Abstract

背景技术
带有齿形切削刃的嵌入式刀头与有非齿形的切削刃的嵌入式刀头相比能够以更高的速度除去金属。然而,获得这个好处的代价是表面光洁度比较粗糙。为了改进表面光洁度,以与接续的嵌入式刀头的齿相对于彼此偏置或者有不同相位的方式把嵌入式刀头安装在铣刀上。
在本技术中已经公开了许多有齿形切削刃的嵌入式刀头的示例。在专利文件US 3574911;US 3636602;US 3922766;以及US 4936719种分别公开了三角形,正方形,圆形以及长方形的嵌入式刀头。
然而,使用带有齿形切削刃的嵌入式刀头的所有先有技术铣刀都有相同的问题,即,起作用的切削齿(即,齿的“齿顶”)没有被铣刀本体支承。换句话说,起作用的切削齿越过相邻的铣刀本体表面伸出。结果,在进行铣削操作的过程中起作用的切削齿容易折断。
进而,所有先有技术的带有齿形切削刃的嵌入式刀头都为平的厚板形式,有相对的平的平行倾角和基底表面。当把这样的先有技术嵌入式刀头安装在一个嵌入式刀头凹穴中时,嵌入式刀头的平的基底表面支靠着一个嵌入式刀头凹穴的对应的平的支承表面。借助于一个夹紧装置把嵌入式刀头保持在嵌入式刀头凹穴中,该夹紧装置向下压在嵌入式刀头的倾斜表面上。这样的布置不特别坚固,在铣削操作过程中作用在嵌入式刀头上的扭曲力矩将会使得嵌入式刀头旋转,离开它的初始位置。
本发明的目的是提供一种铣刀和用于它的嵌入式刀头,该嵌入式刀头具有齿形的切削刃,这种铣刀和嵌入式刀头明显地克服了上面提到的缺点。
发明内容
按照本发明提供有一种铣刀,它包括具有至少一个切削部分的一个铣刀本体,把一个具有齿形切削刃(或边缘)的可更换的嵌入式刀头紧固到该切削部分上,所述至少一个切削部分具有齿形外表面,并且所述嵌入式刀头具有对准的相匹配的齿形周边表面。
按照本发明的一个优选实施例,所述至少一个切削部分包括一个具有大致环形的支承表面的嵌入式刀头凹穴,一个凹进部分由该支承表面向下延伸到基底表面,带有一个在它们之间延伸的周边壁。
嵌入式刀头包括一个上倾斜表面,一个中间支靠表面,以及在它们之间延伸的齿形周边表面,齿形周边表面在齿形的切削刃处与上倾斜表面相交,一个突伸部由中间支靠表面向下延伸,该突伸部包括一个在中间支靠表面与底表面之间延伸的外表面。
最好,突伸部的外表面包括通过突伸部角部彼此连接起来的四个平的突伸部侧表面,并且,凹进部分的周边壁包括通过凹进部分角部彼此连接起来的四个凹进部分侧表面。
按照本发明的一个优选实施例,一个螺纹孔由凹进部分的基底表面向下延伸,一个通孔在嵌入式刀头的上倾斜表面与底表面之间延伸,并且一个保持螺丝穿过该通孔,且以螺纹与螺纹孔接合,因此将突伸部定位在凹进部分中,并且把嵌入式刀头固定到嵌入式刀头凹穴上。
按照本发明,嵌入式刀头的中间支靠表面支靠着嵌入式刀头凹穴的支承表面。
最好,两个相邻的平的突伸部侧表面支靠着凹进部分的两个相邻的凹进部分侧表面。
进而最好,在突伸部的底表面与凹进部分的基底表面之间有一定间隙。
更进一步最好,在每个凹进部分角部与每个相邻的突伸部角部之间有一定间隙。

具体实施方式
首先参见图1到4。铣刀10具有一个转动轴线A,并包括一个铣刀本体12,该铣刀本体具有一个后柄部14和邻近铣刀本体12的前表面18的五个切削部分16。每个切削部分16具有紧固到其上的一个可更换的且可分度的嵌入式刀头20。每个嵌入式刀头20具有包括齿顶22’和齿槽22”的齿形周边表面22,并且,铣刀本体12的每个切削部分16具有包括齿顶24’和齿槽24”的齿形外表面24。每个嵌入式刀头20的齿形周边表面22与要把该嵌入式刀头紧固到其上的切削部分16的齿形外表面24相匹配、并且与这些外表面对准。换句话说,对于紧固到一个给定的切削部分16上的一个给定的嵌入式刀头20来说,嵌入式刀头20的齿形周边表面22的齿顶22’和齿槽22”与该切削部分16的齿形外表面24的齿顶24’和齿槽24”对准。
每个切削部分16包括一个嵌入式刀头凹穴26和一个碎屑槽28。一个给定的切削部分16的碎屑槽28确定一个相邻的切削部分16的后壁30。切削部分16的齿形外表面24在嵌入式刀头凹穴26与后壁30之间延伸,并且与铣刀本体12的柄部14汇合。
嵌入式刀头凹穴26包括一个大致环形的支承表面32,以及由该支承表面32向下延伸的一个凹进部分34。凹进部分34包括一个在支承表面32与凹进部分34的一个基底表面38之间延伸的周边壁36。凹进部分34的周边壁36包括由凹进部分角部42相互连接起来的四个平面的内侧表面40。凹进部分34的基底表面38具有一个带有螺纹的孔44,该孔具有一个轴线B。螺纹孔44与基底表面38大致垂直,并且由该基底表面向下延伸,并且,螺纹孔44关于凹进部分34的几何中心C偏心地设置。

如在图8中最清楚地看到的那样,当嵌入式刀头20固定在凹进部分34中时,嵌入式刀头20的中间支靠表面48支靠着切削部分16中的嵌入式刀头凹穴26的支承表面32。因为每个嵌入式刀头20的齿形周边表面22与要把该嵌入式刀头固定到其上的切削部分16的齿形外表面24相匹配,并与这些外表面对准,所以,嵌入式刀头20的每个齿顶22’完全被切削部分16的支承表面32的一个对应的齿顶24’支承。这增强了嵌入式刀头20的强度,耐用性和稳定性。
为了确保嵌入式刀头20的中间支靠表面48与嵌入式刀头凹穴26的支承表面32的支靠关系,当把嵌入式刀头20紧密地固定到嵌入式刀头凹穴26中时,在突伸部52的底表面56与凹进部分34的基底表面38之间有一个间隙66。
如在图9中所示,凹进部分34具有四个角部,一个后内凹进角部42’r,一个后外凹进角部42”r,一个前内凹进角部42’f和一个前外凹进角部42”f。关于如在图9中所示的嵌入式刀头凹穴26与嵌入式刀头20的取向,将四个凹进部分侧表面40称为后凹进侧表面40r,前凹进侧表面40f,内凹进侧表面40i和外凹进侧表面40o。类似地,将四个突伸部侧表面58称为后突伸部侧表面58r,前突伸部侧表面58f,内突伸部侧表面58i和外突伸部侧表面58o。由于螺纹孔44相对于凹进部分34的几何中心C偏心地设置,所以,当把嵌入式刀头20牢固地保持在嵌入式刀头凹穴26中时,把该***件20由前外凹进角部42”f朝向后内凹进角部42’r推离开。结果,那对相邻的后和内凹进侧表面40r,40i分别与那对相邻的后和内突伸部侧表面58r,58I支靠着。在这种布置的条件下,很好地支承着嵌入式刀头20,承受切削作用力,并且,可以精确地把***件20固定在铣刀10的切削部分16中。如可以在图9中看到的那样,在前凹进侧表面40f与前突伸部侧表面58f之间以及在外凹进侧表面40o与外突伸部侧表面58o之间存在间隙。突伸部角部60或者被去角,或者具有比凹进部分角部42大的曲率半径,所以,在任何时刻在每个凹进部分角部42与每个相邻的突伸部角部60之间存在着间隙。
使接续的切削部分16关于螺纹孔44的轴线B稍微旋转一点,从而接续的切削部分16的齿形外表面24的齿一起与接续的嵌入式刀头20的齿形周边表面22相对于彼此具有一定的偏置,或者相位偏移,为的是与完全没有偏置的情况下相比可以获得更好的表面光洁度。
虽然已经在一定的特殊程度上描述了本发明,但是应该理解到:可以做出多种改变和改进,比如在嵌入式刀头的倾斜表面上的多种碎屑粉碎设计,而不偏离在后面提出权利要求的本发明的范围。
Claims (14)
1.一种铣刀(10),它包括具有至少一个切削部分(16)的铣刀本体(12),具有齿形切削刃(50)的可替换的嵌入式刀头(20)固定到所述切削部分上,所述至少一个切削部分(16)具有齿形外表面(24),并且所述嵌入式刀头具有对准的相匹配的齿形周边表面(22)。
