技术领域
本发明涉及显示技术领域,具体地,涉及一种像素驱动电路及其驱动方法及显示装置。
背景技术
在有机电致发光(Organic Light-Emitting Diode,简称OLED)显示装置的像素驱动电路中,由于驱动管DTFT的磁滞效应,现有OLED显示装置在点亮黑白画面一段时间后切换到48灰阶画面时会发现残像,然后一段时间后残像现象消失,即称之为短期残像。例如,如图1所示,14inch OLED显示产品点10s黑白画面之后切换到48灰阶画面,短期残像需要2s之后会消失,有的产品短期残像可能需要6s之后会消失。
驱动管DTFT的磁滞效应是指驱动管DTFT在工作过程中,其有源层ACT和栅绝缘层GI的接触界面上会累积一定量的电荷,这部分累积电荷的释放速度太慢,就会导致在非纯色显示画面切换时出现残像,并且累积电荷的释放速度越慢,则残像的出现时长越长,严重影响观看者的视觉体验。
因此,如何消除OLED显示产品在显示过程中的残像已成为目前亟待解决的问题。
发明内容
本发明针对现有技术中存在的上述技术问题之一,提供一种像素驱动电路及其驱动方法和显示装置,可以减少显示过程中非纯色显示画面切换时残像的持续时间,改善了人们的视觉体验。
本发明提供一种像素驱动电路包括数据写入模块、阈值补偿模块、发光控制模块、驱动管、发光件、第一电容和栅源电压调节模块;所述第一电容的第二端、所述驱动管的栅极、所述阈值补偿模块相连,且三者的连接点为NET3节点;所述驱动管的源极、所述发光控制模块、所述数据写入模块相连,且三者的连接点为NET2节点;所述数据写入模块,用于在第n条扫描线上的信号控制下将数据线上的数据写入所述驱动管的源极,n为大于0的整数;所述发光控制模块,用于在发光控制信号的控制下,控制所述驱动管产生的驱动电流,驱动与所述驱动管的漏极相连的所述发光件发光;所述阈值补偿模块,用于在第n条扫描线上的信号控制下将所述驱动管的栅极和漏极相连,给NET3节点充电,直至NET3节点的电位等于数据电压与驱动管的阈值电压之和,以对驱动管进行阈值补偿;所述栅源电压调节模块,用于调节所述NET3节点或NET2节点的电压,以增大所述驱动管的栅极和源极之间电压的模值。

本发明提供的像素驱动电路,通过设置栅源电压调节模块来增大驱动管的栅源电压(即驱动管栅极和源极之间的电压),可使驱动管的有源层和栅绝缘层相互接触的界面上累积的电荷能够快速释放,即,驱动管可以更快稳定,从而可以减少显示过程中非纯色显示画面切换时残像的持续时间,改善了人们的视觉体验。
本发明所提供的显示装置,通过采用上述像素驱动电路,使该显示装置在显示过程中非纯色显示画面切换时的残像持续时间大大缩短,从而改善了该显示装置的显示效果。

具体实施方式
为使本领域的技术人员更好地理解本发明的技术方案,下面结合附图和具体实施方式对本发明所提供的像素驱动电路及其驱动方法及显示装置作进一步详细描述。
实施例1:
图2为本发明实施例1提供的像素驱动电路的电路图;请参阅图2,本实施例提供的一种像素驱动电路,包括数据写入模块10、阈值补偿模块20、发光控制模块30、驱动管DTFT、发光件D1、第一电容C1、栅源电压调节模块40、第一复位模块50和第二复位模块60;其中,第一电容C1的第二端、驱动管DTFT的栅极、阈值补偿模块20相连,且三者的连接点为NET3节点;驱动管DTFT的源极、发光控制模块30、数据写入模块10相连,且三者的连接点为NET2节点。
数据写入模块10用于在第n条扫描线上的信号控制下将数据线Data上的数据写入驱动管DTFT的源极,n为大于0的整数。
发光控制模块30用于在发光控制信号的控制下,控制驱动管DTFT产生的驱动电流,驱动与驱动管DTFT的漏极相连的发光件D1发光。
阈值补偿模块20用于在第n条扫描线上的信号控制下将驱动管的栅极和漏极相连,给NET3节点充电,直至NET3节点的电位等于数据电压与驱动管的阈值电压之和,以对驱动管进行阈值补偿。
栅源电压调节模块40用于调节NET3节点或NET2节点的电压,以增大驱动管的栅极和源极之间电压(以下简称栅源电压)的模值,所谓电压的模值是指电压的大小,即,绝对值。
具体地,若该像素驱动电路中的驱动管为PMOS管,即在低电平(负电平)打开,因此,栅源电压调节模块40可通过将NET3节点的电压拉低(例如,-2V拉低为-5V),来增大驱动管DTFT的栅源电压Vgs=Vg-Vs的模值,若假设Vs=0V,将NET3节点的电压从-2V拉低为-5V,则Vgs=-5V,相对Vgs的初始值为-2V相比,从而增大了栅源电压的模值。
同理,若该像素驱动电路中的驱动管为PMOS管,栅源电压调节模块40可通过将NET2节点的电压拉高(例如,0V拉高为2V),来增大驱动管DTFT的栅源电压Vgs=Vg-Vs的模值,假设Vg=-2V,NET2节点的电压自0V拉高为2V,则Vgs=-4V,相对Vgs的初始值为-2V相比,从而增大了栅源电压的模值。
故,本实施例提供的像素驱动电路,通过设置栅源电压调节模块40来增大驱动管的栅源电压(即驱动管栅极和源极之间的电压),可使驱动管的有源层和栅绝缘层相互接触的界面上累积的电荷能够快速释放,即,驱动管可以更快稳定,从而可以减少显示过程中非纯色显示画面切换时残像的持续时间,改善了人们的视觉体验。
在本实施例中,具体地,栅源电压调节模块40包括:第二电容C2;第二电容C2的一端与NET3节点相连,另一端与和调节电压端相连;更具体地,调节电压端与第n-1条扫描线Gate(n-1)相连。
第一复位模块50的控制端与第n-2条扫描信号端Gate(n-2)相连,第一端和第二端分别与第一电平端VINT和NET3节点相连,用于在第n-2条扫描线Gate(n-2)上的信号控制下将第一电平端VINT上的电压加载至NET3节点。
具体地,第一复位模块50包括第一晶体管T1;第一晶体管T1的控制极作为第一复位模块50的控制端;第一晶体管T1的第一极和第二极分别作为第一复位模块50的第一端和第二端。
阈值补偿模块20包括:第二晶体管T2;第二晶体管T2的控制极和第n条扫描线Gate相连;第二晶体管T2的第一极和第二极分别与驱动管DTFT的栅极和漏极相连。
数据写入模块10包括:第三晶体管T3;第三晶体管T3的控制极和第n条扫描线Gate相连;第三晶体管T3的第一极和第二极分别与数据线Data和NET2节点相连。
发光控制模块30包括:第四晶体管T4和第五晶体管T5;第四晶体管T4的控制极与输出发光控制信号的发光控制端EM相连;第四晶体管T4的第一极和第二极分别与第二电平端ELVDD和NET2节点相连;第五晶体管T5的控制极与输出发光控制信号的发光控制端EM相连;第五晶体管T5的第一极和第二极分别与驱动管DTFT的漏极和发光件D1的阳极相连。
第二复位模块60包括:第六晶体管T6;第六晶体管T6的控制极与第n条扫描线Gate相连;第六晶体管T6的第一极和第二极分别与第一电平端和发光件的阳极相连。
在本实施例中,第一晶体管T1至第六晶体管T6以及驱动管DTFT均为PMOS管,低电平为有效电平,高电平为无效电平。
下面结合图3a详细描述本实施例提供的像素驱动电路的驱动方法。为便于描述,下文中T1表示第一晶体管,其他类同,均以其标号表示该器件或信号端。
该驱动方法包括以下步骤:
复位阶段T1,Gate(n-2)输出低电平时,T1打开,其他TFT以及DTFT全关断,Vint通过T1对DTFT的Gate端(即,NET3节点)复位,并且,对C1进行充电,DTFT的Vgate=Vint,图3b为该阶段导通示意图,具体见图3b中箭头所示。
栅源电压调节阶段T2,Gate(n-1)输出电压由高电平变低电平时,由于C2的存在,NET3节点的电压被耦合拉低为Vgate=Vint-(Vgh-Vgl),其中,Vgh为Gate(n-1)信号中的高电压,Vgl为Gate(n-1)信号中的低电压。故,Vgs增大,相对于现有技术而言,能够在更短时间消除有源层ACT与栅绝缘层GI之间界面的可移动离子,从而DTFT更快稳定,进而改善短期残像,图3c为该阶段导通示意图,具体见图3c中箭头所示。
阈值补偿阶段T3,Gate输出低电平,T2、DTFT、T3打开,对NET3节点继续充电直至至Vgate=Vdata+Vth,停止充电,此时,DTFT的Vgate=Vdata+Vth,实现阈值补偿;同时,T6也打开,OLED阳极通过T6进行复位,输入低电压Vint,图3d为该阶段导通示意图,具体见图3d中箭头所示。
发光阶段T4,EM输出低电平,T4、DTFT、T5打开,给OLED阳极充电并发光,图3e为该阶段导通示意图,具体见图3e中箭头所示。
经过T1-T4,完成一帧时间的像素驱动。
实施例2
图4为本发明实施例2提供的像素驱动电路的电路图;请参阅图4,本实施例提供的像素驱动电路与上述实施例1提供的像素驱动电路相比,同样包括:数据写入模块10、阈值补偿模块20、发光控制模块30、驱动管DTFT、发光件D1、第一电容C1、栅源电压调节模块40、第一复位模块50和第二复位模块60,由于其在上述实施例1中已经有了详细地描述,在此不再赘述。
下面仅描述本实施例与上述实施例1的不同点。具体如下:
调节电压端与输出发光控制信号的发光控制端EM相连;第二电容C2的一端与NET2节点相连。
第一复位模块50的控制端与复位端RST相连,第一端和第二端分别与第一电平端VINT和NET3节点相连,用于在复位端RST上的信号控制下将第一电平端VINT上的电压加载至NET3节点。
下面结合图5详细描述本实施例提供的像素驱动电路的驱动方法。为便于描述,下文中T1表示第一晶体管,其他类同,均以其标号表示该器件或信号端。
该驱动方法包括以下步骤:
栅源电压调节阶段T1,RST输出低电平,T1打开,其他TFT以及DTFT全关断,Vint通过T1对DTFT的Gate端(即,NET3节点)复位,并且,对C1进行充电,DTFT的Vgate=Vint;由于C2的存在,NET2的电压被耦合拉高至Vsource=Vgh+|Vgl|,其中,Vgh表示EM信号的高电平,Vgl表示EM信号的低电平。故,Vgs增大,相对于现有技术而言,能够在更短的时间内消除有源层ACT与栅绝缘层GI之间界面的可移动离子,从而DTFT更快稳定,进而改善短期残像。
阈值补偿阶段T2,Gate输出低电平,T2、DTFT、T3打开,对NET3节点继续充电直至Vgate=Vdata+Vth,停止充电,以实现阈值补偿;同时T6也打开,OLED阳极通过T6进行复位,输入低电压Vint。
发光阶段T3,EM输出低电平,T4、DTFT、T5打开,给OLED阳极充电并发光。
经过T1-T3,完成一帧时间的像素驱动。
实施例3
图6为本发明实施例3提供的像素驱动电路的电路图;请参阅图6,本实施例提供的像素驱动电路与上述实施例1和2提供的像素驱动电路相比,同样包括:数据写入模块10、阈值补偿模块20、发光控制模块30、驱动管DTFT、发光件D1、第一电容C1、栅源电压调节模块40和第二复位模块60,由于其在上述实施例1中已经有了详细地描述,在此不再赘述。
下面仅描述本实施例与上述实施例1和2的不同点。具体如下:栅源电压调节模块40包括:第一晶体管T1;第一晶体管T1的控制极与复位端RST相连,第一极与NET3节点相连,第二极与调节电压端Vadjust相连,用于在复位端RST上的信号控制下将调节电压端Vadjust上的电压加载至NET3节点。
下面结合图7详细描述本实施例提供的像素驱动电路的驱动方法。为便于描述,下文中T1表示第一晶体管,其他类同,均以其标号表示该器件或信号端。
该驱动方法包括以下步骤:
栅源电压调节阶段T1,RST输出低电平,T1打开,其他TFT和DTFT全关断,Vadjust通过T1对DTFT的Gate(即,NET3节点)复位,并对C1进行充电,DTFT的Vgate=Lvgl(即,Vadjust信号的最小值),这相对于现有技术而言,DTFT的Vgs增大,能够在更短的时间内消除有源层ACT与栅绝缘层GI之间界面的可移动离子,从而DTFT更快稳定,进而改善短期残像。
阈值补偿阶段T2,Gate输出低电平,T2、DTFT、T3打开,对NET3节点继续充电直至Vgate=Vdata+Vth,停止充电,以实现阈值补偿;同时T6也打开,OLED阳极通过T6进行复位,输入低电压Vint。
发光阶段T3,EM输出低电平,T4、DTFT、T5打开,给OLED阳极充电并发光。
经过T1-T3,完成一帧时间的像素驱动。
实施例4
本实施例提供一种显示装置,包括实施例1-3任意一个中的像素驱动电路。
通过采用实施例1-3中任意一个中的像素驱动电路,可以使该显示装置在显示过程中非纯色显示画面切换时的残像持续时间大大缩短,从而改善了该显示装置的显示效果。
本发明所提供的显示装置可以为OLED面板、OLED电视、显示器、手机、导航仪等任何具有显示功能的产品或部件。
实施例5
本发明实施例还提供一种上述实施例1-3任意一个像素驱动电路的驱动方法,依次包括以下步骤:
栅源电压调节阶段,调节NET3节点或NET2节点的电压,以增大驱动管的栅极和源极之间电压的模值;
阈值补偿阶段,第n条扫描线上的信号有效,数据电压通过数据写入模块写入至NET2节点;阈值补偿模块打开使得驱动管的栅极和漏极相连,给NET3节点充电,直至NET3节点的电位等于数据电压与驱动管的阈值电压之和,以对驱动管进行阈值补偿;
发光阶段:发光控制信号有效,发光控制模块打开,控制驱动晶体管产生的驱动电流,驱动发光器件发光。
针对实施例1-3的驱动方法,具体可参见上述实施例中的详细描述。
可以理解的是,以上实施方式仅仅是为了说明本发明的原理而采用的示例性实施方式,然而本发明并不局限于此。对于本领域内的普通技术人员而言,在不脱离本发明的精神和实质的情况下,可以做出各种变型和改进,这些变型和改进也视为本发明的保护范围。

Claims (10)

1.一种像素驱动电路,包括数据写入模块、阈值补偿模块、发光控制模块、驱动管、发光件、第一电容,其特征在于,还包括:栅源电压调节模块;
所述第一电容的第二端、所述驱动管的栅极、所述阈值补偿模块相连,且三者的连接点为NET3节点;
所述驱动管的源极、所述发光控制模块、所述数据写入模块相连,且三者的连接点为NET2节点;
所述数据写入模块,用于在第n条扫描线上的信号控制下将数据线上的数据写入所述驱动管的源极,n为大于0的整数;
所述发光控制模块,用于在发光控制信号的控制下,控制所述驱动管产生的驱动电流,驱动与所述驱动管的漏极相连的所述发光件发光;
所述阈值补偿模块,用于在第n条扫描线上的信号控制下将所述驱动管的栅极和漏极相连,给NET3节点充电,直至NET3节点的电位等于数据电压与驱动管的阈值电压之和,以对驱动管进行阈值补偿;
所述栅源电压调节模块,用于调节所述NET3节点或NET2节点的电压,以增大所述驱动管的栅极和源极之间电压的模值;
所述栅源电压调节模块包括:第二电容;
所述第二电容的一端与所述NET3节点或所述NET2节点相连,另一端与调节电压端相连。
2.根据权利要求1所述的像素驱动电路,其特征在于,所述调节电压端与第n-1条扫描线相连;
所述第二电容的一端与所述NET3节点相连。
3.根据权利要求1所述的像素驱动电路,其特征在于,所述调节电压端与输出发光控制信号的发光控制端相连;
所述第二电容的一端与所述NET2节点相连。
4.根据权利要求2所述的像素驱动电路,其特征在于,还包括第一复位模块;
所述第一复位模块控制端与第n-2条扫描信号端相连,第一端和第二端分别与第一电平端和所述NET3节点相连,用于在第n-2条扫描线上的信号控制下将第一电平端上的电压加载至所述NET3节点。
5.根据权利要求3所述的像素驱动电路,其特征在于,还包括第一复位模块;
所述第一复位模块的控制端与复位端相连,第一端和第二端分别与第一电平端和所述NET3节点相连,用于在复位端上的信号控制下将第一电平端上的电压加载至所述NET3节点。
6.根据权利要求4或5所述的像素驱动电路,其特征在于,所述第一复位模块包括:第一晶体管;
所述第一晶体管的控制极作为第一复位模块的控制端;
所述第一晶体管的第一极和第二极分别作为第一复位模块的第一端和第二端。
7.根据权利要求1所述的像素驱动电路,其特征在于,所述栅源电压调节模块包括:第一晶体管;
所述第一晶体管的控制极与复位端相连,第一极与所述NET3节点相连,第二极与调节电压端相连,用于在所述复位端上的信号控制下将所述调节电压端上的电压加载至所述NET3节点。
8.根据权利要求1所述的像素驱动电路,其特征在于,所述阈值补偿模块包括:第二晶体管;
所述第二晶体管的控制极和第n条扫描线相连;
所述第二晶体管的第一极和第二极分别与所述驱动管的栅极和漏极相连;
所述数据写入模块包括:第三晶体管;
所述第三晶体管的控制极和第n条扫描线相连;
所述第三晶体管的第一极和第二极分别与所述数据线和所述NET2节点相连;
所述发光控制模块包括:第四晶体管和第五晶体管;
所述第四晶体管的控制极与输出发光控制信号的发光控制端相连;
所述第四晶体管的第一极和第二极分别与第二电平端和所述NET2节点相连;
所述第五晶体管的控制极与输出发光控制信号的发光控制端相连;
所述第五晶体管的第一极和第二极分别与所述驱动管的漏极和所述发光件的阳极相连;
还包括:第二复位模块;
所述第二复位模块包括:第六晶体管;
所述第六晶体管的控制极与第n条扫描线相连;
所述第六晶体管的第一极和第二极分别与第一电平端和所述发光件的阳极相连。
9.一种显示装置,其特征在于,包括权利要求1-8任意一项所述的像素驱动电路。
10.一种如权利要求1-8任意一项所述的像素驱动电路的驱动方法,其特征在于,依次包括以下步骤:
栅源电压调节阶段,调节所述NET3节点或NET2节点的电压,以增大所述驱动管的栅极和源极之间电压的模值;
阈值补偿阶段,所述第n条扫描线上的信号有效,数据电压通过所述数据写入模块写入至NET2节点;所述阈值补偿模块打开使得驱动管的栅极和漏极相连,给NET3节点充电,直至所述NET3节点的电位等于数据电压与所述驱动管的阈值电压之和,以对所述驱动管进行阈值补偿;
发光阶段:所述发光控制信号有效,发光控制模块打开,控制所述驱动管产生的驱动电流,驱动所述发光件发光。
