Abstract
Für eine Fluid-Kupplungsanordnung mit einer relativ zu einem Grundkörper verschiebbaren Hülse eines Kupplungsstücks wird vorgeschlagen, ein versehentliches Lösen der Kupplungsverbindung dadurch zu vermeiden, daß die Hülse um einen begrenzten Drehwinkel gegen den Grundkörper verdrehbar ist und in der gedrehten Lage die Längsverschiebung durch Anschlagmittel verhindert ist. Die Hülse ist vorzugsweise in beiden Endpositionen der Drehbewegung durch Rastmittel oder dgl. lagestabil.
Description
Die Erfindung betrifft eine lösbare Fluid-Kupplungsanordnung.
Lösbare Fluid-Kupplungsanordnungen sind beispielsweise aus Schnellkupplungs-
Stecksystemen bekannt. Dabei kann eine Fluid führende Verbindung zwischen zwei
korrespondierenden Kupplungsteilen durch einfaches Ineinanderstecken der beiden
Kupplungsteile hergestellt werden.
Zur Lösung der Verbindung ist beispielsweise eine Ausführung bekannt, bei welcher an
einem der Kupplungsteile ein Betätigungselement, insbesondere eine Hülse, relativ zu
einem Kupplungs-Grundkörper dieses Kupplungsteils verschiebbar ist und dabei Ver
riegelungselemente des Grundkörpers, mittels derer das andere Kupplungsteil gehal
ten ist, freigeben und dadurch das Abziehen des anderen Kupplungsteils aus dem
einen Kupplungsteil ermöglichen.
Es zeigt sich in der Praxis, daß diese in ihrer Einfachheit vorteilhafte Betätigung der
Kupplung zum Lösen der Verbindung auch gelegentlich unbeabsichtigt ausgelöst wird,
beispielsweise durch spielende Kinder oder bei einer Längsbewegung der Hand eines
Benutzers entlang der Fluidleitung, mit teilweise unangenehmen Folgen des unbeab
sichtigten und unkontrollierten Fluid-Austritts.
Der vorliegenden Erfindung liegt daher die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine Kupplungsanord
nung so zu verbessern, daß ein unbeabsichtigtes Lösen der Kupplung vermieden
werden kann.
Die Erfindung ist im unabhängigen Patentanspruch beschrieben. Die Unteransprüche
enthalten vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen und Weiterbildungen der Erfindung.
Durch die gezielte Sperrbarkeit des Freigebens der Kupplung ist für das Lösen eine
vorherige, bewußte Rücknahme der Sperre erforderlich, so daß ein unbeabsichtigtes
Lösen nicht mehr auftritt. Die Sperre kann beispielsweise die Verschiebbarkeit des Be
tätigungselements unverändert lassen und lediglich die Wirkung des Freigebens von
Verriegelungselementen im Grundkörper des betreffenden Kupplungsteils verhindern.
Vorzugsweise wird aber mit der Sperre bereits die Längsverschiebbarkeit des Betäti
gungselements unterbunden.
Die Kupplungsanordnung kann dabei vorteilhafterweise im ungesperrten Zustand in
unveränderter, gewohnter Weise gehandhabt werden. Vorteilhafterweise kann eine An
zeige vorgesehen sein, an welcher der gesperrte oder ungesperrte Zustand optisch er
kennbar ist. Beispielsweise können an Grundkörper und Betätigungselement Markie
rungen und Kennzeichnungen aufgedruckt sein, deren relative Lage im gesperrten und
ungesperrten Zustand verschieden ist. Die eine solche Sperre bewirkenden Mittel sind
vorzugsweise in der sperrenden und in der freigebenden Stellung durch eine Rastfunk
tion oder dgl. positionsstabil und nur entgegen einer erhöhten Rastkraft verstellbar.
Die Erfindung ist anhand bevorzugter Beispiele unter Bezugnahme auf die Abbildun
gen noch eingehend veranschaulicht. Dabei zeigt
Fig. 1 eine erste Ausführung einer Kupplungsanordnung,
Fig. 2 eine zweite Ausführung einer Kupplungsanordnung.
Die Fig. 1 zeigt eine Schlauchkupplung als Teil einer Fluid-Kupplungsanordnung in zer
legter Form mit aus einer äußeren Hülse H1 herausgelöstem Grundkörper G1. Der
Grundkörper G1 weist in an sich bekannter Weise ein Schlauchanschlußteil SCH auf,
in welchem ein aufgestecktes Schlauchende durch Aufdrehen einer nicht eingezeich
neten Überwurfmutter auf ein Gewinde des Grundkörpers G1 gehalten werden kann.
Der Grundkörper enthält ferner in an sich bekannter Weise als wesentliche Funktions
teile um seine zentrale Längsachse gruppiert mehrere Verriegelungselemente V, wel
che einen in das zusammengesetzte Kupplungsstück durch Aufstecken eingesetzten
Kupplungsnippel als Gegenstück der Fluid-Kupplungsanordnung in der Schlauchkupp
lung festhalten.
Im zusammengesetzten Zustand ist die Hülse relativ zum Grundkörper G1 entgegen
der Rückstellkraft einer Druckfeder F in Richtung der Längsachse des Kupplungs
stücks um eine kurze Strecke verschiebbar. Bei dieser Verschiebung werden die Ver
riegelungselemente freigegeben und ein eingesetzter Kupplungsnippel kann aus dem
Kupplungsstück herausgezogen werden. Diese Funktionsweise ist an sich gleichfalls
bekannt und gilt in entsprechender Weise auch für die in Fig. 2 skizzierte Anordnung.
Das Lösen der Kupplungsverbindung kann, wie eingangs geschildert, bei bekannten
derartigen Anordnungen unbeabsichtigt erfolgen. Bei der in Fig. 1 skizzierten Ausfüh
rungsform ist nun an der dem Grundkörper G1 zugewandten Innenwandung der Hülse
H1 wenigstens eine Erhebung in Richtung des Grundkörpers G1 beispielsweise in
Form eines Stegs ST1 vorgesehen, welche beim Verschieben der Hülse aus der Ru
hestellung relativ zum Grundkörper in einer ungesperrten Lage in eine Längs-Ausspa
rung AU1 des Grundkörpers G1 eingleitet und dabei die Verriegelungselemente V1
freigibt. Vorzugsweise sind mehrere Erhebungen und Aussparungen über dem Umfang
verteilt vorgesehen. Die Hülse H1 ist aber nicht nur in Längsrichtung relativ zum
Grundkörper verschiebbar, sondern in ihrer Ruhestellung auch gegen den Grundkörper
verdrehbar in eine gesperrte Lage. Die Verdrehbarkeit ist in beide Richtungen vorteil
hafterweise durch Begrenzungselemente eingeschränkt und kann einrastend erfolgen.
Der Grundkörper G1 weist in seitlicher Begrenzung der Aussparung AU1 einen sich
über einen Drehwinkel um die Längsachse beispielsweise zwischen 10° und 90° er
streckenden Längsanschlag AN1 auf. Bei Verdrehen der Hülse H1 in ihrer Ruhestel
lung gegenüber dem Grundkörper G1 um die Längsachse wird der Steg ST1 in eine
Position verschoben, in welcher in Längsrichtung anliegend oder in geringem Abstand
gegenüberstehend der Längsanschlag AN1 folgt, so daß keine oder zumindest keine
nennenswerte, eine Lösung der Verriegelungselemente bewirkende Längsverschie
bung der Hülse gegenüber dem Grundkörper möglich ist. Eine Gegendrehung der Hül
se bringt diese wieder in die ungesperrte Lage, in welcher der Steg ST1 wieder in die
Aussparung AU1 längsverschiebbar ist.
Die in Fig. 2 skizzierte Kupplung mit einem Grundkörper G2 und einer relativ zu diesem
längsverschiebbaren Hülse H2 weist in äquivalenter Weise am Grundkörper G2 mehre
re in Richtung der Hülse H2 weisende Stege ST2 und an der Innenwandung der Hülse
korrespondierende Aussparungen AU2 mit seitlich winkelversetzten Längsanschlägen
AN2 auf. Für die Funktionsweise gelten die Ausführungen zu Fig. 1 in entsprechender
Weise. Am Umfang der Hülse H2 ist eine Kennzeichnung K zur Angabe der Drehrich
tung zur Sperrung der Kupplung angebracht. Zusätzlich kann am Grundkörper eine
korrespondierende Markierung vorgesehen sein.
Alternativ zu den beschriebenen Ausführungen kann auch vorgesehen sein, in einer
gedrehten Lage der Hülse nicht die Längsverschiebung der Hülse relativ zum Grund
körper zu verhindern, sondern lediglich die Freigabe der Verriegelungselemente bei
einer Längsverschiebung zu unterbinden, so daß in der gesperrten Lage die Hülse
zwar noch längsverschiebbar ist, dies aber kein Lösen der Kupplung bewirken kann.
Die vorstehend und in den Ansprüchen beschriebenen Merkmale sind sowohl einzeln
als auch in verschiedenen Kombinationen vorteilhaft realisierbar. Die Erfindung ist nicht
auf die beschriebenen Ausführungsbeispiele beschränkt, sondern im Rahmen fach
männischen Könnens in mancherlei Weise abwandelbar.
Claims (4)
1. Fluid-Kupplungsanordnung mit zwei in Richtung einer Längsachse lösbar verbun
denen Kupplungsteilen und einem zum Lösen der Verbindung in Längsachsenrich
tung gegen einen Grundkörper verschiebbaren Betätigungselement, gekennzeich
net durch verstellbare Mittel, durch welche das Lösen der Kupplung bei Längsver
schiebung des Betätigungselements unterbindbar ist.
2. Anordnung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Betätigungselement zum
Sperren relativ zum Grundkörper verdrehbar ist.
3. Anordnung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Betätigungselement
eine Hülse ist.
4. Anordnung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß Betä
tigungselement und/oder Grundkörper wenigstens einen Vorsprung aufweisen, wel
cher bei der Längsverschiebung in eine Aussparung des jeweils anderen Elements
gleitet und bei gesperrtem Betätigungselement an einem Anschlag anliegt.
