Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a large container according to the preamble of claim 1.
Transport and storage of insulation products therefore already poses problems because these are large volume products and therefore products with it high space and space requirements. At the same time, such products packaging must be handled carefully because of the internal fiber structure of these products in the sense of maintaining the desired insulation effect may be destroyed. With insulation rolls that reduce the transport volume are wrapped under compression, it should also be noted in the compression that the for the use of re-developed insulation rolls also correspondingly to the ge desired nominal thickness must spring back in order to turn the desired insulation material maintain.
So far, such insulation rolls have been used as large containers for transport and storage combined into one module, which is encased, with several modules for have several insulation rolls, ste on a pallet or the like arranged and stacked one above the other and covered with a film hood. On The problem here is that in the conventional insulation rolls, the carrier area of a pallet can not be fully used, so that open spaces and thus Free volumes arise which are used for the transport and storage of insulation material cannot be used forcibly. Because of these open spaces, there is also Danger that the modules on the pallet can slip during transport what can then damage the film hood. There is also a min derter Degree of utilization of the transport volume of the transport vehicles, what again increased by the transportation cost of these products. This is especially because of Significance because it concerns large-volume products with low mass. in addition comes that with a standing arrangement of the insulation rolls and not more complete Utilization of the carrier surface of a pallet has a central load distribution, whereby the carrier surface of the pallet bends and can break in the worst case. Finally, difficulties can arise when stacking standing insulation rolls follow a so-called bag formation at the front, which occurs when winding longer felts are formed on the front. Through these front "bags", which are a length of up to 80 mm, the stability of the stacked Mo suffers duls. Insulation rolls with a bag winding of <25 mm are therefore excluded different.
The object of the invention is to provide a large container, which for transport and Storage is sufficiently stable and optimal use of transport volume and Transport area or storage volume and storage area results. The large container should be easy to handle with the usual means of transport.
This object is achieved by the characterizing part of the claim 1 contained features solved, expedient developments of the invention by the features contained in the subclaims are marked.
According to the invention, the insulation rolls within one module subjected to increased compression. Conventional insulation rolls are mostly included a compression of 1: 2.5, the compression according to the invention is half of 1: 3, in particular above 1: 3.5 and preferably the usual Pipe density for the insulation rolls has a compression ratio of 1: 4 and above is set. At the same time, the modules are arranged lying on the pallets, so that the main surface of the module consists of several insulation rolls on the pallet support surface rests. In this orientation, the modules with their large main surfaces are flush with the Stacked one on top of the other. Furthermore, at least one of the one above the other is arranged ten modules in an axially cross-wise arrangement, i.e. interlaced with the neighboring module aligned.
In particular, an increased deformation resistance of the modules is aimed for and implemented in order to avoid plastic deformations of a harmful nature in the stack, the increased deformation resistance advantageously being achieved through optimized adjustment of the binder content, the fiber formation and the degree of compression. The rule of thumb here is the gross density × the degree of compression of the insulation roll ≧ 35 kg / m 3 , with a preferred range ranging from 50 to 60 kg / m 3 .
Furthermore, the length of the insulation rolls is adapted to the length of the pallet, so it is about a standard pallet, just like the width of the module on the pallet width what is achieved by appropriate compression. In particular, it is preferred that the Length of the modules essentially matches what the width of the modules corresponding number of insulation rolls and the corresponding compression is enough.

The packaging, in particular large packaging of insulation rolls, poses particular problems because these are products with a comparatively large volume and thus considerable dimensions, which have a corresponding suspension property, so that packaging which is stable in terms of transport is to be aimed for. Up to now, as shown in FIGS . 1a to 1c and FIG. 2, several insulation rolls 1 have been combined in a film covering to form a module 2 and the insulation rolls roll from a width dimension a according to FIG. 1a to a width dimension a '( Fig. 1b), so that the composite length dimension of the modules corresponds to the measurement from a standard range. At the same time, the insulation rolls themselves were wound with a certain amount of compression, e.g. B. with a degree of compression of 1: 2.5 to keep a space-saving transport unit, which at the same time has a more compact structure. This state in turn results from Fig. 1a. The modules 2 have a modular length 1, which speaks ent the length of the insulation rolls 1 were hitherto, as shown in Fig. 2, arranged upright on standard pallets, and one above the other in two layers, then the one above the other and arranged upright modules 2 including the pallet 3 were hen with another foil wrapping to form the large container 4 . Here, a hood-shaped shrink film was mostly used. The standard range for use in the transport and storage of insulation rolls currently has a length and width of 1200 mm × 1200 mm. The length of the insulation rolls is usually also 1200 mm, which corresponds to the length and width dimension of the standard pallet. If now usual insulation rolls z. B. have a diameter of 470 mm, this has the consequence that the modules, in particular in the case of packaging with three such rolls of insulation, correspond to the dimension of the standard range in relation to the dimension "a", but due to their less compressed width "b '" with a standing arrangement on the pallet 3, only two modules can be arranged side by side, since with a third standing row, this would protrude beyond the pallet. Inevitably, a longitudinal free surface 6 with a length of 1200 mm and a width of approximately 120 mm is created on both sides of the main surfaces 5 of the stacked modules, which can not be used for receiving insulation material. At the same time, there is the risk of damage to the shrink film due to excessive stresses occurring at the edge of the pallet, resulting in tearing of the film and thus destruction, as a result of the resulting jump from the pallet on the main surface 5 of the modules of the insulating material rolls when the modules slip of the packaging.
Modullagen.According to the invention, however, a pallet can be optimally used by arranging the modules to utilize the pallet space. In the illustrated exemplary embodiments in which a diameter size of the insulation rolls of 470 mm and a length of 1200 mm is assumed, when the arrangement of three insulation rolls in a module, the module is compressed to such an extent that the width of the modules a 'is approximately 1200 mm is. Thus, a module 2 lying on the pallet 3 can optimally and fully utilize the pallet support surface and does not project on either side of the pallet. The large container is then realized in that the individual layers of the modules are stacked one on top of the other, with the main surface 5 on the main surface 5 , at least one of the module layers or modules being angularly offset, in particular arranged at 90 ° crosswise to the other modules or Module positions.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 3, the modules 2 arranged one above the other are arranged alternately crosswise, the angular displacement being 90 ° in each case. 3 with main surface on main surface correspondingly stacked modules according to the embodiment according to FIG. 3 form an extraordinarily stable large container which, compared to the stacking shown in FIG. 2, advantageously has a smaller height. With the diameters of the insulating material rolls shown here in Re, the large container according to FIG. 3 is about 100 mm lower than the large container according to the prior art according to FIG. 2. Furthermore, the large container according to FIG. 3 contains the one shown for comparison known stack according to FIG. 2 one more module and is more stable and thus withstands considerable transport loads. This means that with the solution according to the invention, much more space-saving insulation rolls can be transported and stored than before, with a higher stability of the Großge binding coming, which is due to the lying, axially crosswise arrangement of the insulation rolls and the other through the better load distribution on the pallet is required.
In the second embodiment according to the invention according to FIG. 4, at least one layer of the modules 2 , here the uppermost layer, is arranged crosswise, while the other layers are stacked and aligned in the same axial direction. Here, too, the pallet support surface is formed flush and there is a very stable large container, which is particularly suitable for transport and storage. The height reduction compared to the comparative example according to FIG. 2 is also 100 mm here. It is assumed that the particular stability of the large containers according to the invention results not least from this because, owing to the crosswise arrangement, at least between two adjacent modules, there is no essentially linear or strip-shaped support between the modules in the region of the individual insulation rolls. Much more occurs as a result of the crosswise arrangement of a more punctiform or limited punctiform support, which results in larger bearing pressures within the large container, which leads to better adhesion of the modules to one another within the large container.
In the embodiments according to FIGS . 3 and 4, the insulation rolls are wound with a compression of 1: 4, which is achieved by the fact that the felt is already pre-compressed in the winding block and is compressed in two stages, so to speak. This results in a significantly increased resistance to deformation of the insulation rolls compared to usual compression ratios of 1: 2.5. This increased deformation resistance, which also leads to a corresponding stiffness of the module, is important for the stability of the large container, because in this way in particular no harmful plastic deformations of the product occur when stacked. In addition to the binder content and fiber formation, the deformation resistance is essentially dependent on the bulk density in kg / m 3 and the dimensionless degree of compression of the product to be stacked. Here, in order to optimize the large container according to the invention, it is specified that the bulk density × degree of compression ≧ 35 kg / m 3 is expedient.
In the embodiments according to the invention according to FIGS. 3 and 4, a clamping felt with a bulk density of 14 kg / m 3 was used, which was compressed in the roll in a ratio of 1: 4, so that according to the rule of thumb raw density × degree of compression a value of 56 kg / m 3 , which is above the value of 35 kg / m 3 .
As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, it is particularly expedient if three insulation rolls are used side by side in a module and a total of 5 modules are stacked one above the other for large containers. However, it is also possible to determine the bulk density of the insulation rolls z. B. to reduce to a value of 13 kg / m 3 and the degree of compression so that 6 modules can be stacked on a pallet NEN. It is also possible to use several pressure-resistant strips of insulating material instead of a pallet as a base. A film is used to form the covering of the modules, which is either achieved by wrapping a film, the ends of which are folded over and welded or glued to one another, or a shrink film is used. The same is also proposed for the wrapping of the module stack to form the large container, wherein a film hood can also be useful.
Although the large container described here is significant and preferred for insulation roll is described, this large container can also be used for other products, such as sta pelletized and compressed insulation panels or mats and realize the like.
