Abstract

Description

制作识别标签的方法和***
本发明涉及一种印制识别标签的方法。本发明还涉及实施该方法的***。
在工业、销售和运输的各种部门中,物品或货物是通过使用条形码来识别的。虽然该识别的方法已特别广泛地传播,但是其具有并非微小的读取错误(读取不理想或不能读取)率,这样便使目前的识别***的使用者和设计者寻求其它的具有较高性能的、安全的识别技术以取代条形码技术,或对该后者进行补充。
存在有多种识别技术,该识别技术是采用预先带有电路的标签,该电路具有射频发射芯片。该预先设置有电路的标签的缺点在于射频电路可具有毫米级的厚度,而这在使标签伸入打印机中的过程中会产生技术问题。人们设想了几条思路来克服所述缺点,特别是采用试图减小电路和芯片的厚度,或在电路的每一侧设置条带的方式。但是这些布置并不令人满意,或导致难于接受的附加成本。
本发明的目的在于通过下述方式克服所述缺点,该方式为提供一种印制识别标签的方法,其允许待获得的标签实现光读取和射频读取,同时不要求对现有的标签或射频芯片进行任何明显的改进。
所述目的是通过下述印制识别标签的方法来实现的,该方法包括下述步骤:
在标签上打印第一识别数据;和
以第二识别数据对射频芯片进行编码;
按照本发明,该方法还包括以下步骤,在打印步骤之后,在已打印的每个识别标签上附着具有射频芯片的射频电路。
于是,通过在打印标签之后,附着射频芯片,便消除了芯片难于伸入打印机中的情况。为了实现所述方法,可采用射频电路,其具有很小的厚度,并且用普通技术制造。所述方法的主要优点在于能够使已配备标签打印机的操作人员获得附加功能,该附加功能有助于改进识别的可靠性、安全性这样的性能,而后者无需完全改变所述设备。
另外,最好在附着步骤之后,实现对射频芯片进行编码的步骤。
按照特别优选的实施例形式,所述射频电路预先供应于连续条带上。在附着步骤的过程中,呈标签形式的射频电路与连续条带脱开,逐渐附着于标签的其中一个面上的预定附着区域。
最好供应于连续条带上的射频电路预先涂敷有粘接剂。但是也可这样设置从而预先在标签的附着区域涂敷粘接剂。
根据本发明***的使用人员和操作人员提出的要求和限制条件,可这样设置,从而使射频电路附着于标签的打印面上或附着与所述打印面相对的面上。
根据操作人员的要求,以条形码和射频码的形式写入的识别数据可以是相同的,基本上相同的或相互补充的。
本发明的另一方面在于提供一种印制识别标签的***,其采用本发明的方法,该***包括包括:
在标签上打印识别数据的装置;和
以识别数据对射频芯片进行编码的装置;
该***的特征在于,该***还包括在先前打印的每个标签上附着射频电路的装置,该射频电路包括射频芯片。
根据下面的描述还可得出本发明的其它特征和优点。在以非限定性实施例给出的附图中:

下面参照附图,对印制识别标签的***的实施例的特定实例进行描述。
本发明的印制标签的***1包括打印组件2和附着编码组件3。该打印组件2包括装料盒22、驱动机构23,24、打印头20、经打印的标签的排出口26,该装料盒22内部包含有以沿移出平面21运行的连续条带的形式供给的空白标签25。本打印组件2实际上与标准的标签打印机相对应。
所述附着编码组件3包括入口39,该入口39这样设置以便接纳来自打印组件2的经打印的标签;驱动机构33、34;附着装置37;射频编码单元30;将标签分开的机构38;以及经打印和编码的标签用的排出口31。
所述附着装置37包括用于连续带或条带10的卷4的存放卷轴35,该条带10包含有一系列的射频电路,而每个电路包括射频芯片;在附着之后接纳连续条带用的接纳卷轴36;附着辊40,其周缘表面41紧靠经打印的标签的移出平面32;以及驱动机构(图中未示出)。有关连续地附着标签的普通技术的描述,例如可参照美国US4717438号专利。
但是应知道,本发明的印制标签的方法与已有技术的制作防窃标签或集成电路板的工业生产方法的不同之处在于,就速度和生产率的目标而言,与连续型条带本身的所述工业生产方法相比较,在本发明中,射频电路的附着是在要求执行印制标签的命令时,按照非连续的方式进行的。
连续条带10包括由硅酮或等同材料制成的具有很小厚度的连续支承件100,一系列的射频电路110有规律地间隔开,并通过适合的粘接剂固定于该支承件上,参照图2。具有很小厚度,比如3/10mm的射频电路110本身的外表面上预先带有粘接剂涂层。这些电路一般呈柔性材料的标签形式,特别是呈矩形状,其包括振荡电路和射频芯片。
参照图3,按照本发明的方法制作的标签200包括打印区域230,其包含比如,清晰或编码识别的区域220;条形码区域210;以及附着区域240,该区域用于通过附着和胶粘方式接纳具有射频芯片的射频电路110。这样便形成识别标签,该标签使光识别和射频识别相互补充。
可基本上按照图4所示的方式,将射频电路110附着于已经过打印的标签200上。按照下述方式将连续条带10绕过附着辊40拉紧,该方式为使其附着于本身沿移出平面32拉紧的标签200上。当由连续条带所初步携带的射频电路110与标签100的外面似切线接触时,则该电路110与连续条带10脱开,该连续条带10在附着辊40以外,以相对移出平面32形成下述角度的方式拉紧,该角度大大超过连续条带的导入角度。然后,射频电路110便胶粘于用于所述目的的附着区域240中的标签200上。
还可设想将标签200的附着区域240预先胶粘,该预先的胶粘代替每个射频电路或标签的外面的预先胶粘,或作为后者方式的补充。
应注意到,根据这些标签的使用者的技术要求和/或愿望,可毫无区别地将射频电路胶粘于标签的打印面上或其反面上。另外可提供本发明的***,该***中的打印组件包括打印头,该打印头按照将标签打印于其第一面上的方式布置,另外该***中的附着组件包括附着装置,该装置按照将射频电路附着于相反面上的方式布置。此外,还可提供一种附着组件,其在移出平面的每一侧上包括两个附着装置。
在本发明的***的第一种形式的实施例中,可这样设置,从而附着编码组件是独立的,其布置在现有的打印组件的出口。在第二形式的实施例中,附着编码组件可设置于单一结构中,该结构结合了打印、附着编码功能。
带有本发明的,其内设置有射频芯片的标签的行李可通过进入分拣机,该分拣机以成整体的方式,或在其上游侧包括门式框架,该框架至少具有从所述芯片接收和读取信息的一个天线装置。所述门式框架还可包括读取不带有包括芯片的标签的行李的另一载体(条形码)的装置和/或对带有本发明的标签的行李实现双重读取(芯片和条形码)的装置。所述门式框架对比如,一个或多个分拣开关进行控制。
显然,本发明不限于所述描述的实例,在不脱离本发明的请求保护范围的情况下,可针对这些实例进行各种改进。此外,本发明不限于特定的射频芯片技术。还有,标签、打印和附着区域的相应尺寸可以是任意的。

Claims (15)

1.一种印制识别标签(200)的方法,其包括下述步骤:
在标签(200)上打印第一识别数据(230);和
以第二识别数据对射频芯片(111)进行编码;
其特征在于,该方法还包括以下步骤:
在打印步骤之后,在已打印的每个识别标签(200)上附着具有射频芯片(111)的射频电路(110)。
2.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,在附着步骤之后,实现对射频芯片(111)进行编码的步骤。
3.根据权利要求1或2中的任何一项所述的方法,其特征在于,所述射频电路(110)预先供应于连续条带(10)上。
4.根据权利要求3所述的方法,其特征在于,在附着步骤过程中,所述射频电路(110)与所述连续条带(10)脱开,并逐渐附着于标签(200)中的其中一个面上的预定附着区域(240)。
5.根据权利要求4所述的方法,其特征在于,供应于连续条带(10)上的所述射频电路(110)预先涂敷粘接剂。
6.根据权利要求4或5中的任何一项所述的方法,其特征在于,所述标签(200)中的附着区域(240)预先涂敷粘接剂。
7.根据前述任何一项权利要求所述的方法,其特征在于,所述射频电路(110)附着于标签(200)的打印面上。
8.根据权利要求1~6中的任何一项所述的方法,其特征在于,所述射频电路附着于与所述打印面相对的面上。
9.根据前述任何一项权利要求所述的方法,其特征在于,所述第一和第二信息数据基本上是相同的。
10.一种采用前述任何一项权利要求所述的方法印制识别标签的***(1),该***包括:
在标签的其中一个面上的预定打印区域(230),打印识别数据(210、220)的装置;和
以识别数据对射频芯片(111)进行编码的装置(30);
其特征在于,该***还包括在先前打印的每个标签(200)上附着射频电路(110)的装置(37),该射频电路(37)包括射频芯片(111)。
11.根据权利要求10所述的***(1),其特征在于,所述对射频进行编码的装置(30)设置于附着装置(37)的下游侧。
12.根据权利要求10或11所述的***(1),其特征在于,所述附着装置(37)包括存储设置于连续条带(10)上的射频电路(110)的装置(35),以及将每个射频电路(110)连续地附着于标签(200)的其中一个面上的预定附着区域(240)上的装置(40、41)。
13.根据权利要求12所述的***(1),其特征在于,所述附着装置包括辊(40),该辊(40)的周缘表面(41)紧靠标签(200)的移出表面(32),从而当其接合于所述辊(40)的周缘表面(41)与所述标签(200)之间时,连续条带(10)所预先携带的射频电路(110)压靠于所述标签(200)上。
