Abstract

Description

容易打开的管状密封外壳
技术领域:
本发明涉及对用于容易地打开一管状密封外壳的技术的改进,该壳体包括三层或更多层的复合塑料薄膜。
背景技术
以偏二氯乙烯薄膜为基础的单层塑料薄膜已经用作经过处理的肉类和鱼类食品、像奶酪和牛油这样的乳制品以及像果冻这样的糖果点心的外壳。这种外壳通过下列步骤形成:将塑料薄膜做成管形,从而使薄膜的上表面和下表面将沿长的内含物彼此重叠;像在邮寄信封时一样密封重叠的部分,从而留下一个热密封区(耳片区);以及用金属丝捆绑其两个边缘或用普通的密封方法密封各个区。
当打开此外壳时,会存在某些困难,例如要用像刀子这样的工具切开一部分薄膜并从该部分撕下薄膜,而且为了克服在打开外壳时出现的这一困难,曾经提出过各种用于轻松打开外壳的改进方法。所提出的方法例如包括:其中在基膜的一部分或密封区上熔接比基膜结实的薄膜条并且通过撕拉薄膜条而使基膜破裂的方法,其中在基膜的尚未被热密封的部分上设置一作为打开结构的V形缺口或I形缺口并且从缺口处撕开基膜的方法,以及其中在尚未被热密封的区域有意地做出许多裂纹并从该区域撕开基膜的方法。
作为用于同样用途的外壳薄膜领域中的发展方向,可以认为,顾客对非氯化物基塑料薄膜的需求在将来将越来越大。以此非氯化物基塑料薄膜为基础的外壳按与上述偏二氯乙烯薄膜相同的方式被应用,但是对非氯化物基薄膜本身要求有用作阻气层和进行热密封的能力,因此,通常都认为,单层塑料薄膜不能满足这些需要,并且研究了形成一种用非氯化物基薄膜作为其组件的复合薄膜的可能性。出于上述原因,用于偏二氯乙烯单层薄膜外壳的上述打开结构不足以适用于轻松地打开以非氯化物基薄膜为基础的外壳。
上述的用于容易地打开一外壳的技术可被用于偏二氯乙烯薄膜本身,因为此薄膜适于被轻松地撕破,但是在用复合塑料薄膜代替单层偏二氯乙烯薄膜时,复合塑料薄膜的撕裂强度高,因此难于通过撕破薄膜本身而打开外壳。
如上所述,用于容易地打开以复合塑料薄膜为基础的外壳的技术还未形成。
发明内容
本发明是根据上述情况而做出的,本发明的目的为提供一种使用复合塑料薄膜的管状密封外壳,它可像邮寄信封那样被热密封,能够被容易地打开,而且不需要依靠通常适用于方便打开的I形或V形缺口。

图1示出了在按照本发明的外壳中使用的基膜的剖面结构。此基膜2包括三个薄膜层,即一个中间层薄膜3,一个内层薄膜4和一个外层薄膜5,它们全部都分别由非氯化物基薄膜制成。此外,内层薄膜4和外层薄膜5都是适于热密封的薄膜,而中间层薄膜3则是有能力起阻气层作用或起紫外线吸收器作用的薄膜。
外层薄膜5与中间层薄膜3之间的撕裂强度被设定成低于中间层薄膜3与内层薄膜4之间的撕裂强度的水平。
通过以下步骤将这种成三层的基膜2成形为一个管状外壳1,即,弯曲基膜2并使其两个边缘如图2所示地彼此重叠;在垂直方向上以恒定的宽度热密封重叠部分6,以形成一个热密封区7;以及在此热密封区7的内缘和外缘处留下未被热密封的区域8、8a。
图3示出了具有放置在其内的内含物的外壳已经通过用金属丝10捆绑其两个边缘而被密封的状态。两个边缘部分可以通过热密封而被密封,从而在本发明中,密封措施并不局限于金属丝。
在上述的密封外壳1中,在未被热密封的区域8中,以预定的间距设置各自起打开结构作用的I形缺口9,外壳1从该I形缺口被打开。
传统的用于此目的的V形缺口或裂缝也可以用作打开结构,以代替I形缺口,在本发明中对此没有限制。
此外,可以只设置一个缺口或裂纹作为打开结构,但是也可以设置多个缺口或裂纹,从而可以从任何一个缺口或裂纹打开外壳。
当要打开以复合薄膜为基础的外壳1时,采用如上面针对传统技术所描述的、通过只在未被热密封的区域8中设置多个I形或V形缺口或裂纹而实现的轻松地打开外壳的技术,则被撕破的适用性较差,而且外壳不能如上所述地被容易地打开。
外壳不能被容易地打开是因为,即使撕开是从其中设置缺口或裂纹的区域开始的,复合塑料薄膜本身也不能像传统型单层偏二氯乙烯薄膜那样被容易地撕破,而且热密封区7的热合强度很高。
为了解决这些问题,本发明人根据广泛深入的研究结果得出,使外壳能被容易地打开的适用性不能只通过在未被热密封的区域中设置缺口或裂纹来实现。基于这一认识,本发明人将包括三层或更多层的基膜2的外层薄膜5和中间层薄膜3之间的撕裂强度设定成比内层薄膜4与中间层薄膜3之间的撕裂强度低的水平,并且还将操作的撕裂强度设定为10-2000g/15mm。由此,在从未被热密封的区域8中的I形缺口9开始撕开以后,当如图5和图6所示地拉动打开耳片11时,使外层薄膜5破裂并在热密封区7处断开,而且从内层薄膜3上撕下外层薄膜5,从而可以容易地打开外壳。此特征可从图4所示的剖视图中得到更好的理解,而且由于这一特征,当打开外壳时,外层薄膜5的断开处12出现在热密封区7的边缘部分上,然后从中间层薄膜3上进行剥离13,这样就使在重叠区内侧一直到未被热密封的区域8a的区域被撕下,而这种撕下机理是十分有创造性的。
在作为复合塑料薄膜用于本发明的基膜2中,由于需要在重叠区6上形成热密封区7,因此重要的是使内层薄膜4和外层薄膜5都是能进行热密封的塑料薄膜,并且对用于形成复合薄膜的材料没有限制,只要它能被用作用于中间薄膜3的复合薄膜(起着例如阻气层的作用),从而满足被放在外壳中的内含物的要求(例如保持新鲜度)。
通过选择外层薄膜5与中间层薄膜3之间的粘接的处理条件和/或用于这两个薄膜层的成分,可以容易地将外层薄膜5与中间层薄膜3之间的撕裂强度控制成小于其它层之间的撕裂强度的水平,而且对方法没有限制。
此外,在未被热密封的区域8的一个边缘处设置一个或多个缺口或裂纹的方法包括但不限于其中在自动包装步骤中沿未被热密封的区域8的边缘线在横向上设置一个或多个缺口也即一个或多个I形或V形缺口的方法,以及其中在未被热密封的区域8中沿横向设置多个裂纹的方法,也就是这样一种方法,即,用在其圆周上有许多刀片状突起的工具在预定的区域中沿金属辊的宽度方向设置许多裂纹,其中薄膜在将其成形为外壳之前进行的薄膜处理步骤中要经过该金属辊,为了实现本发明的目的,可以采用任何开始打开的方法,而且对于该打开结构没有具体的限制。
实例
一种复合塑料薄膜是通过下列步骤制造的,即,使用可从市场上得到的未伸长的15μ的聚丙烯作为内层薄膜4,将可从市场上得到的伸长的20μ的尼龙薄膜作为中间层薄膜3,并采用可从市场上得到的未伸长的15μ的聚丙烯薄膜;通过适当地选择用于在外层薄膜5和中间层薄膜3之间进行粘接的粘结剂和用于在内层薄膜4与中间层薄膜3之间进行粘接的粘结剂而将外层薄膜5与中间层薄膜3之间的层间撕裂强度设定为200g/15mm,从而将外层薄膜5与中间层薄膜3之间的层间撕裂强度设定为500g/15mm。
然后,通过使用一个垂直放置的外壳充填机/包装机,用上述薄膜包装一块鱼肉香肠,并在重叠区6上的未被热密封的区域8中设置I形缺口9,以使之易于打开外壳,而且用金属丝10捆绑外壳1的两个边缘,这样,就完成了管状的密封外壳1(参看图3)。
随后,进行试验,以检查在从外壳1上作为打开开始位置的I形缺口9打开外壳时的容易性。在此试验中,当拉动未被热密封的区域8时(图4),外层薄膜5从热密封区7的边缘部分上产生断裂12,而且如标号13所示,具有低层间撕裂强度的区域一直到在外层薄膜5与中间层薄膜3之间的未被热密封的区域8a的内侧都被撕下,从而可容易地打开外壳。
控制
图7示出了在内层薄膜4与中间层薄膜3之间的撕裂强度被设定为300g/15mm,而外层薄膜5与中间层薄膜3之间的撕裂强度被设定为600g/15mm的情况下的撕开现象,在此情况下,在中间层薄膜3与内层薄膜4之间产生断裂12和撕开13,从而不能打开外壳1。
应当指出,虽然外壳中的内含物是一块鱼肠,但是可以在此外壳1中包装任何的内含物,并且如上所述,对内含物没有特别限制。
如上所述,用于容易地打开一外壳的传统技术曾经被用于以偏二氯乙烯薄膜为基础的管状密封外壳上,该外壳像对邮寄信封那样被热密封,但是将这种传统技术用在采用复合塑料薄膜包装内含物时,不能容易地打开外壳,不过,采用本发明,就可以非常容易地打开该外壳。
在用焚烧或任何其它的方法处理时,单层偏二氯乙烯薄膜由于产生二噁而造成环境污染问题,但是在采用以非氯化物基薄膜为基础的复合塑料薄膜时,不会发生这种环境污染,并可提供与我们的环境相容的用于食品的外壳。

Claims (4)

1.一种用于在其中包装一内含物的易于打开的管状密封外壳,它以塑料薄膜为基础,并按如下所述的方式被做成管形,即弯曲一基膜并重叠基膜的两个边缘,然后热密封重叠区,从而沿上膜的一个边缘留下一未被热密封的区域,其特征为,所述基膜为一种复合塑料薄膜,该薄膜包括三层或更多层,而且在当将复合塑料薄膜形成圆形时成为外表面的外层薄膜与成为中间层的中间层薄膜之间的撕裂强度被设定成低于内层薄膜与中间层薄膜之间的撕裂强度的水平。
