Abstract
本发明涉及一种用于制造纵缝焊接的成螺旋线式波纹金属管的方法,其中一从带材储存装置中拉出的金属带被成形为具有纵向缝的管,纵向缝被焊封并优选通过一偏心于且倾斜于管轴线支承在可旋转的轴头上而可自由旋转的成波工具而产生波纹,该成波工具在管表面上滚压,其中金属带和未成波纹的金属管通过一在焊接点与成波装置之间设置的牵引装置向前移动,一紧接在成波装置(6)的后面的第二牵引装置(8)夹住波纹管(7),其牵引速度小于由成波盘的倾斜度和轴头的转速产生的波纹管(7)的推进速度。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及按照权利要求1的前序部分所述的制造纵缝焊接的螺旋线式波纹金属管的方法。
背景技术
由DE-AS 1 086 314已知一种这种类型的方法。
利用该已知方法只能制造具有较浅的波纹的管子。其原因在于,波谷的宽度不可能小于盘式成波工具的厚度。在大螺距,即在大的波谷间距的情况下,波深大约与成波工具***到光滑管中的深度相同。现在如果我们想大大地减小螺距,则在成波工具***光滑管中时,波峰同时被拉入到光滑管中。由此在最大的波深与螺距之间形成尺寸的关联。即使选择极薄的成波工具,其也不一定导致窄小的螺距,因为由于管材料的韧性,波谷的宽度存在一下限。因此该已知的方法鉴于高的挠性而受到了限制。
为了提高波纹金属管的挠性,人们已尝试将成波纹的金属管在制造以后紧接着压缩(DE-PS 493 930)。
由DE 24 00 842 C已知,对管子的波纹施加与成波力无关的纵轴向压力。这时根据波纹夹住管子。
为此采用的装置具有一紧接在成波装置后面的环形工具,该工具具有可变的直径用以施加摩擦力并由此施加纵轴向的压应力。该方法的缺点在于,在整个的制造过程中不能实现施加高的均匀的摩擦力,其结果是沿管的长度方向形成不均匀的波纹。
发明内容
本发明的目的在于提供一种方法,利用该方法可以制造具有较深波纹或较小螺距的管子,其中波纹沿管的长度方向形状相同。
这个目的通过权利要求1的特征中所包括的特性来达到。
本发明的其他有利的实施形式包括于诸从属权利要求中。
特别优选的是将本发明的方法用于塑料制的光波导的外壳,该光波导在汽车中用来传送信号。

具体实施方式
1表示卷筒,由其上拉出待成形的金属带2。在两对未示出的圆片刀之间将该带切成定尺寸并在变形阶段3成形为长缝管。借助于焊接装置4,优选电弧焊接装置或激光焊接装置将长缝管的带边缘相互焊接在一起,现在将封闭的而仍为光滑的管由牵引装置5夹住并送到成波工具6。作为牵引装置优选采用所谓弹簧卡头牵引装置,如由德国专利1164355已知的。由成波工具6轧出的波纹管7可直接由在成波装置6后面的带式牵引装置8夹住并达到卷筒9。
成波装置6如由开头所述的DE 1 086 314中已知,它包括一成波工具,其倾斜一小于90°的角度并且偏心于管纵轴线支承在旋转的轴头上而可自由旋转。该成波工具为一环形盘,该环形盘以其内表面在光滑管上滚压并且由于其偏心的支承而压入管壁并产生连续的螺旋线式波纹。波纹管7离开成波装置的速度取决于成波工具相对于管纵轴线的倾斜度、成波工具的内径与波纹管在波谷区测定的外径之比值和轴头的转速。
或者,也可以采用2001年5月31日申请的德国专利申请101 26399.6中所描述的那种成波装置。
波纹管7由带式牵引装置8牢固地夹住。为此带式牵引装置8包括两个由带轮驱动的环形带,这些带由弹性材料如橡胶组成。这样的带式牵引装置是已知的。
按照本发明,带式牵引装置8的牵引速度小于波纹管7的速度,后者是波纹管7由成波装置6排出的速度。成波装置6与带式牵引装置8间的距离应该尽可能地小,以便防止波纹管7的横向挠曲。
如果由于结构上的原因所述距离不允许减到要求的尺寸,则可以在成波装置6与带式牵引装置8之间设置一个不再示出的管子,成波纹的管7穿过该管子。该导向管子的内径必须大于成波纹的管7的外径。其内径取决于波纹管7的镦粗程度并因此取决于波纹管7的外径。
波纹管7从成波装置6中排出的速度在一确定的管型中在预定的波纹管7的波深和波纹螺距时只取决于轴头的转速。
通过带式牵引装置8的牵引速度的适当选择,由此可以在宽的限度内加大波深并同时减小波纹螺距。
这样的效果在具有小的弹性模量的金属中比具有高弹性模量的金属中可更好地观测到。很好地适用于本发明的方法的是铝和铜,钢和高级合金钢由于高的回弹性能不大适用。
Claims (5)
1.一种用于制造纵缝焊接的成螺旋线式波纹金属管的方法,其中一从带材储存装置中拉出的金属带被成形为具有纵向缝的管,纵向缝被焊封并优选通过一偏心于且倾斜于管轴线支承在可旋转的轴头上而可自由旋转的成波工具而产生波纹,该成波工具在管表面上滚压,其中金属带和未成波纹的金属管通过一在焊接点与成波装置之间设置的牵引装置向前移动,其特征在于,紧接在成波装置(6)的后面的第二牵引装置(8)夹住波纹管(7)并且第二牵引装置(8)的牵引速度小于由成波盘的倾斜度和轴头的转速产生的波纹管(7)的推进速度。
2.按照权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,第二牵引装置包括两个环形的由可弹性变形的材料组成的驱动带。
3.按照权利要求1或2所述的方法,其特征在于,在成波装置(6)的前面夹住未成波纹的管的牵引装置为一所谓弹簧卡头牵引装置。
4.按照权利要求1至3之一项所述的方法,其特征在于,将一纵向延伸的条状物品***仍敞开的长缝管内,其外径等于或小于波纹管在第二牵引装置后面的内径。
5.按照权利要求4所述的方法,其特征在于,条状物品为一塑料制的光波导。
