The centrifugal fan 10 includes a fan frame 15 and a fan set 12 accommodated in the fan frame 15. The fan frame 15 includes a bottom plate 13 and a sidewall 14 extending downward from the periphery of the bottom plate 13. The bottom plate 13 is a flat plate with a U-shaped outer contour. The side walls 14 are arranged perpendicular to the bottom plate 13. A circular air inlet 131 is formed at the center of the bottom plate 13. A bracket 132 extends from the periphery of the circular air inlet 131 toward the center of the circular air inlet 131. The fan wheel assembly 12 is fixed to the bracket 132.

The end of the first protrusion 60 facing the air outlet 144 of the centrifugal fan 10 is flush with the air outlet 144 of the centrifugal fan 10. The cover 30 is a cover plate with a U-shaped outer contour. The cover 30 has a circular air inlet 31 at the center corresponding to the air inlet 131 on the bottom plate 13. The cover 30 has a protrusion 32 formed on its periphery corresponding to the mounting portion 1421 of the sidewall 14. The lug 32 is provided with a screw hole 321 corresponding to a fixing hole (not labeled) of the mounting part 1421. The cover 30 has a first limiting portion 33 and a second limiting portion 34 disposed on its periphery corresponding to the first protrusion 60 and the second protrusion 61, respectively. Specifically, the first position-limiting portion 33 and the second position-limiting portion 34 are respectively disposed on two parallel sides of the cover 30. The connecting line of the centers of the first position-limiting portion 33, the second position-limiting portion 34 and the protruding lug 32 forms an acute triangle, so as to facilitate the sufficient fixation of the cover 30 and the fan frame 15.
Referring to fig. 4, the first position-limiting portion 33 is a substantially U-shaped position-limiting groove. The first position-limiting portion 33 includes a first extending portion 331 extending horizontally outward from the side of the cover 30 and a step portion 332 bent inward from the end of the first extending portion 331. The step portion 332 includes a second extension portion 3321 extending from the end of the first extension portion 331 in a direction perpendicular to the first extension portion 331 and a third extension portion 3322 extending from the end of the second extension portion 3321 horizontally and inwardly. The first extension 331 and the third extension 3322 are disposed parallel to the cover 30. The second extending portion 3321 is disposed perpendicular to the cover 30. The first extension 331 and the step 332 together define a receiving slot 333 for receiving the first protrusion 60.
In the embodiment, the second position-limiting portion 34 has the same structure as the first position-limiting portion 33, and the second position-limiting portion 34 is also provided with an accommodating groove 343 (fig. 2) for accommodating the second protrusion 61, and the structure of the second position-limiting portion 34 will not be described herein again.
Referring to fig. 2 again, a groove 21 is formed on a sidewall of the heat dissipating fin set 20. The groove 21 divides the heat sink fin assembly 20 into a first cavity 22, a second cavity 23 parallel to the first cavity 22, and a connecting member 24 connecting the first cavity 22 and the second cavity 23. A plurality of heat dissipation fins (not labeled) penetrating through the first cavity 22 and the second cavity 23 are arranged in the first cavity 22 and the second cavity 23 in parallel at intervals, and an air duct (not labeled) is formed between adjacent heat dissipation fins. One end of the cover 30 is fixed on the second cavity 23 of the heat sink fin set 20.
One end of each of the two heat pipes 50 of the heat dissipation module is embedded in the corresponding groove 21 of the heat dissipation fin set 20, and the other end of each of the two heat pipes 50 is thermally connected to an electronic component (not shown).
When the centrifugal fan 10 is installed in the heat dissipation device, one end of the cover 30 is fixed on the second cavity 23 of the heat dissipation fin set 20 by means of heat conduction adhesive bonding or soldering. One end of the two heat pipes 50 are embedded and fixed in the groove 21 of the heat dissipating fin set 20 side by side. One end of the air outlet 144 of the centrifugal fan 10 is disposed on the cover 30, and an external force is applied to the centrifugal fan 10, so that the centrifugal fan 10 moves relative to the heat dissipating fin set 20. The first protrusion 60 and the second protrusion 61 on the sidewall 14 of the centrifugal fan 10 slide relative to the first limiting portion 33 and the second limiting portion 34 on the cover 30 along the direction perpendicular to the axial direction of the centrifugal fan 10, and are accommodated in the accommodating groove 333 of the first limiting portion 33 and the accommodating groove 343 of the second limiting portion 34, so as to position the cover 30 relative to the centrifugal fan 10.
The outer surfaces of the first protrusion 60 and the second protrusion 61 are closely attached to the inner surfaces of the first limiting portion 33 and the second limiting portion 34 to prevent the centrifugal fan 10 from moving in the horizontal direction relative to the cover 30. The air outlet 144 of the centrifugal fan 10 abuts against the heat dissipating fin set 20. Screws (not shown) are screwed into fixing holes (not shown) on the mounting part 1421 of the centrifugal fan 10 through the screw holes 321 of the lugs 32 of the cover 30 to lock the centrifugal fan 10 to the cover 30.
When the centrifugal fan 10 is detached from the heat sink, the screw (not shown) for fixing the centrifugal fan 10 is removed, and an external force is applied to the centrifugal fan 10, so that the centrifugal fan 10 moves away from the heat sink fin set 20. The first protrusion 60 and the second protrusion 61 of the centrifugal fan 10 slide out of the receiving groove 333 of the first limiting portion 33 and the receiving groove 343 of the second limiting portion 34 of the cover 30, respectively.
When an electronic component (not shown) is cooled, heat generated by the electronic component is transferred to the cooling fin set 20 through the two heat pipes 50. The centrifugal fan 10 sucks the air flow from the air inlet 131 and the air inlet 31 disposed at both sides of the fan set 12, blows the air flow from the air outlet 144 of the centrifugal fan 10 to the heat dissipating fin set 20, and takes away the heat of the heat dissipating fin set 20.
Fig. 5 to 8 show a heat dissipation device according to a second embodiment of the present invention. Unlike the first embodiment, the centrifugal fan 10a of the second embodiment has a semi-cylindrical rib formed on each of the first and second protrusions 60a and 61a of the sidewall 14. The edge of the cover 30 is provided with a first limiting portion 33a and a second limiting portion 34a corresponding to the first protrusion 60a and the second protrusion 61a, respectively. The first and second stopper portions 33a and 34a are each a C-shaped stopper groove. The first and second position-limiting portions 33a and 34a extend horizontally outward from the side edges of the cover 30 and are bent inward to form a C-shaped position-limiting groove. The sidewall 14 of the centrifugal fan 10a protrudes outward to form two mounting portions 1421 a. The cover 30 has two lugs 32a disposed on its periphery corresponding to the two mounting portions 1421 a.
