发明背景
本发明涉及用于将物体固定到皮肤上到附着件。
已知一种具有一组刺入角质层的微针的板。采用制造计算机芯片的蚀刻法由硅制成该微针。
发明概述
本发明的附着件由塑料树脂构成,包括底层,一组许多细微的、一体的刺入皮肤塑料件由该底层延伸,该塑料件具有一个或多个倒刺,该倒刺进入并固定于皮肤内并阻止附着件的移动。附着件具有这样的结构,使得附着件牢牢地固定在皮肤上,不会刺得过深而带来疼痛和不适。
根据本发明的一个方面,由塑料树脂构成的皮肤附着件包括片形背板和一组由背板一体延伸的皮肤刺入件。皮肤刺入件具有刺入表皮层的结构,并且其所具有的尺寸可避免刺疼表皮层以下的神经。至少许多皮肤刺入件中的每个刺入件包括至少一个阻挡倒刺,该阻挡倒刺由皮肤刺入件的外表面延伸。倒刺具有配合以阻止皮肤附着件离开皮肤的形状。

优选实施例描述
参照图1和2,由塑料构成的皮肤附着件10包括背板12和多列平行一体模塑的尖突起或尖件14,该尖件14由背板12延伸以刺入表皮16。每个皮肤刺入件14包括锥形体18,锥形体18具有一个或多个不连续倒刺20,倒刺20由锥形体18延伸以将皮肤附着件10固定在表皮16上。
选定刺入件14的长度,使得刺入件14不会刺入皮肤过深而接触到位于表皮层以下的神经,从而引起明显的疼痛和不适,但是刺入件14长得足以彼此配合以支持皮肤。因为刺入件14的尺寸和该深度的神经之间有间隙,所以可以设定刺入件14的大小以延伸到皮肤角质层以下的皮肤内。例如,再参照图3A,塑料件14的长度L大约为0.012英寸。由于表皮厚度随着病人的年龄、皮肤上的部位和性别而变化,因此可以根据特殊用途来选择刺入件14的长度。
锥形部18由靠近底部22的较大直径处至远处尖端逐渐变细。刺入件14的锥形和尖端使其容易刺入表皮16。底部22的直径要选的足够大,以便有助于防止刺入件14由背板12上折断,同时限制在表皮16的外表面16a中形成的开口大小。例如,锥形18的底部直径大约为0.003英寸。背板12的厚度范围约为0.003英寸至0.008英寸,以使部件10具有足够的操作特性。
皮肤刺入塑料件14可以不为锥形。例如,刺入件14可以呈金字塔形、四面体形或其横截面可以为椭圆或正方形,向其末端的尖端逐渐变细。刺入件14的直径可以阶梯状逐渐减小,而不是向末端逐渐变细。无论选择何种特殊形状,刺入件14都包括尖端24以轻松刺入组织。
参照图4A和4B,所示的刺入件14具有两个分离的倒刺20a、20b,用于将刺入件14保持在皮肤内,尽管可以在锥形部28上设置几个或多个倒刺以具有理想保持力特性。可以选择倒刺20的位置以利用角质层以下皮肤部位的较大弹性来提供更大的保持力。例如,倒刺20a具有上表面23a,该上表面与底板22之间的距离d1大约为0.008英寸,倒刺20b的上表面23b与底板22之间的距离d2大约为0.0095英寸。
参照图4,图4是图3B中A部的放大视图,倒刺20a、20b为大致的半金字塔形,每个倒刺具有平的上表面23a和斜侧面28a、28b,上表面23a垂直于刺入件14的纵轴A。倒刺20a和20b的长度约为0.0001英寸、厚度t约为0.0001英寸(图3d),以大约72°的α角向尖端逐渐变细。
在使用中,由于皮肤具有弹性,部件10通过由皮肤围绕倒刺而将皮肤固定到皮肤表面16a上。为了提高部件10在皮肤上的保持力,如图5所示,设置倒刺的角度。这里,倒刺20c具有斜的上表面23c。
底板12上的刺入件14的密度与使用有关。例如,在大应力的应用中,较高密度提供较好的皮肤附着,而在部件10不受到大应力的应用中,低密度能更好地避免发炎的可能性。如果密度过高,部件14会需要过大的力以刺入皮肤中。0.1英寸2面积上有400个刺入件14的密度提供良好的皮肤附着,而不需要过大的刺入力。在这种情况下,刺入件14最好间隔大约0.003英寸的间隙d(图1)。
部件10和其刺入件14最好由热塑的、生物相容性聚合物构成,其具有的硬度足以刺入皮肤,但并不易碎,而是能注入模子并保持其模塑形状。合适的聚合体例子包括尼龙、聚对苯二甲酸乙二酯和聚酯。
参照附图3C和3D,如果要求用于药品输送,则刺入件14包括在锥形部18外表面32中的纵向槽30,所示的为4个槽30,该槽提供输送药品的通道。通过将表皮屏障的厚度减小到表皮以下的血管层,刺入件14刺入表皮有利于药物输送穿过表皮。
部件10的其他用途包括将静脉导管或其他导管固定到皮肤上,如将用于腹膜透析的口固定住,这样取代缝合或蝶形阀(butterfly)或对缝合起辅助作用,充当作为暂时(bandaid)型伤口封闭以将两部分皮肤固定在一起,充当伤口覆盖,作为vetinary应用中药物自输送的输送***,在农业应用中如避免对产品有危害的捆扎带和在地用织物(geotextile)应用中,充当反应指示器,用于时间释放接种疫苗。杀菌试剂或药物可以包含于形成部件10的聚合体。
根据Fischer的US4794028中描述的原理,皮肤附着件10可以模制成连续带10’,这里通过参考而合并其内容。
例如,参照图6A-6C,模塑机40包括挤压机42,挤压机42在一对反向旋转的辊子44、46之间传送熔化的由塑料材料挤出物。辊子44是具有一组平行叠放盘48(图7B)的冷却模塑辊,其中边缘成形部50形成一排刺入件模塑腔52。辊子46是压力辊,它与模塑辊44共同作用形成连续带10’。
熔化树脂被连续挤出并采用压力辊46靠着模塑辊44而施加压力。熔化树脂被迫进入模塑腔52和辊子44、46之间以形成与背板成一体的刺入件14。在冷却后,同时在辊子上,从模塑辊44上剥下连续带10’,刺入件14在模塑腔52中受到的暂时弹性变形得以释放。
修整辊组件60安装在模塑辊44之上,使得由修整辊组件60直接上游侧的模塑辊44上取下或剥下连续带10’。修整辊组件60可以包括两个辊子,如图6A所示,或包括一个辊子,如图6B所示。张紧辊组件62产生部件10中的张力以影响带10’由模塑辊64上取下。张力辊组件62的下游侧是卷绕机,用于在卷筒66上卷绕连续带10’以供随后的运输、储存和使用。
参照图7A和7B,模塑辊44包括一系列叠放盘48,每个叠放盘48的任一侧上具有边缘成形部50。当叠放时,盘48一起形成刺入件形成腔52,刺入件14在刺入件形成腔52中形成。盘48还形成用于冷却部件10’的水通道68。
参照图7D,图7D是图7A中7D部分的放大视图,可以通过由辊子边缘蚀刻长约0.004英寸的锥形部70而形成模塑辊46的盘48。通过激光器(图7E)形成锥形部的剩余尖端部74,激光器中的激光80受到计算机位置调节装置的控制,用于从盘上取出材料以形成尖端部。还可采用激光器形成倒刺压痕部20a’和20b’。还可以控制激光以形成锥形部18中的槽30。模塑辊最好由铍铜构成,在模塑中其温度受到控制,使得在使用中树脂不会冷却的过快。
图8显示模塑腔的另一个实施例,其中的第一盘48形成如上所述的边缘成形部50,第二盘48’形成边缘成形部50’,边缘成形部50’具有在边缘成形部50的尖端92之前终止的尖端94。因此,部件12的末端24由尖端92限定。
虽然所描述的皮肤附着件10具有平行的多排刺入件14,但是模塑辊可以这样设置,使得多排刺入件14在背板12上偏移或分布。还可以这样形成刺入件14,使得其纵轴不垂直于背板12或者以各种相对于背板12的角度分布。虽然足够的刺入件14应该包括倒刺20以便提供皮肤上的所期望的可靠角度,但不是所有刺入件14需要包括倒刺。

Claims (18)

1.一种塑料树脂材质的皮肤附着件,包括:
片形背板,和
一组由背板整体延伸的皮肤刺入件,该皮肤刺入件具有刺入表皮层的形状和避免与表皮层下面的神经疼痛接触的尺寸,
至少多个皮肤刺入件中的每个刺入件包括至少一个由皮肤刺入件的外表面延伸的保持倒刺,倒刺的形状可以用于配合以防止皮肤附着件脱离皮肤。
2.如权利要求1所述的皮肤附着件,其中每个皮肤刺入件包括锥形体。
3.如权利要求2所述的皮肤附着件,其中锥形体底部的直径大约为0.003英寸。
4.如权利要求1所述的皮肤附着件,其中每个皮肤刺入件包括尖端。
5.如权利要求1所述的皮肤附着件,其中每个皮肤刺入件的长度大约为0.012英寸。
