Background
In the modern high-density and large-scale livestock and poultry breeding process, diarrhea is a common frequently-occurring disease of various livestock and poultry, the morbidity and the mortality are high, the growth performance of the livestock and poultry is seriously influenced, and if the prevention and the treatment are not timely, huge economic loss can be caused to a farm.
The diarrhea is an independent disease and a symptom in the pathological process of various diseases, gastroenteritis and diarrhea syndrome of livestock and poultry is a global problem, the development of the breeding industry is troubled for a long time, the disease is wide in prevalence and is developed all year round, even if the livestock and poultry survive to death, the growth of the livestock and poultry is slow, the feed reward is reduced, and the great economic loss is caused.
At present, antibiotic medicines are mainly adopted for clinically preventing and treating livestock and poultry diarrhea, although the curative effect is exact, the serious drug resistance can be generated, the immunity and the disease resistance of animals are gradually reduced, organism residues are caused, and potential food safety hazards are left for human beings. With the improvement of living standard and the enhancement of self-protection consciousness of people, more and more attention is paid to the safety of food, and more countries in the world have started to forbid or limit the use of antibiotics and chemosynthetic drugs as compositions so as to solve the problem of antibiotic residue in food from the source.
Chinese herbal medicine which is a traditional resource in China contains various bioactive substances, and can resist bacteria, diminish inflammation, enhance the immune function of an organism, improve the anti-stress and anti-disease capability of animals and improve the production performance of the animals. The Chinese herbal medicine has the characteristics of difficult generation of bacterial drug resistance, low toxicity, no residue or low residue and the like, has double effects of medicine and nutritional agents, and has unique advantages in preventing and treating diarrhea diseases of livestock and poultry.

Test example 1
(1) 90 weaned external three-element piglets of 28 days old are selected and randomly divided into 3 treatment groups, each treatment group has 5 repetitions, each repetition has 6 piglets, and the test period is 7 days. The grouping situation is as follows
TABLE 1 design of the experiments
(2) Measurement index
The diarrhea condition of piglets is mainly observed the diarrhea rate and diarrhea index of piglets of different treatment groups at 1 week after weaning, the feces of piglets are respectively observed at 9:00 and 17:00 every day in the experimental period, and the specific evaluation method is as follows
Grading the piglet feces: (0) the feces are in the form of strips or granules. (II) 1 minute, the manure is soft, and the shaping can be realized. ③ 2, thick, not shaped, and the liquid dung is not separated. Fourthly, 3, separating liquid, unformed and liquid dung. When the fecal score is 2 or more than 2, the piglets are considered to have diarrhea, and the diarrhea rate and the diarrhea index of the piglets are calculated for 0-7 d.
The diarrhea index is the sum of diarrhea scores of piglets in each treatment group within 0-7 d/(test days multiplied by the number of piglets in each group);
the diarrhea rate (%) is 0-7 d, and the number of diarrhea heads of each treated group of piglets/(test days multiplied by the number of heads of each group of piglets) is calculated.
(3) The test results are as follows
TABLE 2 results of the Effect of different treatments on the diarrhea status of weaned piglets
As can be seen from Table 2, compared with the control group, the use of the antibiotics and the invention can significantly reduce the diarrhea rate of weaned piglets and lower the diarrhea index, and the effect of the invention is slightly better than that of the antibiotics group.
Therefore, the composition can effectively reduce the diarrhea rate of weaned piglets and reduce the occurrence of diarrhea.
Test example 2
288 AA broilers of 0 day old were selected and randomly divided into 4 treatment groups, each treatment was repeated 6 times, each treatment was repeated 12 times, and the test period was 42 days. The grouping situation is as follows
TABLE 3 test design
(2) Measurement index
The health of the test chickens was observed daily at regular intervals and the number of diarrhea chickens and the number of dead chicks were recorded, the criterion for diarrhea being the visible adhesion of dry or dilute wet faeces in the cloacal orifice. And respectively calculating the diarrhea rate and the death and culling rate of the test chickens of each treatment group by taking the repetition as a statistical unit.
(3) The test results are as follows
TABLE 4 Effect of different treatments on diarrhea in weaned piglets
Note: data in the same row with different letters indicates significant difference (P < 0.05), and with no label or same letter indicates insignificant difference (P > 0.05).
As can be seen from Table 4, diarrhea of broilers of each treatment group mainly appeared at 0-3 weeks of age; the diarrhea rate of 0-3 weeks old and the whole course (0-6 weeks) is the lowest by taking the aureomycin group as the lowest, and the comparison group is more than the probiotic group and more than the test group and more than the aureomycin group (P is less than 0.05); the diarrhea rate is highest in a control group at 3-6 weeks of age, wherein the control group is more than a chlortetracycline probiotic group and more than a test group (P is less than 0.05). In the test process, the death and culling rate of the broilers in each group is very low, only sporadic cases occur, and the difference between treatment groups is not obvious (P is more than 0.05).
Therefore, the composition can effectively reduce the occurrence of diarrhea of the broiler chicken, and the effect is only second to the whole-course addition of antibiotics.
In conclusion, the components of the composition have good synergistic effect, can obviously reduce the occurrence of livestock diarrhea, and has good prevention and treatment effect on the livestock diarrhea.
The above description is only a preferred embodiment of the present invention, and the protection scope of the present invention is not limited to the above embodiments, and all technical solutions belonging to the idea of the present invention belong to the protection scope of the present invention.
