Abstract

Background
Herpes zoster is a viral skin disease caused by varicella-zoster virus and characterized by erythema, blisters distributed along the unilateral peripheral nerve and often accompanied by overt neuralgia, and is a common disease of the dermatological family. The Chinese medicine is called as "snake sores", "twining waist fire pill" or "fire belt sores", etc. The good sites of herpes zoster are in turn intercostal nerves, cervical nerves, trigeminal nerves and lumbosacral nerve innervating areas, which are represented by densely populated small blisters, are banded along one peripheral nerve, and have obvious neuralgia with regional lymphadenectasis. Example 4: clinical application
34 volunteers, 16 men and 18 women, aged 16-65 years, who meet the diagnosis standard of herpes zoster in the "Chinese and Western medicine Combined dermatology", were treated with the medicine prepared in example 2, and a course of treatment was 5 days.
Efficacy assessment:
