Abstract

本发明公开一种用于承接侧缘具有凹口的卡模组的电连接器,其包括设有纵长狭槽的基座、定位于狭槽边侧的若干端子及一对定位在基座相对两末端的扣臂,其中每个扣臂在其一端设有卡持卡模组的锁扣部和与卡模组凹口相应设置的固持部,固持部上方贴合有止挡片,固持部及止挡片可阻止卡模组错误地向下旋转安装,有利于及早发现安装位置不当并及时正确安装,从而保证卡模组安装至正确位置。

【技术领域】
本发明是有关一种电连接器,尤其是指一种有利于卡模组正确***至预期位置的电连接器。
【背景技术】
中国专利公告第2501197Y号揭示了一种电连接器,在该设计中,电连接器设有具纵长狭槽的基座的绝缘本体,定位于狭槽的边侧的若干个端子,及一对定位在基座的相对两末端的混合型扣臂,其中每个扣臂包括一体成型于绝缘本体的塑胶件和位于塑胶件边侧的金属件,并在末端部设有锁扣部;金属件,包括直接固定于本体上的主体,可与塑胶件配合移动;金属件进一步包括引导栓,其尺寸大小与锁扣部相匹配;当卡模组经过倾斜***、向下旋转而安装至该连接器上时,金属件可使塑胶件的锁扣部免受损伤。
然而,该设计也存在不足:当卡模组尚未正确***至预期位置并向下旋转安装时,由于卡模组先接触电连接器扣臂上的锁扣部的引导栓,籍由引导拴的导引作用及卡模组向下的压力作用,弹性结构扣臂向两侧张开,压至水平位置时扣臂回弹并将卡模组锁定,如此产品若投入使用必定造成讯号传输不良,且不易查出造成不良原因,即使使用之前发现该***不良,由于扣臂的夹持力,要将卡模组取出并重装也费时费力。因此,有必要对其改进。
【发明内容】
本发明主要目的在于提供一种用于承接侧缘部具有凹口的卡模组的电连接器,当卡模组未***至预期位置并向下旋转而安装至该连接器的过程中能被及时止挡,以便正确安装,从而保证卡模组安装至正确位置。
为达上述目的,本发明采用如下技术方案:电连接器包括设有纵长狭槽的基座、定位于狭槽边侧的若干端子及一对定位在基座相对两末端的扣臂,每个扣臂在其一端设有卡持卡模组的锁扣部和与卡模组凹口相应设置的固持部,所述固持部上方贴合有止挡片。
与现有技术相比,本发明电连接器的固持部与卡模组凹口相对应,可保证卡模组的正确***,同时贴合在固持片上的止挡片可加强扣臂的强度。

【具体实施方式】
请参阅图1、图6所示,本发明电连接器5包括基座1、收容于基座1的若干导电端子2及一对定位在基座相对两末端的扣臂3。
请参阅图1所示,基座1沿其纵长方向设有狭槽10,狭槽10的上下两侧臂分别收容端子2;请参阅图5、图6所示,安装于电连接器5中的卡模组4包括接入端40、底面43、顶面44及相对的两侧缘41,且两侧缘41分别具有一凹口42,凹口42具有一内侧缘420。
请参阅图2、图3及图4所示,扣臂3包括一体成型在基座1上的塑胶件30及安装在基座1和塑胶件30上的金属件31,其中塑胶件30包括弹性臂300、锁扣部301和固持部302,弹性臂300一端与基座1末端一体成型连接,另一端具有锁扣部301及邻近锁扣部301的固持部302,且锁扣部301位于固持部302与基座1之间;锁扣部301具有一顶面3010、一导引面3011和一可扣持卡模组4于最终接入位置的扣持面3012,导引面3011最高点在30110处;固持部302包括一顶面3020,且该顶面3020与锁扣部导引面3011最高点30110持平且高于导引面3011其他部分,且该顶面3020在向卡模组收容侧6延伸的方向上超出导引面3011最高点30110所在的位置,固持部302于其顶面3020还开设有一凹槽3021。金属件31包括主体部310、从主体部的一端处延伸的接合部312及从主体部的另一端处延伸的外固持片314、内固持片315、导引片316和止挡片317;接合部312一端延伸出焊接垫片313,并于另一端设有可与基座1配合的倒刺311;外固持片314从主体部310的另一端下侧延伸而成,以限制塑胶件30向卡模组收容侧的偏移量;内固持片315在与外固持片314相邻的位置向卡模组收容侧延伸后向下延伸形成,以限制塑胶件30向远离卡模组收容侧的偏移量;导引片316相对于内固持片315从主体部310的另一侧斜向下延伸,并与锁扣部301配合以共同移动,且其尺寸和构形与锁扣部导引面3011相匹配并沿垂直方向遮覆于锁扣部301上方;止挡片317在与导引片316相邻的位置向卡模组收容侧延伸而形成,该止挡片顶面3170与导引片316最高点3160持平且高于导引片316其他部分,且该顶面3170在向卡模组收容侧6延伸的方向上超出导引片316最高点3160所在的位置,且该止挡片贴合在固持部302的顶面3020。
请参阅图1、图5及图6所示,当将卡模组4安装至电连接器5上时,首先卡模组4以倾斜姿势将其接入端40***到基座1狭槽10内,然后卡模组4向下旋转安装;当卡模组4***端40初始***位置未到预期位置时,向下旋转安装中卡模组4靠近凹口内侧缘420的底面43将首先与贴合在固持部302上的止挡片317抵触,止挡片317的抵持使卡模组侧缘41不能与导引片316接触,导引片316不能起到导引作用,扣臂3也不会向两外侧张开,导致卡模组4不能继续向下旋转安装;将上述初始***位置的卡模组4进一步***至预期位置时,向下旋转安装中卡模组4的侧缘41将首先与导引片316接触,并在其导引作用下卡模组4继续向下运动,同时,卡模组凹口42通过止挡片317,两相对侧缘41则向外推压相应的扣臂3;当旋转安装至水平位置时,卡模组侧缘41脱离导引片316及锁扣部301的水平弹性夹持,同时,扣臂3回弹,扣持面3012与卡模组4顶面44贴合从而将卡模组4卡持于最终接入位置,固持部302伸入至卡模组4的凹口42中,用于限制卡模组4相对于连接器5前后移动。
诚然,本发明电连接器还包括其他实施方式,如:止挡片可不必贴合在固持部的顶面而悬空设置于固持部的顶面上方,且止挡片顶面与导引片最高点持平,同时,卡模组卡持于最终接入位置时,固持部伸入至卡模组的凹口中,用于限制卡模组相对于连接器前后移动;止挡片顶面与导引片最高点持平且高于导引片其他部分,且该顶面在向卡模组收容侧延伸的方向上超出导引片最高点所在的位置可较好实现本发明之目的,当止挡片顶面稍低于导引片最高点或者高于导引片最高点时,本发明之目的亦可实现;金属件在本发明中主要功能为增强扣臂强度、保护锁扣部和固持部,同时,保证固持部与锁扣部邻近设置,固持部顶面与锁扣部导引面最高点持平且高于导引面其他部分,且该顶面在向卡模组收容侧延伸的方向上超出导引面最高点所在的位置,使卡模组在未***至预期位置时不能通过固持部而到达最终安装位置,而卡模组在***至预期位置时能顺利通过固持部有锁扣部扣持在最终接入位置;固持部亦可以其他形状表现,只要能使靠近锁扣部的固持部顶面与锁扣部导引面最高点持平且高于导引面其他部分,同时该顶面在向卡模组收容侧延伸的方向上超出导引面最高点所在的位置即可。

Claims (6)

1. 一种用于承接侧缘具有凹口的卡模组的电连接器,其包括设有纵长狭槽的基座、定位于狭槽边侧的若干端子及一对定位在基座相对两末端的扣臂,其中每个扣臂在其一端设有卡持卡模组的锁扣部和与卡模组凹口相应设置的固持部,其特征在于:所述固持部上方贴合有止挡片,所述锁扣部设置在固持部和基座之间,所述锁扣部与固持部位置邻近,所述锁扣部具有向下倾斜的导引面,止挡片顶面与锁扣部导引面最高点持平且高于导引面其他部分,且止挡片顶面在向卡模组收容侧延伸的方向上超出导引面最高点所在位置。
2. 如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:卡模组组装于电连接器最终接入位置时,固持部收容于卡模组侧缘的相应凹口,锁扣部扣持于卡模组表面。
3. 如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:每个扣臂包括位于其边侧的金属件,且止挡片自金属件向卡模组收容侧横向延伸。
4. 如权利要求3所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述扣臂包括一体成型在所述基座上的塑胶件,金属件包括可将金属件与塑胶件结合的接合部及与电路板焊接的焊接片。
5. 如权利要求3所述的电连接器,其特征在于:金属件包括覆盖锁扣部的导引片,且其尺寸和构形上与锁扣部相匹配。
6. 如权利要求5所述的电连接器,其特征在于:固持部顶端形成凹槽。
