Abstract

一种电连接器及其制造方法,所述电连接器用以承载芯片模块,所述电连接器包括绝缘本体及固持于所述绝缘本体的若干导电端子。所述导电端子由金属板制成,其包括主体部、自所述主体部向上倾斜延伸的第一弹性臂以及自所述第一弹性臂延伸的第一接触部,位于同一排的相邻两个导电端子自同一第一料带裁切形成,故而在其主体部的相邻侧分别形成第一料带连接部。如此设置,可省去在导电端子下端设置料带的工艺,节省成本;还可以缩短两相邻导电端子之间的距离,进一步增强导电端子的耦合效果,提高高频信号传输的速率与质量。

【技术领域】
本发明有关一种电连接器及其制造方法,尤其涉及一种用以承载芯片模块并电性连接至电路板的电连接器及其制造方法。
【背景技术】
中国发明专利申请第CN109659723A号揭示了一种电连接器,其包括导电端子安装于一基座,导电端子具有主体,主体向上延伸形成二弹性臂,主体的下方连接一导接部,导接部具有一连料部用以连接一第一料带,所述主体的上端设有一连接部用以连接辅助安装的一第二料带,所述连接部位于所述二弹性臂之间。以上发明专利在导电端子主体部下方需要设有导接部,用以连接第一料带,此料带会影响相邻两导电端子之间的距离,从而不利于导电端子高频信号的传输。
因此,确有必要提供一种改进的电连接器,以克服上述缺陷。
【发明内容】
本发明的目的在于提供一种高频信号传输效率更佳的电连接器。
本发明的目的通过以下技术方案来实现:一种电连接器,用以承载芯片模块,所述电连接器包括绝缘本体及固持于所述绝缘本体的若干导电端子,所述导电端子由金属板制成,其包括主体部、自所述主体部向上倾斜延伸的第一弹性臂以及自所述第一弹性臂延伸的第一接触部,位于同一排的相邻两个导电端子自同一第一料带裁切形成,故而在其主体部的相邻侧分别形成第一料带连接部。
进一步的,所述第一弹性臂设有贯穿金属板面的第一开口,所述主体部设有向上延伸并位于第一开口的竖直部,所述第一弹性臂沿横向方向的宽度等于所述主体部的宽度。
进一步的,所述电连接器还包括若干个绝缘块,每一绝缘块包覆成型至位于同一排的所述导电端子的主体部而形成端子模组,所述竖直部向上突伸出所述绝缘块。
进一步的,所述导电端子的主体部设有贯穿其金属板面的通孔,所述绝缘块也设有相对的通孔。
进一步的,所述绝缘块设有开槽,第一料带连接部暴露对应开槽内,以方便切除所述第一料带。
进一步的,所述第一接触部沿横向方向的宽度小于所述竖直部。
本发明的目的还通过以下技术方案来实现:一种电连接器的制造方法,包括如下步骤:
步骤(1):提供一绝缘本体,所述绝缘本体设有相对设置的上、下表面以及若干贯穿该上、下表面的纵长槽;
步骤(2):提供若干导电端子,所述导电端子包括主体部、自所述主体部向上倾斜延伸的第一弹性臂以及自第一弹性臂延伸的第一接触部,位于同一排的相邻两导电端子主体部的之间连接有第一料带;
步骤(3):将所述第一料带裁切,在相邻两导电端子主体部的相邻侧分别形成第一料带连接部;
步骤(4):将所述导电端子组装至绝缘本体内,使得所述导电端子的本体部收容在对应的纵长槽内。
进一步的,在步骤(2)中还提供若干绝缘块,所述绝缘块包覆成型在同一排的所述若干导电端子的主体部并形成端子模组。
进一步的,在步骤(4)中,所述第一弹性臂设有贯穿金属板面的第一开口,所述主体部设有向上延伸并位于第一开口内的竖直部,提供第二料带夹持所述竖直部以将所述对应的端子模组一起组装至绝缘本体内。
进一步的,还包括步骤(5):将连接导电端子的第二料带从所述竖直部处移除,用治具向下抵压所述竖直部,以使所述竖直部的上端与所述绝缘本体的上表面相互齐平,且所述绝缘块完全收容于所述纵长槽内。
与现有技术相比,本发明具有如下有益效果:本发明通过将第一料带设置于导电端子之间,缩短了相邻两第一弹性臂之间的距离,从而增强了导电端子的耦合效果。

【具体实施方式】
请参图1至图15所示,一种电连接器100,用以承载芯片模块(未图示),所述电连接器100包括绝缘本体1、固持于所述绝缘本体1的若干导电端子及若干绝缘块3。在本发明中定义图1中的X方向为横向方向,Y方向为纵向方向,Z方向为上下方向。
请参图1至图3所示,所述绝缘本体1包括相对设置的上、下表面11、12、及若干贯穿所述上、下表面11、12的纵长槽13。所述绝缘本体1还包括沿横向方向相对设置的两侧面14,每一所述纵长槽13沿横向方向贯穿所述两侧面14。
请参图4至图8所示,所述导电端子2由金属板制成,其包括主体部21、自所述主体部21向上倾斜延伸的第一弹性臂22、自所述第一弹性臂22延伸的第一接触部23、自所述主体部21向下倾斜延伸的第二弹性臂24、自所述第二弹性臂24延伸的第二接触部25以及自所述主体部向上延伸竖直部26。所述第一弹性臂22沿横向方向的宽度d1等于所述主体部21的宽度d2。位于同一排的相邻两个导电端子2自同一第一料带200裁切形成,故而在所述导电端子2的主体部21的相邻侧分别形成第一料带连接部27。所述导电端子2的主体部21设有贯穿其金属板面的通孔211,以方便所述导电端子2的固持。所述第一接触部23沿横向方向的宽度小于所述竖直部26的宽度。
所述第一弹性臂22包括自所述主体部21两端分别向上延伸的第一臂221和第二臂222、桥接所述第一弹性臂22的第一、第二臂221、222的第一桥接部223以及由所述第一、第二臂221、222及所述第一桥接部223围形成的第一开口224。所述第一开口224贯穿金属板面,所述竖直部26位于所述第一开口224。所述第一、第二臂221、222自所述主体部21向上先竖直延伸再弯折延伸至所述第一桥接部223。所述第一接触部23与所述第一桥接部223连接。
所述第二弹性臂24设有与所述第一弹性臂22呈对称设置的第一、第二臂241、242、第二桥接部243以及第二开口244,所述第二弹性臂24沿横向方向的宽度等于所述主体部21的宽度。由于所述第一弹性臂22、主体部21及第二弹性臂24沿横向方向的宽度相等,相邻两导电端子2之间的距离均为d3=0.24mm,从而提高导电端子2的耦合效果,增强高频信号传输效果。
请参图4至图7所示,所述绝缘块3包覆成型至位于同一排的所述导电端子2的主体部21而形成端子模组4。在本发明中使用所述绝缘块3将所述导电端子2固持住,以方便所述导电端子2的组装。所述绝缘块3设有开槽41以及与所述导电端子2的通孔211相对应的通孔42。所述开槽41设置于与所述第一料带200相对应的位置处且所述第一料带连接部27暴露对应的开槽41内,以方便所述第一料带200的裁切。
请结合图9-15所示,本发明的电连接器100制造方法包括如下步骤:
步骤(1):提供一绝缘本体1,所述绝缘本体1设有相对设置的上、下表面11、12以及若干贯穿该上、下表面11、12的纵长槽13;
步骤(2):提供若干导电端子2,所述导电端子2包括主体部21、自所述主体部21向上倾斜延伸的第一弹性臂22以及自第一弹性臂22延伸的第一接触部23,位于同一排的相邻两导电端子主体部的之间连接有第一料带;所述绝缘块3包覆成型在同一排的所述若干导电端子2的主体部21并形成端子模组4。
步骤(3):将所述第一料带200裁切,在相邻两导电端子2主体部21的相邻侧分别形成第一料带连接部27;
步骤(4):所述第一弹性臂22设有贯穿金属板面的第一开口224,所述主体部21设有向上延伸并位于第一开口224内的竖直部26;提高第二料带300,所述第二料带300设有用以夹持所述竖直部26的若干夹持件301、连接所述夹持件301的若干连接臂302以及连接所述若干连接臂302的第二料带主体部303;令第二料带夹持件301夹持所述导电端子2的竖直部26将所述对应的端子模组4一起组装至绝缘本体1内,并使得所述导电端子2的主体部21置于在对应的纵长槽13内。
步骤(5):将连接所述导电端子2的第二料带300从所述竖直部26处移除,使用治具向下抵压所述竖直部26,以使所述竖直部26的上端与所述绝缘本体1的上表面11相互齐平且所述第二接触部裸露于所述绝缘本体的下表面12,至所述绝缘块3完全收容于所述纵长槽13内。
需要说明的是,在本发明中使用第二料带300来组装所述导电端子2时,不仅限于使用夹持件301来夹持的方式,还可以使用镭射等其他方式来使所述第二料带300与所述导电端子2的竖直部26相固持。
综上所述,本发明所述电连接器100的有益效果如下:
1.本发明通过将第一料带200设置于导电端子之间,不仅省去了在导电端子2下端设置料带的工艺,节省成本;还可以缩短两相邻导相邻两第一弹性臂22之间的距离,进一步增强导电端子2的耦合效果;
2.在所述导电端子2的主体部21上设置绝缘块3将导电端子2连接固定,便于导电端子2的组装;
3.所述第二料带300设有夹持竖直部26的夹持件301,方便第二料带300与导电端子2的夹持与拆卸过程,在导电端子2组装过程中更加方便简洁,有利于提供工作效率,从而节省时间,节省成本。

1.一种电连接器,用以承载芯片模块,所述电连接器包括绝缘本体及固持于所述绝缘本体的若干导电端子,所述导电端子由金属板制成,其包括主体部、自所述主体部向上倾斜延伸的第一弹性臂以及自所述第一弹性臂延伸的第一接触部,其特征在于:位于同一排的相邻两个导电端子自同一第一料带裁切形成,故而在其主体部的相邻侧分别形成第一料带连接部。
2.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述第一弹性臂设有贯穿金属板面的第一开口,所述主体部设有向上延伸并位于第一开口的竖直部,所述第一弹性臂沿横向方向的宽度等于所述主体部的宽度。
3.如权利要求2所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述电连接器还包括若干个绝缘块,每一绝缘块包覆成型至位于同一排的所述导电端子的主体部而形成端子模组,所述竖直部向上突伸出所述绝缘块。
4.如权利要求3所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述导电端子的主体部设有贯穿其金属板面的通孔,所述绝缘块也设有相对的通孔。
5.如权利要求3所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述绝缘块设有开槽,第一料带连接部暴露对应开槽内,以方便切除所述第一料带。
6.如权利要求2所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述第一接触部沿横向方向的宽度小于所述竖直部。
7.一种电连接器的制造方法,其特征在于,包括如下步骤:
步骤(1):提供一绝缘本体,所述绝缘本体设有相对设置的上、下表面以及若干贯穿该上、下表面的纵长槽;
步骤(2):提供若干导电端子,所述导电端子包括主体部、自所述主体部向上倾斜延伸的第一弹性臂以及自第一弹性臂延伸的第一接触部,位于同一排的相邻两导电端子主体部的之间连接有第一料带;
步骤(3):将所述第一料带裁切,在相邻两导电端子主体部的相邻侧分别形成第一料带连接部;
步骤(4):将所述导电端子组装至绝缘本体内,使得所述导电端子的本体部收容在对应的纵长槽内。
8.如权利要求7所述的电连接器的制造方法,其特征在于:在步骤(2)中还提供若干绝缘块,所述绝缘块包覆成型在同一排的所述若干导电端子的主体部并形成端子模组。
9.如权利要求8所述的电连接器的制造方法,其特征在于:在步骤(4)中,所述第一弹性臂设有贯穿金属板面的第一开口,所述主体部设有向上延伸并位于第一开口内的竖直部,提供第二料带夹持所述竖直部以将所述对应的端子模组一起组装至绝缘本体内。
10.如权利要求9所述的电连接器的制造方法,其特征在于:还包括步骤(5):将连接导电端子的第二料带从所述竖直部处移除,用治具向下抵压所述竖直部,以使所述竖直部的上端与所述绝缘本体的上表面相互齐平,且所述绝缘块完全收容于所述纵长槽内。
