Die Gleitschutzvorrichtung besteht aus zwei unabhängigen Mecha­ nismen:
Der erste Mechanismus 100 befindet sich im Innenraum der Felge 1 und stellt den beweglichen Teil dar. Er besteht aus einer Achse 8 mit einem Zahnrad 9 und einem Gewinde 13 auf der gegenüberlie­ genden Seite. Gleitschutzvorrichtung für Kraftfahrzeuge, die aus dem Fahr­ zeuginneren durch den Fahrer aktivierbar ist und aus mehreren über den Umfang des Rades verteilten Gleitschutzelementen be­ steht, die mit einem mit der Felge verbundenen ersten Mecha­ nismus in Wirkverbindung stehen, der mit einem zweiten, zur Drehbewegung des Rades feststehenden Mechanismus in Wirkver­ bindung bringbar ist, um bei Drehbewegung des Rades die Gleit­ schutzelemente auf die Reifenlaufflächen zu bewegen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der erste Mechanismus (100) je Gleitschut­ zelement (6) aus einer in der Felge (1) gelagerten Achse (8) mit einem Zahnrad (9) auf der einen Seite und einem Gewinde (13) auf der anderen Seite und einem schwenkbar an der Felge (1) gelagerten Auswerfer (2) besteht, der über ein Zahnrad (3) mit dem Gewinde (13) in Wirkverbindung steht und der zweite Mechanismus (200) ein Gehäuse (12) mit zwei verschiebbar in diesem gelagerte Teilkreiszahnkränze (10, 11) aufweist, wobei zum Aktivieren der Teilkreiszahnkranz (10) zum Deaktivieren der Teilkreiszahnkranz (11) mit dem Zahnrad (9) in Wirkverbin­ dung gebracht wird, wodurch die Achse (8) infolge ihrer Dreh­ bewegung den Auswerfer (2) ein- bzw. ausschwenkt.1.
