Abstract

Un aparato para el encogimiento previo del género tejido, incluyendo un rodillo de entrada, un tambor caliente y una frazada (usualmente una frazada sin fin de tipo de felpa) que corre sobre el rodillo de entrada y después sobre la cara exterior del tambor. Una primera superficie inicialmente exterior de la frazada es estimada y después compactadas. Una hoja lisa fuerte flexible (en la forma de un delantal o cinta sin fin por lo menos tan anchos como el género tejido) presiona el género tejido sobre el rodillo de entrada y después la hoja se extiende en contacto con el género tejido sobre una cana superior del mismo encima de la cara exterior del tambor.
