Abstract

本申请实施例公开了一种同步方法及设备:首先,设备按预定周期在MAC层向PHY层发送的数据码流中标注出周期性码块,之后通过PHY层向对端设备发送上述数据码流,并在发送时记录下每个周期性码块的发送时间作为第一时间戳,且将第一时间戳返回MAC层。即设备在PHY层通过对从MAC层接收到周期性码块打上时间戳的方式,设置了一个基于PHY层的时间参考标尺(即第一时间戳),若有同步报文需发送至对端设备,由于时间参考标尺是在PHY层标记的时间戳,因此,设备就会以该时间参考标尺实时计算该同步报文实质从PHY层发出的时间点(即打上发送时间戳),从而可得到同步报文由PHY层发送的时间点,消除了PHY层的时延,提高了同步报文(如,1588报文)的发送时间戳的精度。
