Abstract

A ground bait dispenser for angling comprises a mesh container made using a casting process, e.g. lead casting, and secured by a hinged release flap to which is attached a wire stay which is angled to operate the release when the dispenser reaches the bed. The angle and length of the wire stay is adjusted to provide the optimum release action depending on the type of water and type of bait used.
