The working principle of the invention is as follows: when the boom sprayer is used by a worker, the boom sprayer is installed on a vehicle through the telescopic suspension device 5, when the boom sprayer is used, the fourth oil cylinder 51 adjusts the height of the boom sprayer according to the spraying requirement, when the vehicle runs on an unstable road, the balance board 2 tilts along with the movement of the vehicle, the angle sensor 25 detects the tilt angle of the balance board 2, the first oil cylinder 15 adjusts the balance board 2 according to the angle information detected by the angle sensor 25, when the balance board 2 moves to one side close to the first oil cylinder 15, the first oil cylinder 15 contracts, when the angle detected by the angle sensor 25 is zero, the first oil cylinder 15 stops moving, at the moment, the chain 23 drives the upper support rod 13, the lower support rod 14, the first folding wing 3 and the second folding wing 4 to restore to the horizontal state, when the balance board 2 moves to one side far away from the first oil cylinder 15, the first oil cylinder 15 extends, when the angle detected by the angle sensor 25 is zero, the first oil cylinder 15 stops moving, the spray rod spraying machine unfolds the first folding wing 3, the second folding wing 4 and the third folding wing 44 in the using process, the spraying pipe 6 is connected by a hose, the hose is connected with the spray tank to spray the medicament, when the first folding wing 3, the second folding wing 4 and the third folding wing 44 are required to be folded, the third folding wing 44 rotates around the second rotating shaft 43 to the position overlapped with the second folding wing 4 to control the third oil cylinder 36 to contract, the third oil cylinder 36 drives the first arc-shaped connecting plate 42 and the second arc-shaped connecting plate 35 to move inwards to realize the overlapping of the second folding wing 4 and the first folding wing 3, the second oil cylinder 143 drives the second folding wing 4 to vertically rotate around the first rotating shaft 33 by 90 degrees, so that the second folding wing 4 after working moves to two sides of the vehicle, and the occupied space of the first folding wing 3, the second folding wing 4 and the third folding wing 44 is reduced, and the folding wings are protected.
