Description

Temporary train speed limiting device
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a train speed temporary limiting device that temporarily limits a train speed.
Background
Conventionally, as a Train Control technique, an ATC (Automatic Train Control) device, a CBTC (communication-Based Train Control) system, and the like are known. In addition, a point-type ATS-P (Automatic Train Stop system-Pattern) system (hereinafter, simply referred to as a point-type ATP system) having a cost advantage over these systems is also known.
As disclosed in patent document 1, for example, in the spot ATP system, ground beacons are provided at predetermined intervals along a route on which a train travels, and speed limit information is transmitted by these ground beacons. By receiving the information by the in-vehicle device, a speed pattern based on the speed limit of the train is generated. Also, the speed of the train is controlled so as not to exceed the speed specified by the speed pattern.
However, the train speed may be temporarily limited due to rapid deterioration of weather conditions, or a facility work such as modification of a route. When the ATC device or the CBTC system is used, the train speed temporary limit information can be transmitted to the vehicle-mounted device by the track circuit or by radio.
However, when the point ATP system is used, it is difficult to transmit the train speed temporary limit information to the vehicle-mounted device, as described below.
(a) When a work section for performing a facility work such as a route repair is known in advance, for example, the driver can be notified of a section in which the train speed should be temporarily limited in response to a command in the morning.
However, even in facilities such as line repair, sudden emergency may be required. In addition, the weather conditions such as strong wind and heavy rain may occur in unexpected states and suddenly change. In such an emergency situation, the driver cannot be notified of a section in which the train speed should be temporarily limited by a command in the morning or the like.
(b) It is also conceivable to take measures such as providing a temporary speed limit ground beacon at a position before entering the construction section. However, it cannot cope with unexpected weather condition changes, sudden line modifications, and other facilities.
(c) In the conventional spot ATP system, the vehicle-mounted device checks the order of reception of the text data transmitted from the ground beacon. Therefore, it is not possible to take measures such as providing a temporary speed limit ground beacon at a position before entering the construction section.

Disclosure of Invention
The invention provides a temporary train speed limiting device which can reliably and safely execute temporary train speed limitation caused by rapid deterioration of meteorological conditions, facility engineering such as line modification and the like while keeping the cost advantage of a point type ATP system.
In order to solve the above problem, a temporary train speed limiting device according to the present invention includes: an information transmission path for transmitting temporary speed limit information indicating that the train speed should be temporarily limited in a certain area of the train control section; a ground device for transmitting the temporary speed limit information supplied from the information transmission path; and an on-board device that, upon receiving the temporary speed limit information, generates a temporary speed pattern based on the temporary speed limit of the train speed, and controls the speed of the train in priority to the other speed patterns.
As described above, the train speed temporary limiting device according to the present invention includes the information transmission path. The information transmission path transmits temporary speed limit information for instructing temporary limit of the train speed to be performed in a certain area of the train control section. Therefore, the temporary speed limit information can be transmitted to the position of the train control section including the area where the train speed is to be temporarily limited. The temporary speed limit information includes information of an appropriate temporary speed corresponding to a facility construction such as rapid deterioration of weather conditions and modification of a line.
The ground device transmits temporary speed limit information supplied from the information transmission path. The vehicle-mounted device receives the temporary speed limit information and generates a temporary speed pattern that temporarily limits the speed based on the train speed. The speed of the train is controlled by giving priority to the temporary speed mode over the other speed modes. This constitutes a spot ATP system.
Therefore, it is possible to provide a train speed temporary limiting device and a train control device that can reliably and safely execute the temporary limitation of the train speed due to rapid deterioration of weather conditions, a facility work such as a line repair, and the like while maintaining the cost advantage of the point ATP system.
The above-mentioned information transmission route can be constituted by an already-established LAN (Local area network) that transmits operation management information. This eliminates the need to newly lay an information transmission path, and thus can contribute to cost reduction.
Specifically, the ground device may include a symbol processing unit and a ground beacon. In this case, the symbol processing unit decodes the temporary speed limit information supplied from the information transmission path to generate a telegram, and the ground beacon transmits the telegram.
As described above, according to the present invention, it is possible to provide a train speed temporary limiting device that can reliably and safely execute temporary limitation of a train speed due to rapid deterioration of weather conditions, facility works such as line repair, and the like while maintaining cost advantages that make use of the advantages of a point ATP system.
Drawings
Fig. 1 is a diagram showing a configuration of a train control device according to the present invention.
Detailed Description
Referring to the drawings, a temporary train speed limiting device according to the present invention includes an information transmission path 1, ground devices 31 to 33, and a vehicle-mounted device 7. The information transmission path 1 is laid continuously along the line 5 across a plurality of train control sections D1 to D4, and transmits temporary speed limit information for instructing to temporarily limit the train speed in a certain area Δ P of the train control sections D1 to D4. In the case of fig. 1(a), the region Δ P is located between the train control section D2 adjacent to the train control section D1 and the points P1 and P2 with the boundary between the train control sections D1 and D2 being the reference point P0.
The information transmission path 1 can be constituted by an already-established LAN that transmits operation management information. The already-established LAN that transmits the operation management information is originally a line that transmits the operation management information supplied from the operation management apparatus 11. In the present invention, the LAN is also used as a temporary speed limit information transfer means. Therefore, the temporary speed limit information is supplied from the operation management device 11 to the information transmission path 1.
The ground devices 31 to 33 are provided for each of the train control sections D1 to D4, and transmit the temporary speed limit information supplied from the information transmission path 1 as a signal receivable by the in-vehicle device 7. In the embodiment, the train control sections D1 to D4 are shown as sections between stations, for example, a train control section D2 between a station a1 and a station a2, and a train control section D3 between a station a2 and a station A3. Signal lights 91 to 93 are arranged at the boundaries of the train control sections D1 to D4. Of course, the train control sections D1 to D4 may be intermediate sections between stations. In the case of fig. 1 in which the train 70 is located in the train control section D1 in which the station a1 is located, the ground device 31 transmits the temporary speed limit information, and the on-board device 7 receives the information to execute the necessary train control.
Specifically, the ground devices 31 to 33 may include symbol processing units 311, 321, and 331 and ground beacons 312, 322, and 332. In this case, the symbol processing units 311, 321, and 331 decode the temporary speed limit information supplied from the information transmission path 1 to generate a telegram. The terrestrial beacons 312, 322, 332 transmit the message.
The vehicle-mounted device 7 is mounted on the train 70 traveling along the line 5, and receives signals transmitted from the ground beacons 312, 322, and 332. More specifically, the ATS-P type in-vehicle device 7 is configured. In the case of the on-board device 7, when the temporary speed limit information is received via the information transmission path 1 and the ground devices 31 to 33, a temporary speed pattern based on the train speed temporary limit speed is generated. The train 70 is controlled by the point ATP system configured to prioritize the temporary speed mode over the other speed modes. The in-vehicle device 7 includes the in-vehicle beacon 72 coupled to the ground beacons 312, 322, and 332 by electromagnetic coupling or the like, and the signal processing unit 71 that performs the processing of the ATS-P, and is mounted on the train 70.
As described above, the temporary train speed limiting device according to the present invention includes the information transmission route 1, and the information transmission route 1 is laid along the route 5 across the plurality of train control sections D1 to D4. The information transmission path 1 transmits temporary speed limit information for instructing temporary limit of the train speed to be performed for a certain area Δ P of the train control sections D1 to D4. Therefore, the temporary speed limit information can be transmitted to the positions of the train control sections D1 to D4 including the area Δ P in which the train speed should be temporarily limited. The temporary speed limit information includes information of an appropriate temporary speed corresponding to a rapid deterioration of weather conditions, a facility work such as a modification of the line 5, and the like.
The temporary train speed limiting device comprises ground devices 31-33. The ground devices 31 to 33 are provided for each section set on the line 5, and transmit the temporary speed limit information supplied from the information transmission line 1 as a signal that can be received by the in-vehicle device 7.
Then, the on-board device 7 receives the temporary speed limit information, and generates a speed pattern SP1 based on the train speed temporary limit speed, as shown in fig. 1 (B). The train speed is controlled in accordance with the running pattern SP2 such that the running speed V2 of the train 70 does not exceed the speed V1 specified by the speed pattern SP 1. Thus, a spot ATP system can be configured.
Therefore, it is possible to provide a train speed temporary limiting device and a train control device that can reliably and safely execute a train speed temporary limitation required to cope with a sudden deterioration of weather conditions, a facility work such as a modification of the line 5, and the like while maintaining a cost advantage.
The information transmission path 1 can be constituted by an already-established LAN that transmits operation management information. This eliminates the need to newly lay the information transmission path 5, which can contribute to cost reduction.
While the present invention has been described in detail with reference to the preferred embodiments, it is to be understood that the present invention is not limited thereto, and various modifications can be made by those skilled in the art based on the basic technical ideas and teachings.
