对于提高石油采收率(EOR),已在现有技术中使用多种化学方法,如聚合物(P),表面活性剂聚合物(SP),碱性表面活性剂聚合物(ASP),碱性表面活性剂(AS),碱性聚合物(AP),表面活性剂碱性泡沫(SAF),表面活性剂聚合物凝胶(ASG)和碱性共溶剂聚合物(ACP)处理。
SP、AS和ASP体系包括使用α-烯烃磺酸盐,内烯烃磺酸盐,烷基-芳基磺酸盐或烷基醚磺酸盐。可以使用这些磺酸盐至至多约70℃的最高储层温度。只有在极少数情况下,温度可以更高。水盐度应低于约35,000ppm。这显然是不利的,因为许多油井具有较高的温度和较高的盐度。关于化学品注入的问题包括许多油田的盐度使提取效率较低。许多油田中的温度相对于所用的化学品来说太高,因此该方法变得低效。
现有技术的EOR表面活性剂遇到的特殊问题是它们对钙离子存在的耐受性不足。具有阴离子头部基团如磺酸根和/或羧酸根的表面活性剂与双重带电Ca阳离子相互作用并产生线型盐结构网络。钙被表面活性剂分子的两个亲脂性侧链包围,并且表面活性剂失去其形成胶束结构的能力。由于亲脂性的增加,表面活性剂的水溶性较小并且会从溶液中沉淀出来。
除了与高温和/或高盐度不相容之外,现有技术的问题包括添加剂昂贵和/或不是基于可再生原料。此外,现今使用的一些化学品可能是有毒和/或不可生物降解的。此外,根据现有技术,用于EOR的物质的乳化、超晶格形成、储层吸附和分散能力还有改进的空间。
本发明的目的是消除现有技术中的至少一些缺点,并提供用于提高石油采收率的改进方法以及用于提高石油采收率的改进组合物。本发明的目的是找到在高于70℃的储层温度下有效的EOR表面活性剂。另一个目的是找到在高达380,000ppm的盐度中有效的EOR表面活性剂。本发明的另一个目的是找到耐受高钙浓度的EOR表面活性剂。这是为了确保表面活性剂在具有高硬度水平的盐水中的均匀溶解。此外,本发明的目的是克服一些不利之处,如表面活性剂的热降解和高储层吸附。本发明的另一个目的是提供可以在升高的温度下用于EOR并且是可生物降解的组合物。
在第一方面,本发明涉及用于EOR的组合物,其包含
a)至少一种选自式(II)-(IV)的化合物
其中
Ra为C5-C29脂肪族烃基,
Rb为C1-C23脂肪族烃基,和
b)选自以下的组分:水,至少一种有机溶剂,和水与至少一种有机溶剂的混合物。
在第二方面,本发明提供从地下含烃地层采收原油的方法,所述方法包括以下步骤:
a)将第一方面的组合物注入所述地层,
b)采收原油。
在第三方面,提供了第一方面的组合物在油采收中的用途。
下面描述的优选实施方案将适用于本发明的所有方面。
所述实施方案的有利之处之一是提供了新的可再生原料基表面活性剂。通过将其添加到在三次采油期间使用的注入的水中,可以从井中采收更多的油。
本发明的组合物对水包油(O/W Winsor I型乳液)、油包水(W/O Winsor II型乳液)和Winsor III型乳液具有优异的乳化能力。此外,该组合物具有优异的润湿和分散能力。此外,关于形成泡沫的性质是有利的。此外,表面活性剂由于其不能形成分子间NH氢键而克服了其它低分子量表面活性剂形成超晶格如液晶或凝胶的不利之处。
本发明的组合物在热、压力、高盐度和高水硬度下工作良好。60-240℃的储层温度是可能的。至多380,000ppm的盐度是可能的。常规盐度将为至多300,000ppm,更可能至多230,000ppm,最有可能在180,000-150,000ppm的范围内。本发明的组合物将耐受30,000ppm及以上的Ca水平。
用于制备本发明组合物的起始材料是便宜的和可再生的。根据式I的表面活性剂是无毒的、可生物降解的和可重复使用的。
在大多数情况下,不需要使用有机溶剂与式(II)-(IV)的化合物。优选使用水作为溶剂,其从经济和从环境的观点来看是有利的。另一个独特的有利之处是所公开的表面活性剂由于其仲酰胺特性而不容易吸收至矿物表面或与矿物表面相互作用。它不能形成分子间NH氢键减少了例如在循环***中的表面活性剂浓度的损失。
在式(II)-(IV)的组合物不足地溶于水的情况下,可能需要使用有机溶剂。所述组合物在水中的溶解度随着Ra的碳原子数的增加而降低。优选地,对于15个或更高的Ra碳原子数,需要使用溶剂。
优选的有机溶剂是醇。更优选具有1至6个碳原子,特别是1至4个碳原子的一元醇或二元醇。特别优选的醇是甲醇、乙醇、丙醇、丁醇、异丙醇、乙二醇、丙二醇。
在另一个优选的实施方案中,可以使用烷氧基化的醇作为溶剂。烷氧基化的醇优选衍生自作为原料的具有1至6个碳原子,特别是1至4个碳原子的一元醇或二元醇。在另一个优选的实施方案中,烷氧基化的醇衍生自作为起始原料的具有6至10个碳原子的芳族醇。烷氧基化的醇优选具有1至10个,更优选1至4个烷氧基。优选地,烷氧基是指乙氧基或丙氧基,更优选乙氧基。乙氧基化的醇的实例是乙氧基化的丁醇,乙氧基化的苯酚,乙氧基化的苄醇。
式(II)-(IV)的组合物的足够的溶解度被认为是在水中至少10wt-ppm的浓度。优选地,选择溶剂使得式(II)-(IV)的组合物的溶解度在10至100,000wt-ppm的范围内。
必须注意,除非上下文另有明确规定,如本说明书和所附权利要求书中所使用的单数形式“一个”、“一种”和“该”包括复数。
如果没有其它定义,本文使用的任何术语和科学术语旨在具有本发明所属领域技术人员通常理解的含义。
在整个说明书和权利要求书中与数值相关使用的术语“约”表示本领域技术人员熟悉和可接受的准确度间隔。所述间隔为+/-10%。
“原油”在本文中用于表示典型地发现于地表下方的地质构造中的由各种分子量的烃和其它有机化合物的复杂混合物组成的天然存在的混合物。
“烃”在本文中用于表示包含氢和碳的有机化合物。
如果没有另外定义,表述“表面活性剂”或“表面活性剂子体系”是指本发明组合物的组分a)。
在第二方面的一个实施方案中,步骤b)中的原油的采收来自一个或特别是多个生产井。
在式(II)-(IV)中,Ra优选表示C7-C23,更优选C9-C21脂肪族残基。在另一个优选的实施方案中,Ra是烷基或烯基,优选烷基。在另一个优选的实施方案中,Ra是支链的烷基或烯基。
在一个实施例中,Ra是直链的。在替代性实施方案中,Ra是支链的。分子结构在优选的实施方案中是支链的,以接纳胶束曲率并避免致密的胶束间填充,这导致在储层应用中引起麻烦的凝胶或液晶超晶格形成。
在该方面的一个实施方案中,Ra是饱和的。在优选的实施方案中,Ra是不饱和的,以避免致密的胶束间填充,这导致在储层应用中引起麻烦的凝胶或液晶超晶格形成。
Rb优选为具有1至6个,更优选1至4个碳原子的烷基或烯基。在另一个优选的实施方案中,Rb是烷基或烯基。最优选Rb是甲基。
在另一个优选的实施方案中,本发明组合物的表面活性剂子体系a)包含至少50重量%的一种或多种根据式(II)-(IV)的化合物。这意味着存在于本发明组合物中的所有表面活性剂的至少50重量%对应于一种或多种根据式(II)-(IV)的化合物。更优选地,该量为至少60重量%,特别是大于75重量%。
根据本发明,表面活性剂包括式(II)-(IV)的仲酰胺。与伯酰胺相比,所述仲酰胺不能形成分子间氢键。分子间氢键可能引起潜在负面的分子间相互作用,这导致液晶形成、凝胶形成或差的溶解性质,以及与岩石和储层表面之间或在岩石和储层表面上的强相互作用或吸附。
在第二和第三方面的一个实施方案中,在采收原油之后将表面活性剂再循环至所述地层。在一个实施方案中,使用相同的表面活性剂溶液从不同的井中采收油。实验表明,即使在使用相同的表面活性剂溶液的10次循环步骤之后,采收率也是足够的。
在所有方面的一个实施方案中,式(II)-(IV)的化合物在至多240℃是热稳定的,而没有任何降解。换句话说,所述化合物适用于在至多240℃的储层温度的目前描述的用途或方法。
在一个优选的实施方案中,本发明组合物的pH高于8,更优选在8至11.5范围内,还更优选高于9至至多11.5。高的pH活化含有表面活性剂的原油,这在驱采过程中由于协同的表面活性剂效应而增加采收油的量。
糖结构部分如式(II)至(IV)所示是环状的,以避免致密的胶束间填充,其导致在储层应用中引起麻烦的凝胶或液晶超晶格形成。
这种强烈降低的表面张力导致通常原油或油和水的非常好的乳化能力。在现有技术中已知在EOR中使用的表面活性剂优选应该能够与油形成Winsor III体系,并且某些浓度的表面活性剂、盐和油确实产生这样的体系。此外,其显著的润湿和分散性能有帮助。
IUPAC将术语“微乳液”定义如下:
由水、油和一种或多种表面活性剂构成的分散体,其是各向同性和热力学稳定的体系,其中分散域直径变化大约为1至100nm,通常为10至50nm。在微乳液中,分散相的域是球状的或相互连接的(以产生双连续的微乳液)。粗乳液(通常称为“乳液”)中液滴的平均直径接近1毫米(即10-3米)。因此,由于微-意味着10-6和乳液意味着分散相的液滴具有接近10-3m的直径,所以微乳液表示分散相的尺寸范围在10-6×10-3m=10-9m范围内的体系。术语“微乳液”已经具有特定意义。分散相的实体通常由表面活性剂和/或表面活性剂助表面活性剂(例如脂肪族醇)体系稳定。术语“油”是指任何不溶于水的液体。
表面活性剂的分子结构优选为支链仲酰胺,以避免分子间致密的胶束间填充,其导致凝胶相、液晶和其它分子间超晶格的破坏性形成。这是由本发明独特的糖结构部分和仲酰胺两者而没有NH-氢键来促进的。
根据本发明的表面活性剂是低毒的并且易于生物降解。这是通过糖结构部分和酰胺结构来促进的(参见实施例)。
出人意料地,已经发现形成了新的热力学稳定的微乳液,其包括第一方面的组合物,其中体系基本上是光学各向同性的,并且能够增加气体和/或气体和油生产和水采收。热力学稳定的微乳液是在不添加额外的表面活性化合物的情况下不会分解为油相和水相的乳液。
在优选的实施方案中,本发明的组合物基本上不含离子型表面活性剂。“基本上”是指不同于根据式(II)至(IV)的化合物的任何离子型表面活性剂的存在量相对于根据式(II)至(IV)的化合物的总重量最多为50重量%,优选小于25重量%,更优选小于10重量%。
由于不存在离子组分和不能形成氢键,表面活性剂(实际上是非离子型表面活性剂)与矿物表面或岩石、盐、盐水或硬水不会强烈地相互作用,因此完全避免了在驱采过程中传统的离子型表面活性剂具有的一些问题,如表面活性剂损失。在驱采应用过程中,它不损失任何性能活性,并允许再利用仍具有显著表面活性剂活性的生产水(见表3)。
环状葡糖酰胺可以根据以下程序制备:将0.5mol的60重量%的N-甲基-葡糖胺水溶液在搅拌下加热至130℃。蒸馏掉水,和最后施加30mbar真空1小时以得到N-甲基-葡糖胺的干燥熔体。然后将温度升至160℃并用氮气打破真空。之后,借助于滴液漏斗缓慢添加0.5mol经预热(120℃)脂肪酸,以避免反应混合物的凝胶相的起泡和形成。只要酸值(滴定)表明残留脂肪酸的含量>1%,则蒸馏掉反应水,并将温度保持在160℃。得到的环状葡糖酰胺是90-95%的纯熔体。
实施例
样品为如下所示的物质:
样品#1:癸酰基-N-甲基葡糖酰胺(对比)
样品#2:异十三烷基-N-甲基葡糖酰胺(对比)
样品#3:环状-癸酰基-N-甲基葡糖酰胺
样品#4:环状-异十三烷基-N-甲基葡糖酰胺
样品#5:油基-N-甲基葡糖酰胺(对比)
样品#6:环状-油基-N-甲基葡糖酰胺
所有表面张力测量均使用Wilhelmy板法在20°±2℃在KrüssK100C-Mk2张力计上完成。测量0.1克的每种表面活性剂产物,然后用去离子水达到100克。将溶液搅拌10分钟以确保均匀性。在测量前使用0.45微米过滤器滤出溶液。

使用填充有石英砂或储层砂的常见的色谱柱测量吸附。通过标准HPLC方法在柱之前和之后测量液相的表面活性剂浓度,以确定在洗脱液通过固定相之前和之后的液相的表面活性剂浓度的差异。两个表面活性剂浓度的差异表示以mg/g计的吸附。
提高石油采收率试验实验程序:
进行了实验室设置以模拟提高石油采收率。在实验中,将原油和盐溶液填充到砂填料柱中。将API 14.5的原油(500g)加热至90℃(储层温度)。使用50g NaCl和1000mL水制备盐水溶液(50,000ppm NaCl),并加热至90℃。将砂填料用热盐水溶液预冲洗,随后原油冲洗,得到充满原油的柱。之后,将预先制备的表面活性剂溶液(在1000mL的上述热盐水溶液中的10g表面活性剂,样品1、2、3或4)冲洗通过砂填料以采收油。
可以将采收的表面活性剂溶液(水相)与油层用常用的破乳剂分离,并可以再次用于下一次驱采过程至少10次,具有显著的效果。
除非另有规定,样品中的表面活性剂浓度为0.1-3.0重量%。
所有样品重复两次;结果几乎总是相同的。如果不同,运行另一个样本来确定异常值样本,从而丢弃该结果。
表3:油采收
在0.1至30重量%的盐含量之间,根据本发明的表面活性剂的油采收率实际上不变,并且处于约90%,与其它商购获得的表面活性剂比较形成鲜明对照。多个重复样品得到相同的结果。
仲酰胺表面活性剂已经表明,不能形成分子间氢键对表面活性剂对矿物表面的吸附具有很强的影响。几乎没有发现吸附。
葡糖酰胺表面活性剂显示出高达240℃的高温稳定性,并在升高的温度(90℃)产生有效的油采收率。此外,糖酰胺表面活性剂显示出高海洋生物降解性和低水生毒性。
当加热和混合时,油与表面活性剂溶液形成粗乳液,并且当使用商购获得的非离子型破乳剂时几乎完全分离。
表面活性剂溶液容易发泡,但是当它与原油接触时这容易降低。
实施例45
根据样品#3的表面活性剂的热稳定性通过DSC测定,如图1所示。使用35.23mg的样品量。根据DSC图中阴影面积的积分为14,230mJ,其对应于404.93J/g的归一化积分。起始温度为239.38℃,峰值为341.13℃,终点温度为380.03℃。积分限为239.38和399.57。
实施例46ff
与ENORDET 332(来自Shell的内烯烃磺酸盐)和环状葡糖酰胺的直链侧链(直链C8/C10烷基N-甲基葡糖酰胺)比较,通过用去离子水溶解试验,通过添加CaCl2作为Ca阳离子,试验了环状葡糖酰胺样品#3(环状C8/C10烷基N-甲基葡糖酰胺)的硬盐水耐受性。
