Abstract
Μια βελτιωμένη μέθοδος και συσκευή για ψύξη έμμεσης εξάτμισης ενός ρευστού ρεύματος έως ουσιαστικά το σημείο υγροποίησης αυτού. Ο εναλλάκτης θερμότητας ελάσματος έχει διατρήσεις (11) και διαύλους (3, 4 και 5) για αέριο ή χαμηλή θερμοκρασία για υγρά σε μία στεγνή πλευρά και υγρή πλευρά. Ρεύματα (1) ρευστού ρέουν κατά μήκος της στεγνής πλευράς (9), μεταφέροντας θερμότητα στο έλασμα. Ρεύμα (2) αερίου ρέει κατά μήκος της στεγνής πλευράς και διαμέσου διατρήσεων σε διαύλους (5) στην υγρή πλευρά (10), το οποίο στην συνέχεια ψύχει με ψύξη οφειλόμενη σε εξάτμιση όπως επίσης με επαφή και μεταφορά με ακτινοβολία θερμότητας από το έλασμα. Ένα υλικό τριχοειδούς άντλησης προσφέρει διαβροχή της υγρής πλευράς. Σε άλλες υλοποιήσεις, μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθεί ένας αφυγραντικός τροχός ώστε να αφυγράνει το αέριο, μπορούν να επανακυκλοφορούνται ρεύματα αέρα, μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθούν φυτίλια (13) τροφοδότη και μία αντλία ώστε να έλθει το νερό από μία δεξαμενή νερού, και μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθούν ανεμιστήρες ώστε να ωθούν ή να αναρροφούν.
