Abstract
Un dispositivo para tratar fracturas de un hueso, que comprende: una pluralidad de brazos, cada uno de los cuales se extiende desde un extremo proximal hasta un extremo distal y se puede desplazar en un espacio tridimensional, el cual extremo proximal de cada brazo está acoplado a un marco; una pluralidad de acoples, cada uno de los cuales está acoplado a un extremo distal de uno correspondiente de los brazos, el cual acople recibe de forma asegurable un elemento de osteosíntesis asegurado a un fragmento óseo correspondiente de manera que cada uno de los brazos está acoplado a un fragmento correspondiente del hueso; una unidad mecánica que provee movimiento a los brazos para desplazar cada uno de los brazos con respecto al marco; y un controlador que recibe datos correspondientes a una posición final deseada de los fragmentos óseos entre sí y que controla la unidad mecánica para desplazar los brazos entre sí para que alcancen la posición final deseada de los fragmentos óseos entre sí.Un método, que comprende; asegurar un primer fragmento óseo a un primer elemento de osteosíntesis y un segundo fragmento óseo a un segundo elemento de osteosíntesis; acoplar un extremo distal de un primer brazo al primer elemento de osteosíntesis y un extremo distal de un segundo brazo al segundo elemento de osteosíntesis, cada uno de los cuales primero y segundo brazos se extiende entre el extremo distal y un extremo proximal acoplado a un marco.
