Description
Claims (34)
- (1)一种背景光装置,包括:一个折射率为n1的楔型光导,有一个顶面、一个底面和一个侧面;一个把光传播到所述的楔型光导的所述侧面的光源;一个具有折射率n2的第一光透射层,折射率n2比所述折射率n1小,第一光透射层有一个顶面和一个底面,其中所述第一传输层的所述顶面与所述的楔型光导的所述底面相连;以及光偏转层,顶面附着在所述第一光透射层的所述底面上,用于将来自所述第一光透射层的入射光偏转向所述楔型光导的所述顶面。
- (2)依据权利要求1的背景光装置,其中所述楔型光导的所述折射率n1的范围是1.4到2.0,而所述第一光透射层的所述折射率n2的范围是1.2到1.4。
- (3)依据权利要求2的背景光装置,其中所述楔型光导的所述折射率n1是1.49,而所述第一光透射层的所述折射率n2是1.3。
- (4)依据权利要求1的背景光装置,其中所述楔型光导的所述顶面和所述底面之间的顶角范围是0.1到3度。
- (5)依据权利要求2的背景光装置,其中所述光偏转层包括折射率和所述楔型光导的所述折射率n1基本上相同的第二光透射层以及许多的反射镜,其中每个反射镜具有一个相对于所述光反射层的所述顶面倾斜选择角度的反射面,以便将来自所述第一传输层的所述入射光通过所述第二传输层反射向沿所述楔型光导的所述顶面法线方向的光路,其中所述第二光透射层连接到所述第一光透射层的所述底面,而且所述第二光透射层和所述的许多反射镜形成一个整体。
- (6)依据权利要求2的背景光装置,其中所述光偏转层是许多反射镜,每个反射镜具有一个相对于所述光反射层的所述顶面倾斜选择角度的反射面,以便将来自所述第一传输层的所述入射光反射向沿着所述楔型光导的所述顶面法线方向的光路,其中所述第一传输层和所述许多反射镜形成一个整体。
- (7)依据权利要求5或6的背景光装置,其中所述许多反射镜包括其中一些具有倾斜所述选择角度的反射面的反射镜、其中一些具有倾斜角大于所述选择角度的反射面的反射镜、和其中一些具有倾斜角小于所述选择角度的反射面的反射镜。
- (8)依据权利要求7的背景光装置,其中所述光源是荧光灯,而且每个所述反射镜的所述光反射面连续地在与所述荧光灯的中心线平行的方向上延伸。
- (9)一种背景光装置,包括:一个具有折射率n1的楔型光导,有一个顶面、一个底面和一个侧面;用于将光传播到所述楔型光导的所述侧面的光源;一个具有折射率n2的光透射层,折射率n2比所述的折射率n1小,光透射层有一个顶面和一个底面,其中所述的光透射层的所述底面与所述楔型光导的所述顶面相连;以及许多附着在所述光透射层的所述顶面的棱镜,用于将来自所述光透射层的入射光传播向沿所述光透射层的所述顶面的法线方向的光路。
- (10)依据权利要求9的背景光装置,其中所述楔型光导的所述折射率n1的范围是1.4到2.0,而所述光透射层的所述折射率n2的范围是1.2到1.4。
- (11)依据权利要求10的背景光装置,其中素数楔型光导的所述折射率n1是1.49,而所述光透射层的所述折射率n2是1.3。
- (12)一种背景光装置,包括:一个具有折射率n1的楔型光导,有一个顶面、一个底面以及一个侧面;用于将光传播到所述楔型光导的所述侧面的光源;一个具有折射率n2的第一光透射层,折射率n2比所述折射率n1小,第一光透射层有一个顶面和一个底面,其中所述第一光透射层的所述顶面附着在所述楔型光导的所述底面上;以及顶面附着到所述第一光透射层的所述底面上的光偏转层,用于将来自所述第一光透射层的入射光分色和将所述分色光传播向所述楔型光导的所述顶面。
- (13)依据权利要求12的背景光装置,其中所述楔型光导的所述折射率n1的范围是1.4到2.0,而所述第一光透射层的所述折射率n2的范围是1.2到1.4。
- (14)依据权利要求13的背景光装置,其中所述楔型光导的所述折射率n1是1.49,而所述第一光透射层的所述折射率n2是1.3。
- (15)依据权利要求13的背景光装置,其中所述光偏转层包括一个折射率与所述楔型光导的折所述射率n1基本上相同的第二光透射层和一个反射衍射光栅,该光栅用来将来自所述第一光透射层通过所述第二光透射层的入射光分成红色、绿色和蓝色光,和用来分别沿着三条光路传播绿色光、蓝色光和红色光,其中三条光路之一与所述楔型光导的所述顶面法线平行,而其余两条光路与所述的一条光路分开,而且所述第二光透射层和所述反射衍射光栅形成一个整体。
- (16)依据权利要求13的背景光装置,其中所述光偏转层是反射衍射光栅,用于将来自所述第一光透射层的入射光分成红、绿和蓝色光,以及用于分别沿着三条光路传播绿色光、蓝色光和红色光,其中三条光路之一与所述楔型光导的所述顶面法线平行,而其余两条光路与所述的一条光路分开,而且所述第一光透射层和所述反射衍射光栅形成一个整体。
- (17)一种液晶显示器LCD装置,包括:一个LCD面板,包括上透明基片、下透明基片、以及填充在所述上透明基片和所述下透明基片之间的液晶材料;与所述上透明基片相邻的光散射层;以及与所述下透明基片相邻的背景光装置;其中所述背景光装置包括:折射率为n1的楔型光导,有一个顶面、一个底面和一个侧面;用来将光传播到所述楔型光导的所述侧面的光源;一个折射率n2比所述折射率n1小的第一光透射层,有一个顶面和一个底面,其中所述第一光透射层的所述顶面连接到所述楔型光导的所述底面上;和一个顶面连接到所述第一光透射层的所述底面上的光偏转层,用来将来自所述第一光透射层的所述入射光通过所述楔型光导的所述顶面偏转向所述LCD面板。
- (18)依据权利要求17的LCD装置,其中所述楔型光导的所述折射率n1的范围是1.4到2.0,而所述第一光透射层的所述折射率n2的范围是1.2到1.4。
- (19)依据权利要求18的LCD装置,其中所述楔型光导的所述折射率n1是1.49,而所述第一光透射层的所述折射率n2是1.3。
- (20)依据权利要求18的LCD装置,其中彩色滤光片形成在所述上透明基片的内表面上。
- (21)依据权利要求18的LCD装置,其中所述光偏转层包括一折射率与所述楔型光导的所述折射率n1基本上相等的第二光透射层和许多的反射镜,每个反射镜具有相对于所述光偏转层的顶面倾斜选择角度的反射面,以便将来自所述第一光透射层的所述入射光通过所述第二光透射层反射向沿着所述楔型光导的所述顶面的法线方向的光路上,其中所述第二光透射层连接到所述第一光透射层的所述底面,而且所述第二光透射层和所述许多反射镜形成一个整体。
- (22)依据权利要求18的LCD装置,其中所述光反射层是许多反射镜,每个反射镜具有一个相对于所述光反射层的所述顶面倾斜选择角度的反射面,以便将来自所述第一光透射层的所述入射光反射向沿着所述楔型光导的所述顶面的法线方向的光路,其中所述第一光透射层和所述许多反射镜形成一个整体。
- (23)一种LCD装置,包括:一个LCD面板,包括上透明基片、下透明基片、和填充在所述上透明基片和所述下透明基片之间的液晶材料;与所述上透明基片相邻的光散射层;以及与所述下透明基片相邻的背景光装置;其中所述背景光装置包括:具有折射率n1的楔型光波导,有一个顶面和一个底面以及一个侧面;一个用来将光传播到所述楔型光导的所述侧面的光源;一个折射率n2比所述折射率n1小的光透射层,有一个顶面和一个底面,其中所述光透射层的所述底面连接到所述楔型光导的所述顶面上;和许多的连接到所述光透射层的所述顶面上的棱镜,用于将来自所述光透射层的所述入射光传播向沿着所述光透射层的所述顶面的法线方向的光路上。
- (24)依据权利要求23的LCD装置,其中所述楔型光导的所述折射率n1的范围是1.4到2.0,而所述光透射层的所述折射率n2的范围是1.2到1.4。
- (25)依据权利要求24的LCD装置,其中所述楔型光导的所述折射率n1是1.49,而所述光透射层的所述折射率n2是1.3。
- (26)一种LCD装置,包括:LCD面板,包括上透明基片、下透明基片、和填充在所述上透明基片和所述下透明基片之间的液晶材料;邻近所述上透明基片的光散射层;和临近所述下透明基片的背景光装置;其中所述背景光装置包括:折射率为n1的楔型光导,有一个顶面、一个底面和一个侧面;一个用来将光传播到所述楔型光导的所述侧面的光源;一个折射率n2比所述折射率n1小的第一光透射层,有一个顶层和一个底层,其中所述第一光透射层的所述顶面连接到所述楔型光导的所述底面上;和一个光偏转层,其顶面连接到所述第一光透射层的所述底面上,用于将来自所述第一光透射层的入射光分色和用于将所述分色的光经由所述楔型光导的所述顶面传播向所述LCD面板。
- (27)依据权利要求26的LCD装置,其中所述楔型光导的所述折射率n1的范围是1.4到2.0,而所述第一光透射层的所述折射率n2的范围是1.2到1.4。
- (28)依据权利要求27的LCD装置,其中所述楔型光导的所述折射率n1是1.49,而所述第一光透射层的所述折射率n2是1.3。
- (29)依据权利要求27的LCD装置,其中所述光偏转层包括一个折射率和所述楔型光导的所述折射率n1基本上相同的第二光透射层及一个反射衍射光栅,所述光栅用来将来自所述第一光透射层通过所述第二传输层的入射光分成红色、绿色和蓝色光,和用来分别沿着三条光路传播绿色光、蓝色光和红色光,其中三条光路之一与所述楔型光导的所述顶面法线平行,而其余两条光路与所述的一条光路分开,而且所述第二光透射层和所述反射衍射光栅形成一个整体。
- (30)依据权利要求27的背景光装置,其中所述光偏转层是反射衍射光栅,用于将来自所述第一光透射层的入射光分成红、绿和蓝色光,以及用于分别沿着三条光路传播绿色光、蓝色光和红色光,其中三条光路之一与所述楔型光导的所述顶面法线平行,而其余两条光路与所述的一条光路分开,而且所述第一光透射层和所述反射衍射光栅形成一个整体。
- (31)依据权利要求29或30的LCD装置,其中透镜阵列设置在所述下透明基片和所述楔型光导的所述顶面之间,而且所述透镜阵列将蓝色光、绿色光和红色光分别传播到所述LCD面板的三个相邻子象素上。
- (32)一种光导装置,包括:具有折射率n1的楔型光导,有一个顶面、一个底面以及一个侧面;折射率n2比所述折射率n1小的光透射层,有一个顶面和一个底面,其中所述光透射层的所述顶面连接到所述楔型光导的所述底面上;以及其顶面附着到所述光透射层的所述底面上的光偏转层,用来将来自所述光透射层的入射光偏转向所述楔型光导的所述顶面。
- (33)一种光导装置,包括:具有折射率n1的楔型光导,有一个顶面、一个底面和一个侧面。折射率n2比所述折射率n1小的光透射层,有一个顶面和一个底面,其中所述光透射层的所述底面附着在所述楔型光导的所述顶面上;和附着在所述光透射层的所述顶面上的许多棱镜,用来将来自所述光透射层的入射光传播向沿着所述光透射层的所述顶面的法线方向的光路上。
- (34)一种光导装置,包括:具有折射率n1的楔型光导,有一个顶面、一个底面和一个侧面;折射率n2比所述折射率n1小的光透射层,有一个顶面和一个底面,其中所述光透射层的所述顶面附着在所述楔型光导的所述底面上;以及一个其顶面附着在所述光透射层的所述底面上的光偏转层,用来将来自所述光透射层的入射光分色,和用于把分色的光传播向所述楔型光导的所述顶面。
