Kondensatorfolien.Method for contacting metallic coated with insulating material
Coverings for capacitors The invention relates to a resistance, point
or seam welding process for welding metallic conductors to aluminum foils,
especially of copper terminal lugs. Capacitor foils.
It is well known that capacitors whose metal coatings are painted or
Covered with plastic, are contacted on the end faces. Here the
Contact by pressing the electrical connections against the non-insulated ones
End faces of the capacitor winding take place. This procedure: has the disadvantage
because the contact is worsened over time by corrosion. One is
therefore switched to the contact by applying a metal layer
according to the known flame spraying process on the end faces of the capacitor winding
to undertake. Furthermore, the metallic coatings of the capacitor consist of detachable
Material, the connections can be soldered directly to the end faces of the coil.
The use of solderable foils, such as. B. copper or tin foil,
is economically unsustainable in most cases, so usually aluminum foil
must be processed. As is well known, the @, # pond soldering of aluminum is without additional
Measures not resistant to corrosion, and also those under the action of ultrasound
The soldering results achieved are not always useful. So you are at aluminum foil
essentially relying on the flame spraying process, which is expensive equipment
requires and is not applicable in all cases without difficulty.
There is also known a method in which between connection methods
and foil a perforated insulating foil is placed around defined welding points
ztt create. You can also use the coated film with a connecting wire after
Connect spot welding processes, but this easily creates burn holes, similar
like it when welding. of scaled sheet metal is the case. The consequence is that
the connecting wire pulls out together with the welding points under mechanical stress.
This can also happen if, in a known manner, two connecting wires each
or films are arranged on both sides of the film.
a.) Die Aluminiumfolie ist doppelseitig mit einer
Isolierschicht versehen;
b) die Anschlußfahnen werden beidseitig, einander
gegenüberstehend, aufgelegt, und die Elektroden
werden beidseitig an die Anschlußfahnen ge-
drückt;
induktive Speicherung im Primärkreis verwendet;
d) das Übersetzungsverhältnis des Transformators,
die Elektrodenandruckkraft, die Spannung und die
Stromstärke im Sekundärkreis werden so ein-
gestellt, daß in der fertigen Schweißverbindung
beide Anschlußfahnen eine direkte Berührungs-
fläche miteinander aufweisen, welche neben der
Schweißverbindung noch eine mechanische Ver-
klammerung der Anschlußfahn.en mit der Folie
bewirkt.
The invention is now based on the object of finding a method which eliminates the disadvantages outlined above in a relatively simple manner. According to the invention, this is done by combining the features a.) To c) known per se and the new feature d) a.) The aluminum foil is double-sided with a
Providing an insulating layer;
b) the connecting lugs are on both sides, each other
opposite, placed, and the electrodes
are attached to the connecting lugs on both sides
presses;
c) it will be a transformer without capacitive or
inductive storage used in the primary circuit;
d) the transformation ratio of the transformer,
the electrode pressure force, the voltage and the
Current strength in the secondary circuit are thus
put that in the finished welded joint
both connecting lugs have a direct contact
have surface with each other, which in addition to the
A mechanical connection
Clamping of the connecting lugs with the foil
causes.
Because the thin aluminum foil, which is mechanically easily damaged, lies between the two mechanically stronger connection lugs made of copper, the electrode pressure of the welding electrodes can be selected to be correspondingly high without fear of destroying the thin aluminum foil. The electrode pressure, the welding voltage and the amperage are selected so that the breakdown necessary for the welding through the insulating material of the coated foil takes place with certainty when the welding transformer is switched on. Here, the aluminum foil welds to the connections on both sides, and the connections also weld to one another. This creates a mechanically and electrically stable connection that can be achieved with simple means.
