Abstract

本发明提供了一种用于加工深孔,但不在切削过程中产生弯曲的钻头。钻头本体(1)具有一对螺旋的切削刃(3)。切削刃(3)围绕钻头的中心(1a)以约180度的间隔在相对侧形成,而且切削刃(3)的顶部的边缘线(3a)向钻头中心(1a)凹入。当钻头的外部尺寸为7.4mm时,在边缘线(3a)和中心(1a)的正交线之间的角度为5度,中心的厚度(t)为2.96mm。而且,钻头还具有导向部(4),以防止在切割过程中发生弯曲。导向部(4)位于一个圆周的尾根侧上,该圆周与切削刃(3、3)的外端部所旋转形成的圆周相同。

深孔钻头
技术领域
本发明涉及一种用于在发动机的气缸体、曲轴等类似配件上加工深孔的钻头。
背景技术
下述的专利文献1、2和3分别公开了一种钻孔工具的一个实施例。
专利文献1公开了一种自攻螺钉,该螺钉在顶部具有钻孔切削刃,以及与钻孔切削刃相连的是端铣刀切削刃。在这篇现有技术中,钻孔切削刃的顶部被设计成使其中心部分沿轴向突起的结构型式。
专利文献2公开了一种端铣刀,该刀具本体具有第一和第二排屑槽,其中第一排屑槽设有第一周缘切削部和中心切削部,而第二排屑槽设有第二周缘切削部。在这篇现有技术中,第一和第二周缘切削部的切削边缘线被设计成向着刀具中心凹入的结构型式。
这样,钻头和端铣刀之间的区别就清楚了。钻头只在顶部具有切削刃并用于钻孔和切倒导角操作。而端铣刀具有端部切削刃和***切削刃,并可以用于钻孔、开槽以及侧面切割操作,但由于顶部空间狭小,只能用于加工浅孔。
专利文献3公开了一种钻头,其切削刃的螺旋角向柄部方向逐渐减小。在这篇现有技术中,其切削刃的顶部边缘线是凹入的。

图5示出了在气缸体11上使用传统钻头12(钻头角118度)钻取深孔的例子,其中切削刃的顶部突起。如图5a所示,气缸体1在铸造的情况下成形有一个下孔13(如脱模孔)。如果切削是在下孔13的中心线不与钻头的中心线对准情况下进行,则如图5b所示,即使切削表面所承受的切削力Fc相同,也会导致径向力Fr的不同。因此,就会造成如图5c所示的突然的孔弯曲。
另一方面,当切削刃的顶部被设计成具有凹入形状时,则由于顶部在切削时不沿着偏小孔移动而且其直线延伸性很不错,所以弯曲的情况改善很多。但是,在钻深孔时,由于径向力的不同还是会很容易产生弯曲。
发明内容
为了解决前文中所述的问题,本发明提供了一种用于加工深孔的钻头,该钻头具有螺旋形切削刃,其中切削刃的顶部的边缘线向钻头中心凹入,而且在一圆周的尾根侧上设有导向部,该圆周与钻头的顶部中切削刃的外端部所旋转形成的圆周相同,切削刃与根据旋转方向位于前侧的导向部之间的角度比切削刃与根据旋转方向位于尾根侧的导向部之间的角度大。
这样,通过设置导向部,钻头在包括切削刃在内的四个点处受到支撑,因此,在加工深孔时出现的弯曲就会得到控制。还可以使导向部具有菱形边缘。
而且,为了改进不沿着偏小孔移动的钻头的直线延伸性能,希望切削刃的顶部的凹角在0-10度选取,例如,约为5度。
进而,标准的钻头中心的厚度在具有一总体外部尺寸为7.4mm(=D)时为1.48mm或更小(0.2D)。然而,在这种情况下,中心厚度克服或者受到在加工深孔时径向力的影响,所以很容易产生弯曲。因此,需要将中心厚度增加到2.22mm(0.3D)或更多,例如,约为2.96mm(0.4D)。

具体实施方式
下面将结合附图描述本发明的优选实施例。图1为本发明用于加工深孔的钻头总体视图。图2为本发明用于加工深孔的钻头的顶部的放大视图,图3为本发明用于加工深孔的钻头的顶部的端视图。
一个用于加工深孔的钻头包括钻头本体1和柄部2。钻头本体1具有一对螺旋形切削刃3。切削刃3围绕钻头的中心1a以约180度的间隔在相对侧形成,而且切削刃3的顶部的边缘线向钻头中心1a凹入。在边缘线3a(外端部内的切削刃3的边缘线)和与中心1a的正交线之间的角度为5度。如图所示,中心厚度(t)为2.96mm(0.4D)。
本发明的钻头还设有一导向部4以避免在切削过程中发生弯曲。导向部4位于一个圆周的尾根侧上,该圆周与切削刃3、3的外端部所旋转过的圆周相同。这样,就可以在切削刃3、3和导向部4、4四点支撑的情况下进行稳定的切削操作。
图4显示了与图3类似的另一个实施例的视图。在本实施例中,金刚石刃5、5位于导向部4、4的顶部,从而形成能够转向扩孔操作的结构。
工业应用性说明如下:
如上文所示,本发明的钻头具有导向部,使得钻头具有自导向功能,并且切削刃的顶部向中心凹入,使其不是沿着下孔从而进行光滑直线延伸。而且,由于中心厚度的增加提高了钻头的刚性,所以在曲轴、气缸体或其它类似工件上加工深孔时,即使下孔的中心与钻头的中心发生偏离,也能够避免由于径向力不同所造成的弯曲的发生。

Claims (5)

1.一种用于加工深孔的钻头,该钻头具有螺旋形切削刃,其中切削刃的顶部的边缘线向钻头中心凹入,而且在一圆周的尾根侧上设有导向部,该圆周与钻头的顶部中切削刃的外端部所旋转形成的圆周相同,切削刃与根据旋转方向位于前侧的导向部之间的角度比切削刃与根据旋转方向位于尾根侧的导向部之间的角度大。
2.如权利要求1所述的用于加工深孔的钻头,其特征在于:切削刃的凹入顶部的凹角在0-10度之间。
3.如权利要求1或2所述的用于加工深孔的钻头,其特征在于:当钻头的外部尺寸为D时,钻头的中心厚度为0.3D或更大。
4.如权利要求1或2所述的用于加工深孔的钻头,其特征在于:所述导向部具有金刚石边缘。
5.如权利要求3所述的用于加工深孔的钻头,其特征在于:所述导向部具有金刚石边缘。
