Η παρούσα εφεύρεση αφορά τροποποιημένες μονοοξυγενάσες κυτοχρώματος Ρ450 με τροποποιημένο προφίλ υποστρώματος, ακολουθίες νουκλεϊνικού οξέος που κωδικεύουν κατασκευάσματα έκφρασης και φορείς, ανασυνδυασμένους μικροοργανισμούς, οι οποίοι περιέχουν τους φορείς αυτούς καθώς και μεθόδους για την μικροβιολογική παρασκευή ακροτελικά ή υπο-ακροτελικά υδροξυλιωμένων αλειφατικών καρβονικών οξέων.
