技术领域
本发明涉及一种热熔胶的应用方法,尤其涉及一种将可重塑环氧树脂胶黏剂应用于将一***件安装于一夹层板内的方法。
背景技术
在航空航天领域,夹层材料,如大的蜂窝板的使用非常普遍,并且这种材料经常被用作地板,储藏室门,或航空航天飞机的内部墙壁。通常需要提供一个***件,如一个带螺纹的***件用以容纳螺栓,使得铰链,支架或者其他附件能够得以使用。这些***件也许是封闭式的或者机械安装于夹层材料内,从而实现飞机二级结构,如垃圾桶、厨房和厕所的制造。

在另一个实施例中,本发明用于在一个夹层板结构的产品中安装***件。夹层板结构可以包括由一个核心板(可以是蜂窝核心板)和两块面板组成的面板。在这种情况下,核心板可以是纸、布、塑料或金属,例如铝制金属网格。同样,面板可以是纸、塑料、碳、玻璃纤维、金属、碳纤维/玻璃/芳纶纤维这样的增强热固性树脂,如环氧树脂、酚醛树脂、氰酸酯或苯并恶嗪预浸料或碳/玻璃/芳纶纤维这样的增强热塑性树脂,但不限于PPS、PC、PA。另外,面板或者核心板也可能是由预切割热塑性材料浸渍织物形成,这种材料可能是一种热塑性环氧树脂材料,包括薄膜,长纤维带或织物。
***件一般是金属件;然而,也不能排除有复合材料制成的***件。在航空航天应用中,***件由国家航空航天标准包括NAS1832通过NAS1836定义,并且安装标签和校准工具由NAS1837定义。
为了使***件适用于面板,需要在面板上加工一个尺寸足够安装该***件的空腔。在一个实施例中,图1显示了一个***件1,设有内螺纹2,它被放置在一个面板结构7的空腔6内。另外,安装***件需要用到胶黏剂,该胶黏剂可以被注塑在该***件上,或者通过该***件使用热熔胶。该胶黏剂能够被加热,然后被冷却至能够确保该***件粘结定位于该产品的空腔中所要求的位置。图2显示了***件1和面板结构7,和热熔压力枪8和与前述物件相关联喷嘴9的一部分。所示热熔压力枪有一个用于控制喷嘴出胶的弹簧10和球11。喷嘴的直径d1可被调整用以匹配位于盖板上且被设计用于注胶的***件开口的直径d2。
另外,在安装***件时,胶黏剂可在一个独立的步骤中使用。例如,***件本身可能不带有胶黏剂,所以胶黏剂能够通过使用如加热或者对固体胶黏剂使用热熔压力枪,然后立刻将***件放入空腔,并等其至冷却成为固态并将***件粘附于空腔上的方法直接用于***件或直接用于空腔内。此外,***件可以在加入胶黏剂之前放入空腔,然后可以使用加热枪对胶黏剂加热,从而填充空腔壁和***件之间的空间,等其等却至硬化粘结。盖子也可以被用到,盖子可以置于该***件的上方,并且设有一个或多个开口。热熔压力枪可以用来将可重塑环氧树脂胶黏剂注入一个或某一多个该开口中。当胶黏剂开始从一个或者某一多个开口中溢出时,这就能够作为空腔已填满的指标,从而避免了使用多余的胶黏剂。一旦胶黏剂足够硬,并且胶黏剂已经粘结(例如,在不到30分钟,不到20分钟,不到10分钟,或不到5分钟;甚至不到1分钟),该盖子就可被取下。
从另一个实施例中可知,该***件可以包括胶黏剂,比如将胶黏剂注模于该***件外部。在这种情况下,可对胶黏剂和***件加热至软化或将胶黏剂融化,从而该***件和融化的胶黏剂可以装入该空腔。在这种情况下,就要制定一个方法,使可重塑环氧胶粘剂轻微膨胀后能够完全填充空腔,并且粘附于腔壁上。另外,被注模的***件一旦被放入空腔内(即通过直接感应金属***件或者通过感应胶黏剂被金属填充物填充),就可对其进行加热。一旦停止加热,胶黏剂就会冷却至固态,从而提升了***件和夹层板结构的空腔内壁之间的粘结力。
另外,该胶黏剂能够是可重塑环氧树脂胶粘剂。这种可重塑环氧树脂胶粘剂有着很大的优势,因为他们的硬化和粘结的速度显著快于其他,从而减少了对于大型面板固化时所需的延长时间周期以及大型储存区域及空间的需求。由于有着更快的硬化速度,这也同样能够减少或限制在胶黏剂固化期间内使用压力和对***件定位的需求。虽然可重塑环氧树脂胶粘剂在室温下也是可以工作的,但是,加入加热步骤将胶黏剂软化或者融化使其能够移动或更加高效是可取的。可重塑环氧树脂胶粘剂几乎在加热停止后立刻就开始粘结、硬化、并且冷却固化,而且只需在10秒到60秒左右(例如,约30秒)内就可完全粘结。另外,使胶黏剂恢复至室温已经足够粘结,而附加的硬化步骤如冷却步骤也是可取的,但不是必须的。
此外,可重塑环氧树脂胶粘剂因为其保质期长所以是理想的。它也不像一些液体粘合剂那样需要进行冷藏。可重塑环氧树脂胶粘剂也可以通过再次加热以去除。也没有为了重新定位***件而返工面板的必要。此外,胶黏剂粘结和分开都非常快速(不到20分钟,不到10分钟,甚至不到5分钟)。该胶黏剂产生了最小的浪费量(尤其是与泵送浆产品相比),粘合剂可以快速方便的应用其必要量。该粘合剂需要最少的清理并保持干燥。此外,该胶黏剂跟其他胶黏剂(特别是泵送浆材料)相比气味更淡。
此处描述的可重塑环氧树脂胶粘剂优先包括双酚A二缩水甘油醚(BADGE)和单乙醇胺和可能具有80℃的Tg温度。对于某些应用,可能需要较高的玻璃化转变温度(Tg),并且,BADGE会被一种流动性较小的环氧单体所代替。这样的环氧单体包括芴二酚或1,6-萘二环氧型。同时,在有防火要求的领域内,BADGE可由双酚A环氧树脂替代。
另外,此处公开的可重塑环氧树脂材料也可被称为美国专利编号5,164,472;5,275,853;5,401,814和5,464,924中说明的聚(羟基氨基醚)(相),此处基于各种目的合并应用。这种聚醚可以通过一种二羟基芳族化合物二缩水甘油醚,如双酚A二缩水甘油醚,或者二环氧官能化的聚(环氧烷)或者其与伯胺或仲胺或胺官能化的聚(环氧烷混合物)或其混合物的化学反应来制备。这种材料通常具有较高的抗弯强度和模量比,通常比典型的聚烯烃(即聚乙烯和聚丙烯)高出不少,并且有在150到200℃温度下熔融加工的好处。
为了将该胶黏剂用作热熔胶黏剂,胶黏剂的粘度必须能够使其从一加压热熔枪设备中向外注射。理想情况下,胶粘剂的粘度至少为10Pa·s,而不到400Pa·s,甚至更加优选的,从50Pa·s至100Pa·s之间,其温度需在大约80℃至大约200℃,这是此处描述的典型的热熔融胶/***过程的工艺温度。为了可用性减少胶黏剂的粘稠度的行为,导致了硬化后的脆性。这样,胶黏剂可通过产生可重塑环氧树脂共聚物从而增韧,例如单乙醇胺和双官能环氧树脂和双官能环氧端基改性的弹性体。另一种办法是制备带有单乙醇胺和双官能环氧树脂的聚合物和添加核壳橡胶粒子。
一个热源可以用来软化胶黏剂,并提高其可用性。例如,可以通过感应加热***件、面板和/或胶黏剂内部的金属线进行加热。另外,也考虑到该胶黏剂内的金属(可能是金属填充物)本身可以被加热以使胶黏剂软化。加热胶黏剂的其他方法也可行。
有了此处公开的可重塑环氧树脂胶粘剂,就能够通过加温至胶黏剂Tg温度和/或熔点温度以上,从而使在胶黏剂和如***件和/或面板这样的基板之间的粘结脱开,从而能够分开被粘结的基板。
在一个特定的实施例中,所述的胶黏剂可用于在一个用于在航空航天飞行器内的夹层板内安装***件。该胶黏剂也可以注射成型或者注模于一***件或***件的一部分上面。胶黏剂可被激活,在***件放入面板内的空腔内之前,期间,或之后。该粘合胶必须具有足够的强度要求,以充分连接面板和支架。
除非另有说明,这里所用的本发明提出的,该类型(列表)中的任何一项,可被排除在该类型之外;和/或马库什群组中的任何一项可被排除在该群组之外。
除非另有说明,此处所列举的数值均包含较低值至较高值中以一个单位递增的所有数值,因而任何低值与高值之间至少包含两个单位。举例来说,如果此处说明了组件的量、性质或者工艺参数,例如温度、压力、时间以及类似的,比如是1到90的,优选取20到80,更加优选的取30到70,这是为了使本说明书的发明包括像这样的(例如,68到85,22到43,30到15,51到32等)中间区域的数值。同样,个别的中间值也在本发明的范围中。对于小于1的值,一个单位被认为是0.0001、0.001、0.01或0.1。这些只是具体的例子,所有可能的在最低值与最高值之间的数字组合均是可取的,均被认为是以类似的方式在本申请文件中被明确声明。可以看出,本发明中表达为“重量份数”的量也包括表达为重量百分数的相同的范围。因此,本发明中根据“由所得到的聚合物共混物组合物的‘x’重量份数”的方式表达的范围,也包括根据“所得到的聚合物共混物组合物的‘x’重量百分数”的方式表达的范围。
除非另有说明,所有的范围包括端点和端点之间的所有数字。在一个范围内使用“约”或“大约”适用于该范围的两端。因此,“约20至30”的目的是覆盖“约20至约30”,包括至少一个指定端点。

Claims (15)

1.一种组件与蜂窝结构的连接方法包括:
i于所述蜂窝结构上形成一空腔,所述空腔形成于一个或多个蜂窝单元内;
ii设置一***件,从而使所述组件与所述蜂窝结构连接于所述空腔内部:
a一可重塑环氧树脂胶黏剂注射于所述***件的周围;或
b一可膨胀可重塑环氧树脂胶黏剂注模于所述***件外部;
iii对所述可重塑环氧树脂胶黏剂加热;以及
iv将所述可重塑环氧树脂胶黏剂冷却至硬化并粘结,以使其粘附于所述空腔的一个或多个内壁上。
2.根据权利要求1所述的一种方法,其特征在于,所述***件能使一组件安装于所述蜂窝结构上,所述组件包括一铰链、夹子、手柄、螺栓、插头、锁、识别标签或其组合。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的一种方法,其特征在于,所述***件具有内螺纹用以容纳一螺栓。
4.根据权利要求1至3任意一条所述的一种方法,其特征在于,在硬化和粘结步骤之后,所述可重塑环氧树脂胶黏剂能够再次被加热至其玻璃化温度以上、熔化温度以上或上述两者以上的温度,从而使所述***件与所述空腔的一个或多个内壁之间脱胶。
5.根据权利要求1至4任意一条所述的一种方法,其特征在于,当所述可重塑环氧树脂胶黏剂恢复到室温时,所述硬化和粘结步骤被实现。
6.一种组件与蜂窝结构的连接方法包括:
i于所述蜂窝结构上形成一空腔,所述空腔形成于一个或多个蜂窝单元内;
ii设置一***件,从而使所述组件与所述蜂窝结构连接于所述空腔内;
iii加热一固体可重塑环氧树脂胶黏剂至软化;
iv将所述软化的可重塑环氧树脂胶黏剂***所述空腔内用以填充所述空腔的一个或多个内壁与所述***件之间的间隙;
v将所述可重塑环氧树脂胶黏剂冷却至硬化并粘结,以使其粘附于所述空腔的一个或多个内壁上。
7.根据权利要求6所述的一种方法,其特征在于,所述***件能使一组件安装于所述蜂窝结构上,所述组件包括一铰链、夹子、手柄、螺栓、插头、锁、识别标签或其组合。
8.根据权利要求6或7所述的一种方法,其特征在于,所述***件具有内螺纹用以容纳一螺栓。
9.根据权利要求6至8任意一条所述的一种方法,其特征在于,在硬化和粘结步骤之后,所述可重塑环氧树脂胶黏剂能够再次被加热至其玻璃化温度以上、熔化温度以上或上述两者以上的温度,从而使所述***件与所述空腔的一个或多个内壁之间脱胶。
10.根据权利要求6至9任意一条所述的一种方法,其特征在于,当所述可重塑环氧树脂胶黏剂恢复到室温时,所述硬化和粘结步骤被实现。
11.一种组件与蜂窝结构的连接方法包括:
i于所述蜂窝结构上形成一空腔,所述空腔形成于一个或多个蜂窝单元内;
ii将一可膨胀可重塑环氧树脂胶黏剂注模于一能够使所述组件安装于所述蜂窝结构上的***件的外部;
iii将所述***件放入所述空腔;
iv加热所述可重塑环氧树脂胶黏剂;并且
v将所述可重塑环氧树脂胶黏剂冷却至硬化并粘结,以使其粘附于所述空腔的一个或多个内壁上。
12.根据权利要求11所述的一种方法,其特征在于,所述***件能使一组件安装于所述蜂窝结构上,所述组件包括一铰链、夹子、手柄、螺栓、插头、锁、识别标签或其组合。
13.根据权利要求11或12所述的一种方法,其特征在于,所述***件具有内螺纹用以容纳一螺栓。
14.根据权利要求11至13任意一条所述的一种方法,其特征在于,在硬化和粘结步骤之后,所述可重塑环氧树脂胶黏剂能够再次被加热至其玻璃化温度以上、熔点以上或上述两者以上的温度,从而使所述***件与所述空腔的一个或多个内壁之间脱胶。
15.根据权利要求11至14任意一条所述的一种方法,其特征在于,当所述可重塑环氧树脂胶黏剂恢复到室温时,所述硬化和粘结步骤被实现。
