Description

  • Beschreibung Verfahren zur Schweißung dicker Kunststoffteile nie Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren-und geeignete Anlagen zur Ausführung desseben- zur Schweißung relat,dicker Teile aus Runststoff,vornehmlich die Schweißung von Verschlüssen und Stöpseln,auf Kunststofflaschen für Arzeimittel etc.
  • Bei derartigen Schweißungen ist es notwendig,die zu schweißenden Teile an den Stellen zu erwärmen und auf Schweißtemteratur zu bringen,an der die Teile verbunden werden sollen und nicht an der,der Verbindung gegenüberliegenden Seite.

"a" Es ist bekannt,dass die Schweißung von Kunststoffteilen mit Hilfe eines sogenannten"Bügeleisens"erfolgt.Man hält auf die zu schweißenden Teile entweder von Hand,oder mit einer Appa -ratur erhitzte Metallstangen oder Platten,die solange unter Schveißwärme gehalten werden müssen,bis die Wärme durch das dicke Kunststoffmaterial gehalten werden müssen,bis die Hitze zur Schweißstelle durchgedrungen ist.Das dauert je nach Dicke des Kunststoffes,wegen dessen hohen Wärmewiderstand oft unerträglich lange und ausserdem werden die Aussenseiten des Kunststoffes angeschmolzen oder angebrannt.
  • oder Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde,die, Schweißwärme in kürzester Zeit,unter grösster Materialschonung,bei gering -stern Aufwand genau und eng konzentriert,an die Schweißstelle e heranzubring ind den Schweißvorgang zu vollziehen.
  • I)iese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäss dadurch gelöst,dass eine oder mehrere Elektroden-in Form feinster Widerstandsdrähte -zwischen die zu schweißenden Kunststoffteile-als Ohmsche Widerstände-eingelegt und mittels Niederspannungterhitzt werden Wenn die Schweißtemperatur-die mit Thermofühlern automatisch gesteuert werden kann,erreicht istjpresst man die Teile mit geeigneten Einrichtung,z.B.mit Platten und Luft-oder hydraulischen Zylindern zusammen.Fig#i. u.Fig.3.
  • Die Widerstanusdrahte können ersetzt werden durch feinste ltletall- oder Edelmetallfolie, oder auch durch gedruckte Schaltungen, Im einfachsten Falle dadurch, da man mit Stift oder Druckrolle bzw. Pinsel elektrisch leitende Farbe an der Stelle aufbringt, an der geschweißt weraen soll. Es ist einhellig, daß durch diese Methode, die Schweibstelle sehr konzentriert und das Material in geringster Weise beeinflußt wird.
  • Um eine Einrichtung, wie sie zur rati#onellen und exakten, vor allen Dingen aber zur zuverlässigen Schweißung der geschilderten Art nötig ist, herstellen zu können, bedarf es keiner aufwendigen Mittel. Im einfachsten Falle würde ein einfacher Trafo, wie er handelsüblich - z,B, 220/ 40 Volt 5o bis 200 Watt - zu haben ist, ein Schraubstock und einige Spannzangen und der S#pann- bzw. Widerstandsdraht oder eine Alufolie genügen,um Versuche durchzuführen.
  • Im Fabrikationsbetrieb würde man für diese Lösung der Aufgabe Fig. 3 auf ein ~Transportband" oder Rundschalttisch, eine Anzahl Aufnahmen für die Flaschen und Spanneinrichtung für den Flaschenhals mit Auflage schaffen.
  • Die Stöpsel ~d" sind oberhalb des Rundtisches in Cassetten und die Folien Fig. 2 oder die Drailtringe Fig. 3 e bzw. 4 h können auf der Anlage unmittelbar, z. #. in ~den Stöpsel eingerollt werden. Die auch aus Edelmetall sein können, würde man zweckmäßigerweise an einem Ende etwa 4 cm als gerades ~Aufreißende" herausstehen lassen.
  • Die mit der Erfindung erzielten Vorteile bestehen insbesondere darin, daß relative dicker Kunststoff, z.B. Stangen oder lange Rohre und dicke Platten geschweißt werden können, was bis jetzt nicht oder nur sehr schwer möglich war.
  • Die Schweißqualität ist ganz besonders gut, weil die Wärme ganz konzentriert an die Schweißstelle herangeführt wird und nicht benachbarte Zonen der Werkstoffe beeinflußt.
  • Ein sehr beachtlicher Vorteil besteht auch (taurin, daß sowohl Hand- als auch maschinelle Schweißungen, mit gallz einfachen Einrichtungen durchgeführt werden können.
  • Die Automation der Schweißanlage ist ebenfalls mit relative einfachen Mitteln zu bewerkstelligen.
  • Einige Ausführungsbeispiele der Erfindung sind in den Zeichnungen näher beschrieben.Es zeigen: Fig.la-al zwei lange Stäbe oder grössere Platten,die mittig der ganzen Lange nach zusammengeschweißt werden sollen. Entlang der längsachse ist ein Widerstandsdraht so federnd eingespannt,dass er auch bei Erwärmung und dadurch mögliche geringe Dehnung,noch straff bleibt.An den Enden des Wi-Drahtes wird zur Schweißung,Spannung angelegt-Fig.3 eine Kunststofflasche fX mit Verschluss oder Stöpsel-"d" und Schweißelektrode oder Widerstandsdraht "e".Besondere Bedeutung darf man diesem Problem beimessen,denn in der Praxis werden die Stöpsel,die obendrein mit sehr empfindlichem-Gewinde versehen sind,in der Art der "Bügel"erhitzung aufgeschweißt,d.h.man legt auf den Stöpsel eine erhitzte Platte die naturgemäss,bei dem Uberaue hohen Wärmewiderstand des Kunststoffes,sehr lange Zeit liegen muss,bis die Wärme durch den Bund des Stöpsels hindurch,auf die Gegenseite des dicken Stöpselbundes hindurch an die Schweißstelle gelangt ist.Nicht selten wird dabei der Schrau'bverschluss und der Stöpsel der Flasche angeschmolzen.Äuch hier kann anstelle des Drahtes ein gestanzter Folienring,oder ein Druck verwendetwerden.
  • Fig.5 bietet Designern,Formgestaltern,Konstrukteuren,zweifellos auch der einschlägigen Industrie,viele Möglichkeiten der Gestaltung und Fabrikation, indem ohne irgendwelche Werkzeuge, einfach auf den Kunststoff-und zwar auf eines der beiden Teile,die geschweißt werden sollen,mit elektr.leitender Farbe -eine Kontur gezeichnet wird.
  • Fig.6. zeigt eine Einrichtung und das Verfahren,zur Schwei -ßung von Rohren,die auf Druck beansprucht sind.In-eine Muffe, aus dem gleichen Kunststoffmaterial,wie das Rohr11n",werden 2 zu schweißende Rohret1n11hineinge5teckt,Wobei die Enden der beiden Enden mit einem Widerstandsdrahtring,als Sekundärschleife, umwickelt werden.Pr3Primärseite des Trafo,Sr=Sekundàrschleife m=Nuffe,n= 2 Rohre.
  • Fig.8 veranschaulicht,dass bei dicken Materialien,entsprechend viele oder breite Lagen Widerstarsdsmaterial eingelegt -werden muss.

Claims (4)

Patentansprüche
1.Verfahren zur Schweißung dicker Kunststoffteile, dadurch gekenneeichnet,dass eng begrenzt an der Stelle,an der die Schweißverbindung liegen sollen elektrischer Widerstand nb Fig.1.angeordnet wird,der an eine Spannung angeschlossen werden kann.
2.Verfahren zur Schweißung dicker kunststoffteile nach Anspr.
eins,dadurch gekennzeichnet,dass der elektrische Wider -stand aus Metall-oder Edelietall,aus Folie-oder aus auf gedruckter,elektrisch#leitender Farbe bestehen und beliebige Form haben kann.Fig.2 c; Fig,4 h;Fig.5 1; Fig.6 Sr; 3.Verfahren zur Schweißung dicker Kun8tstoffteile,nach den Ansprüchen 1 und 2,dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Widerstandsdraht Fig.3 e,an einem Ende etwa 4 cm gerade herausragt,und in den Hals f oder Stöpsel d eingesprit. ist.
4.Verfahren zur Schweißung dicker Kunststoffteile,nach den Ansprüchen 1 bis 3,dadurch gekennzeichnet,dass der Widerstand am äusseren Umfang der Rohre ~n",am inneren Umfangder Muffe ~m" oder an einer beliebigen-für die Schweißung günstigen stelle,als Spirale,als Band,als Scheibe oder in beliebiger Art,z.B.als Dück mit leitender Farbe,angebracht wird.
