Description
The invention is a process for the preparation of tetraorganotin compounds, which thereby is characterized in that one diorganotin oxide or a bis (triorganotin) oxide with an organomagnesium chloride reacted in the presence of an inert organic solvent.
Die Umsetzungen erfolgen nach den Gleichungen:The conversions take place according to the equations:
RR'SnO +2R"MgCl RR'R"2Sn + (MgCl)2O (1)
(R3Sn)2O +2 R"MgCl 2R3SnR" +(MgCl)2O (2)RR'SnO + 2R "MgCl RR'R" 2 Sn + (MgCl) 2 O (1)
(R 3 Sn) 2 O +2 R "MgCl 2R 3 SnR" + (MgCl) 2 O (2)
B. Dibutylzinnoxyd, Methylbutylzinnoxyd, Dimethylzinnoxyd, Dioctylzinnoxyd, Butyloctylzinnoxyd, Dioctadecylzinnoxyd, Dicyclopentylzinnoxyd, Dicyclohexylzinnoxyd, Octylcyclohexylzinnoxyd, Diphenylzinnoxyd, Butylphenylzinnoxyd, Di-o-tolylzinnoxyd, Di-p-anisylzinnoxyd, Di-p-dimethylaminophenylzinnoxyd, Di-a-naphthylzinnoxyd, /?-Naphthylbutylzinnoxyd, Diphenyläthylzinnoxyd, Dimethyloxyphenylzinnoxyd und Dibutoxyphenylzinnoxyd.R and R 'can be the same or different and are generally selected from substituted and unsubstituted Consist of hydrocarbon groups. The permissible substituting groups are those functional groups which do not react with magnesium and / or the organomagnesium chloride under the process conditions. Suitable organotin oxides are e.g. B. Dibutyltin Oxide, Methyl butyl tin oxide, dimethyl tin oxide, dioctyl tin oxide, butyloctyl tin oxide, dioctadecyl tin oxide, dicyclopentyl tin oxide, Dicyclohexyltin oxide, octylcyclohexyltin oxide, diphenyltin oxide, butylphenyltin oxide, Di-o-tolyltin oxide, di-p-anisyltin oxide, di-p-dimethylaminophenyltin oxide, Di-a-naphthyltin oxide, /? - naphthylbutyltin oxide, Diphenylethyltin Oxide, Dimethyloxyphenyltin Oxide and Dibutoxyphenyltin Oxide.
Organische Chloride,

von TetraorganozinnverbindungenThe term organomagnesium chloride R "MgCl" refers to the known Grignard reagents and includes numerous reagents known to those skilled in the art. In this context, reference is made to the "Index of Grignard Reagents" in the book by Kharasch and Reinworth, "Grignard Reaction of Nonmetallic Substances", Prentice- Hall, Inc. (1954), which describes numerous known organomagnesium chlorides, The organomagnesium chlorides described in the referenced book are in large part made by combining an organic chloride with magnesium in the presence of a relatively large amount of ethyl ether - usually at least 2 moles for each 1 mol of magnesium - is converted. Recently it has also been found how organomagnesium chlorides can be prepared from very different aromatic, vinylic and pseudoaromatic-heterocyclic chlorides, which cannot be produced in ethyl ether. In this case, the desired organic chloride is placed in the presence of magnesium from Tet rahydrofuran or an equivalent cyclic polymethylene oxide and activates the magnesium in a known manner with a reactive halide, eg. B. with ethyl bromide, methyl iodide or with an iodine crystal. All previously known organomagnesium chlorides can be used for the process according to the invention, ie for example aliphatic, cycloaliphatic, aromatic and heterocyclic magnesium chlorides. The above illustrative organotin oxides and organomagnesium chlorides show that extraordinarily different compounds are suitable for the claimed implementation. Diorganotin oxides are commonly made from diorganotin dihalides.

Then the agent, which consisted predominantly of heptane, was added organomagnesium chloride, preferably with stirring, to the solution within 1 hour while stirring with a solution. In general, the reaction starts containing 1.6 moles of vinyl magnesium chloride, added immediately. In certain cases, the organotin oxide is maintained at a temperature between 70 and 90 ° C to the organomagnesium chloride in an inert : - The reaction mixture was then added to organic solvent for 1.5 hours.
