Abstract

Es ist eine Verbrennungsmotor-Zündvorrichtung vorgeschlagen, bei welcher eine Umschaltschaltung keinen an eine Leistungsversorgung, wie beispielsweise eine Batterie, angeschlossenen Leistungsversorgungsanschluss hat und einen an eine Zündspule angeschlossenen Ausgangsanschluss, einen Eingangsanschluss zum Empfangen einer Zufuhr einer Zündsignalspannung und einen an ein Referenzpotential angeschlossenen Referenzpotentialanschluss enthält. Eine Stromversorgungsschaltung ist zwischen dem Eingangsanschluss und dem Referenzpotentialanschluss angeschlossen und ein Strom wird von der Stromversorgungsschaltung zu einem Treiberwiderstand des Umschaltelements zugeführt. Diese Stromversorgungsschaltung wird durch eine Konstantstromschaltung gesteuert und führt einen Treiberstrom, der zu einem konstanten Strom gemacht ist, zu dem Treiberwiderstand zwischen einem ansteigenden Abschnitt der Zündsignalspannung und einem abfallenden Abschnitt davon zu. Der Treiberstrom, der zu dem konstanten Strom gemacht ist, hält die Gatespannung des Umschaltelements in der eingeschalteten Periode konstant.
