Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Schneiden von Lebensmitteln in Scheiben, Streifen und Wuerfeln, bestehend aus einer Vorschubeinheit, zwei kreuzweise angeordneten Schneidgattern und einem vor dem Schneidgatter rotierenden Abschlagmesser. Ziel ist es, eine Vorrichtung zu entwickeln, bei der sich eine Verbesserung des Schneidprozesses und der Schnittqualitaet ergibt. Aufgabe ist es, die Zeitspanne zu verlaengern, die waehrend der Rotation des Abschlagmessers fuer den taktweisen Vorschub des Schneidgutes genutzt wird. Erfindungsgemaess wird die Aufgabe dadurch geloest, dass die dem Schneidblock zugewandte Flaeche eines Abschlagmessers mit einer Aussparung versehen ist, die eine Tiefe X aufweist und die in Richtung Abschlagmesserschneide von einer Randflaeche begrenzt ist, wobei die Tiefe X groesser oder gleich dem maximalen Schneidgutvorschub gewaehlt ist.
