Description
The present invention relates to a laminated glass pane, in particular a pane for a motor vehicle, with two panes connected to one another via an intermediate adhesive layer, namely an outer pane and an inner pane, according to the preamble of claim 1. The invention also relates to a motor vehicle equipped with a laminated glass pane of this type .
Laminated glass panes, usually also referred to as safety glass, are panes with at least two glass panes which are connected by an adhesive intermediate layer made of plastic, for example a cast resin or a highly tear-resistant, tough-elastic thermoplastic composite film arranged in between. The main areas of application here are vehicle windscreens and overhead glazing in the construction sector. A further field of application of such laminated glass panes is, for example, soundproof glass, fire protection glass and burglary or bullet-resistant glass, with particularly resistant laminated glasses being formed by a combination of several glass panes with one or more panes made of polycarbonate. However, there is often a problem with the attachment of resistant inscriptions, which, in order to have a particularly high level of resistance, should preferably be located between the actual glass panes, i.e. in the area of the adhesive layer arranged between them. In order to be able to meet high aesthetic requirements, it is necessary to fix the actual lettering when gluing the two panes of glass together. In addition, there is often the problem of being able to design the desired lettering optically in such a way that the viewer notices it visually.
The present invention deals with the problem of specifying an improved embodiment for a generic laminated glass pane, with which in particular the attachment of a visually striking lettering between two panes of the laminated glass pane is easily possible.
According to the invention, this problem is solved by the subject matter of the independent claims. Advantageous embodiments are the subject matter of the dependent claims.
The invention is based on the general idea, in order to attach an optically prominent sign in the composite area of a laminated glass pane, first to attach at least a negative of the later visible sign to an inside of an outer pane of the laminated glass pane by means of a screen printing process, and then to apply a transparent film of a different color to the screen print in the area of the to bond at least one character to the adhesive layer, which later holds the inner pane and the outer pane of the laminated glass pane together. Screen printing, formerly also known as "serigraphy", is a printing process in which printing ink is applied to the material to be printed, i.e. in this case to the inside to be printed, using a wiper-like tool, such as a rubber squeegee, through a fine-meshed textile fabric the outer pane, is printed. In those areas of the fabric where no color is to be printed in accordance with the image motif, the mesh openings of the fabric have been made color-impermeable using a stencil. The stencil represents a positive of the sign that will later be visible on the outer pane. In general, such a screen printing process can be used to produce a wide variety of prints, including prints of very high artistic quality, which meet the highest demands. Due to the later, the negative of the screen print backing film, which preferably has a very different color design to the color used in the screen printing, an optically striking contrast between the film and the edges of the sign produced by the screen printing process can be achieved. By fixing, ie gluing the transparent film to the adhesive layer, an extremely precise positioning of the transparent film with respect to the laminated glass pane can also be achieved, as a result of which a high quality of the lettering to be produced can be achieved.
The visible film is either self-adhesive and is bonded directly or indirectly via an adhesive film to the adhesive layer, which is in particular designed as a PVB film. The viewing film formed in this way can be arranged extremely easily and in a precise position on the adhesive layer, in particular on the PVB film, and in this state is already fixed in position and ready for bonding the inner pane to the outer pane. In particular, such an adhesive film or a self-adhesive design of the viewing film can reliably prevent slippage during the bonding of the inner pane to the outer pane and thus the production of rejects.
In an advantageous development of the solution according to the invention, the adhesive layer arranged between the inner pane and the outer pane is designed as a so-called PVB film (polyvinyl butyral film). Polyvinyl butyral is a plastic that is primarily used as a hot-melt adhesive in the form of interlayers for laminated glass. In this application, it is characterized by a splinter-binding effect and high tear resistance. In general, PVB is made from polyvinyl alcohol by acetalization with butanol. Of course, other adhesive layer materials such as ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA), polyacrylate (PA), polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) and polyurethane (PUR) are also conceivable. In general, such a PVB film can be produced inexpensively on the one hand and, on the other hand, has impressively proven its high practical suitability due to the many years of use.
The viewing film expediently has a thickness ds of approximately 0.05 mm. Since the transparent film is only arranged in the area of the sign produced by screen printing, care must be taken to ensure that the inner pane can nevertheless be bonded to the outer pane in a plane-parallel manner to form the laminated glass pane. It is extremely important here that the viewing film does not exceed a certain thickness in order to avoid tension between the outer pane and the inner pane. Because the transparent film is only five hundredths of a millimeter thick, such stresses can be almost completely ruled out, so that producing a laminated glass pane with the lettering according to the invention does not lead to any quality disadvantages compared to other laminated glass panes.
Further important features and advantages of the invention result from the dependent claims, from the drawings and from the associated description of the figures with reference to the drawings.
It goes without saying that the features mentioned above and those still to be explained below can be used not only in the combination specified in each case, but also in other combinations or on their own, without departing from the scope of the present invention.
Preferred exemplary embodiments of the invention are illustrated in the drawings and are explained in more detail in the following description, with the same reference numbers referring to identical or similar or functionally identical components.

In order, for example, to be able to permanently attach a manufacturer's designation or other information to the laminated glass pane 1, this should be arranged between the
For this reason, according to the invention, a negative 5 of the at least one
In the case of a
