Abstract

一种卡缘连接器,包括绝缘本体、收容于绝缘本体内的端子及金属件,绝缘本体设有基部及设置于基部两端的臂部,所述两臂部之间形成插置空间,所述基部设有与插置空间相通的插槽,所述端子设有凸伸入插槽内的接触部,所述臂部设有弹性支臂,该弹性支臂设有凸伸入插槽内的锁扣部,金属件安装于弹性支臂上,所述金属件设有安装于臂部上的固持臂及自固持臂向插置空间外侧弯折延伸的钩部,且该钩部设于臂部外侧,从而防止弹性支臂断裂。

卡缘连接器
【技术领域】
本实用新型涉及一种卡缘连接器,尤其涉及一种具有金属件的卡缘连接器。
【背景技术】
美国发明专利第6,042,411号揭示了一种卡缘连接器结构。该卡缘连接器具有纵长的绝缘本体,绝缘本体两端向前延伸出绝缘臂部。绝缘本体具有相对设置的上壁、下壁、连接上壁与下壁的后壁及前述各壁包围形成的插槽,该插槽位于两个绝缘臂部之间并且沿纵长方向向前敞开。插槽两侧的上壁和下壁分别设有一排端子槽道以收容导电端子。所述绝缘臂部包括弹性支臂及与弹性支臂相邻设置的挡臂,所述弹性支臂与挡臂之间设有间隙。所述弹性支臂上安装有加强弹性支臂强度的金属件,所述弹性支臂设有向插槽内凸伸的锁扣部。虽然金属件的设置已使得弹性支臂的强度增强,但当弹性支臂受到朝向插置槽内的外力时,弹性支臂仍有断裂的可能。
因此有必要提供一种改进的卡缘连接器以解决上述问题。
【实用新型内容】
本实用新型的主要目的在于提供一种防止弹性支臂断裂的卡缘连接器。
为了实现上述目的,本实用新型采用以下技术方案:一种卡缘连接器,包括绝缘本体、收容于绝缘本体内的端子及金属件,绝缘本体设有基部及设置于基部两端的臂部,所述两臂部之间形成插置空间,所述基部设有与插置空间相通的插槽,所述端子设有凸伸入插槽内的接触部,所述臂部设有弹性支臂,该弹性支臂设有凸伸入插槽内的锁扣部,金属件安装于弹性支臂上,所述金属件设有安装于臂部上的固持臂及自固持臂向插置空间外侧弯折延伸的钩部,且该钩部设于臂部外侧。
与现有技术相比,本实用新型卡缘连接器具有如下有益效果:通过金属件设有安装于臂部上的固持臂及自固持臂向插置空间外侧弯折延伸的钩部,且该钩部设于臂部外侧,从而当弹性支臂受到向内的外力时,该钩部可改善弹性支臂的过度变形,可以防止弹性支臂断裂。

【具体实施方式】
请参阅图1至图3,本实用新型卡缘连接器用于插置电子卡5,该卡缘连接器包括绝缘本体1、固持于绝缘本体中的端子2、安装于绝缘本体1两端的金属件3及抓板件4。
请继续参阅图4至图6,所述绝缘本体1设有纵长的基部10及自基部10两端向前延伸的臂部11,在本实施方式中,该臂部11为绝缘材料形成,当然该臂部11也可为金属材料形成,两臂部11之间形成供电子卡5插置的插置空间12,所述基部10设有开口朝向插置空间12的插槽13、位于插槽13上侧的第一侧壁14及位于插槽13下侧的第二侧壁15。所述第一、第二侧壁设有数个收容端子的收容槽16,所述基部10设有凸伸入插槽13内的键扣17,该键扣17与两臂部11之间的距离不等。该键扣17用于导引电子卡5***插槽13内,并可防止电子卡5误插。所述臂部11包括主体部110、自主体部110同向延伸的弹性支臂111及挡臂112,所述弹性支臂111设有向插置空间12内凸伸的凸块113,该凸块113设有与电子卡5相锁扣的锁扣部114,所述电子卡5的两端设有与锁扣部114相锁扣的凹口51。所述挡臂112的下侧设有自主体部110与挡臂112同向延伸的固持部115,该固持部115设有固持槽116。
所述端子2包括第一端子21及第二端子22,所述第一端子21自绝缘本体1的前侧组装入绝缘本体1,所述第二端子22自绝缘本体1的后侧组装入绝缘本体1,所述第一、第二端子21设有***第一侧壁内的固持部210、220、自固持部210、220一端沿臂部11延伸方向延伸的接触弹臂211、221及自固持部另一端延伸的焊接部212、222,所述接触弹臂设有凸伸入插槽13内的接触部213、223。所述第一端子21的焊接部212位于绝缘本体1的前侧,所述第二端子22的焊接部222位于绝缘本体1的后侧。
所述金属件3设有固持臂31,该固持臂31具有上侧缘311及下侧缘312,所述金属件3设有自该固持臂31的上侧缘311弯折延伸且包覆凸块113的包覆部32,所述固持臂31的头部设有固持部33,所述弹性支臂111与挡臂112之间设有通槽117,所述固持臂31固持于该通槽117内。该金属件3自固持臂下侧缘312向插置空间12外侧弯折延伸有“L”形的钩部34,该钩部34设置于臂部11外侧且钩住挡臂112,当弹性支臂111受到向插置空间12侧的外力时,因该钩部34钩住挡臂112,防止弹性支臂111的过渡变形,以改善弹性支臂111断裂的现象。所述金属件3自固持臂下侧缘312向插置空间12侧弯折延伸有限位部35,该限位部35设置于弹性支臂111的下侧,当电子卡5受到外力时,该限位部35可限制电子卡5向下移动的距离(请参图5所示)。
所述抓板件4由金属板冲压后弯折而成,该抓板件4设有固持于固持槽116中的固持臂41及自固持臂41弯折延伸的焊接部42。

Claims (10)

1.一种卡缘连接器,包括绝缘本体、收容于绝缘本体内的端子及金属件,绝缘本体设有基部及设置于基部两端的臂部,所述两臂部之间形成插置空间,所述基部设有与插置空间相通的插槽,所述端子设有凸伸入插槽内的接触部,所述臂部设有弹性支臂,该弹性支臂设有凸伸入插槽内的锁扣部,金属件安装于弹性支臂上,其特征在于:所述金属件设有安装于臂部上的固持臂及自固持臂向插置空间外侧弯折延伸的钩部,且该钩部设于臂部外侧。
2.如权利要求1所述的卡缘连接器,其特征在于:所述臂部设有设置于弹性支臂外侧的挡臂,上述钩部对应该挡臂设置。
3.如权利要求1所述的卡缘连接器,其特征在于:所述钩部呈“L”形。
4.如权利要求2所述的卡缘连接器,其特征在于:所述弹性支臂与挡臂之间设有通槽,所述固持臂固持于该通槽内。
5.如权利要求1或2或3所述的卡缘连接器,其特征在于:所述金属件设有自固持臂向插置空间内侧弯折延伸的限位部。
6.如权利要求5所述的卡缘连接器,其特征在于:所述臂部设有与挡臂一体相连的固持部,所述电连接器设有固持于固持部内的抓板件。
7.如权利要求6所述的卡缘连接器,其特征在于:所述绝缘本体设有位于插槽两侧的第一侧壁及第二侧壁,所述第一、第二侧壁设有数个收容端子的收容槽。
8.如权利要求7所述的卡缘连接器,其特征在于:所述绝缘本体设有凸伸入插槽内的键扣,该键扣与两臂部之间的距离不等。
9.如权利要求8所述的卡缘连接器,其特征在于:所述端子包括第一端子及第二端子,所述第一、第二端子均设有焊接部,所述第一端子的焊接部位于绝缘本体的一侧,所述第二端子的焊接部位于绝缘本体的另一侧。
10.如权利要求9所述的卡缘连接器,其特征在于:所述第一端子设有***第一侧壁内的固持部及自固持部沿臂部延伸方向延伸的接触弹臂,该接触弹臂上设有接触部。
