本实用新型涉及一种加工外螺纹的圆板牙。主 要由圆筒形板牙本体和设置在板牙本体一头的切削 刃以及沿板牙本体径向相间开设的排屑通槽构成。 在螺纹加工过程中产生的切屑从该径向开通的排屑 通槽中排出,既避免了切屑堵塞拉伤螺纹,也利于切 削刃的散热,延长其寿命。特别适用于较软材料的螺 纹加工和长螺杆加工。

Description

本实用新型涉及的是一种加工工具。特别涉及的是一种加工外螺纹的圆板牙。
现有的圆板牙具有一个圆台形本体,切削刃相间设置在圆台本体的中部,在切削刃的两边沿圆台形板牙本体轴向开有容屑孔以容纳集存加工螺纹时产生的切屑。这种结构的圆板牙,由于其切屑堆集在切削刃的两边排不出来,不仅不利于切削刃的散热,同时也易因切屑的堵塞而拉伤已加工好的螺纹而造成报废。特别是在对较软材料进行加工和加工较长螺杆时更为明显。
本实用新型的目的是提供一种能及时排出螺纹加工产生的切屑而避免切屑堵塞拉伤螺纹的易排屑板牙。
实现本实用新型的目的的易排屑板牙具有一圆筒形板牙本体,切屑刃设置在圆筒形板牙本体的一头,在板牙本体的切削刃段,沿板牙本体的径向相间开有排屑通槽。在螺纹加工过程中产生的切屑从切屑刃口脱离后,沿板牙本体的径向从排屑通槽中排出。将所述的排屑通槽设计成与被加工螺纹的旋向相适应的轴向螺旋形排屑通槽,可使其切屑更容易地从切屑刃口进入轴向螺旋形排屑通槽顺畅排出。同时,这样设计的螺旋形排屑通槽还将圆板牙的切屑刃的前刀面由原来的曲面改变为直线面,其前角因而也为一个定值,不再随螺纹的大、小径变化而改变,使其切削更为稳定。
本实用新型将原来的圆台形板牙改进为圆筒形板牙,并将原来的容屑槽沿板牙本体的径向开通成为一排屑通槽,使螺纹加工过程中产生的切屑能顺利地从该径向排屑通槽中排出板牙本体,既避免了切屑堵塞拉伤螺纹,也有利于切削刃的散热,提高其使用寿命。采用轴向螺旋形排屑通槽,将切削刃的前刀面由曲面改为了直线面,使其切削更加稳定,加工质量也因此得以提高,特别适合用于较软材料的螺纹加工和长螺杆加工。

如图1~2所示,在本实施例中,本实用新型由圆筒形板牙本体1、切削刃2和排屑通槽3构成。切削刃2设在板牙本体1的一头,排屑通槽3开设在板牙本体的切削刃段上,且沿板牙本体的径向开通。在本实施例中,排屑通槽为一个轴向螺旋形排屑通槽。

1、一种易排屑板牙,包括板牙本体和切削刃,其特征在于所述的板牙本体为一圆筒形板牙本体,切削刃设置在圆筒形板牙本体的一头,在板牙本体的切削刃段,沿板牙本体的径向相间开设有排屑通槽。
2、如权利要求1所述的易排屑板牙,其特征在于所述的排屑通槽为一轴向螺旋形排屑通槽。
