Abstract
本发明涉及一种液晶显示面板的修补结构,当该栅极驱动器中的一移位寄存器输出的栅极信号异常时,将该第一修补线与该移位寄存器对应之走线连接,该驱动芯片输出该栅极信号至该液晶显示面板下级移位寄存器的输入引脚;当该栅极驱动器中一移位寄存器的驱动控制信号异常时,将该第二修补线与该驱动控制信号对应之金属线连接,该驱动芯片输出该驱动控制信号至移位寄存器。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及一种修补结构,尤其是应用于液晶显示面板的修补结构。
背景技术
液晶显示器(Liquid Crystal Display; LCD)是目前广泛使用的一种平面显示器,其具有外形轻薄、省电以及无辐射等优点。液晶显示器的工作原理是利用改变液晶层两端的电压差来改变液晶层内的液晶分子的排列状态,用以改变液晶层的透光性,再配合背光模块所提供的光源以显示图像。一般而言,液晶显示器包括多个像素单元,源极驱动器以及栅极驱动器。源极驱动器用来提供多个数据信号至多个像素单元。栅极驱动器包含多级移位寄存器以产生多个栅极信号输入多个像素单元,据以控制多个数据信号的写入操作。在移位寄存器电路中,上一级输出的移位信号为下一级的启动信号,当某一级移位信号出现异常则会影响该移位信号下面的移位信号均会出现异常从而引起显示画面异常,降低显示品质。
发明内容
鉴于以上内容,有必要提供一种应用于液晶显示面板的修补结构。
一种液晶显示面板的修补结构,该液晶显示面板包括扫描线,与该扫描线相交的数据线,设置于该液晶显示面板边缘区域的栅极驱动器及源极驱动器,该栅极驱动器包括多级移位寄存器经走线连接扫描线以输出栅极信号,源极驱动器与该数据线电连接以输出数据信号,每一移位寄存器至少包括第一输入引脚,该第一输入引脚用于接收启动信号,该输出引脚用于输出栅极信号至走线。该修补结构包括:
第一修补线设置于该液晶显示面板的边缘区域且与该数据线平行设置,该第一修补线与该走线绝缘相交设置;
驱动芯片设置于该第一修补线的一端;
当该栅极驱动器中的一移位寄存器输出的栅极信号异常时,将该第一修补线与该移位寄存器对应输出的栅极信号出现异常之走线连接,该驱动芯片输出该栅极信号至该移位寄存器相邻的下级移位寄存器的第一输入引脚。
相较于现有技术,本发明的液晶显示面板的利用第一修补线以实现栅极信号的修补从而可避免因某一栅极信号异常而造成的画面显示问题。

具体实施方式
请参阅图1,图1是本发明的应用于液晶显示面板的修补结构一较佳实施方式结构示意图。该液晶显示面板10包括显示区域101及设置于该显示区域101周围的边缘区域103。该显示区域101设置复数扫描线11及与该扫描线11相交的数据线13。该边缘区域103设置栅极驱动器15,及源极驱动器19。栅极驱动器15经设置于该边缘区域的走线17与该扫描线11电连接,进而产生栅极信号驱动与扫描线11连接的薄膜晶体管。源极驱动器19与该数据线13电连接,进而产生数据信号写入像素电极。其中,每一扫描线11经一走线17与栅极驱动器15电连接。该液晶显示面板10还包括设置于该边缘区域103的修补结构20。
本发明的修补结构20包括第一修补线21、第二修补线23、及驱动芯片25。该第一修补线21、第二修补线23设置于该液晶显示面板10的边缘区域且与该数据线13平行设置。该第一修补线21、第二修补线23与该液晶显示面板10边缘区域103的走线17相交绝缘配置。该驱动芯片25设置于该第一修补线21、第二修补线23的一端,且该驱动芯片25设置于一软性电路板27上。在本实施方式中,该驱动芯片25与该源极驱动器19设置于该液晶显示面板10的同一侧。
请一并参阅图2,图2是图1所示的的栅极驱动器及修补结构的连接示意图。该栅极驱动器15包括多级移位寄存器151。每一移位寄存器151至少包括第一输入引脚stv、第二输入引脚va及输出引脚out。该多级移位寄存器151可依据启动信号STV及时钟信号CLK通过输出引用OUT依序输出栅极信号G1、G2、G3,……Gn(n为自然数)。每一移位寄存器151的输出引脚out电连接至相邻的下级移位寄存器151的第一输入引脚stv,其中上级输出的栅极信号作为下级移位寄存器的启动信号,如第一级移位寄存器151输出的栅极信号G1为该第二级移位寄存器151的启动信号STV。该每一移位寄存器151根据启动信号生成一驱动控制信号Va,该移位寄存器151在该驱动控制信号Va与该时钟信号CLK控制下生成栅极信号。在本实施方式中该驱动控制信号为一脉冲信号。
该第一修补线21用于修补该栅极信号,该第二修补线23用于修补该驱动控制信号Va。该第一修补线21设置于该走线17的上方,该第二修补线23与该第一修补线21同层设置。该每一移位寄存器151还与一金属线29连接,当某一移位寄存器151的驱动控制信号异常时,该金属线29用于接收该第二修补线23传输的驱动控制信号Va并将该驱动控制信号传送至该第二输入引脚va。
该驱动芯片25与该第一修补线21、第二修补线23绝缘设置。
请一并参阅图3及图4,图3是图2所示的修补结构沿III-III线的剖面示意图,图4是图2所示的修补结构沿IV-IV线的剖面示意图。该第一修补线21与走线17之间设置绝缘层28,该第二修补线23与走线17之间亦设置绝缘层28。该第二修补线28与该金属线29之间亦设置绝缘层28。该绝缘层28的材料可以是,但不限于氮化硅、氧化硅等材料。
当某一级移位寄存器151输出的栅极信号出现异常时,使用镭射技术将第一修补线21与栅极信号异常之走线17连接。同时将该驱动芯片25与第一修补线21之间通过第一焊接电阻R1连接,该驱动芯片25输出相应的栅极信号至该走线17及该移位寄存器151的下级移位寄存器的第一输入引脚stv作为启动信号STV。
当某一移位寄存器151的驱动控制信号异常时,使用镭射技术将第二修补线23与对应金属线29连接。同时将该驱动芯片25与第二修补线23之间通过第二焊接电阻R2连接,该驱动芯片25输出相应的驱动控制信号经该金属线29传输至该移位寄存器的第二输入引脚va作为驱动控制信号Va。
相较于现有技术,前述的液晶显示面板修补结构包括第一修补线用于修补栅极驱动器输出的栅极信号,第二修补线用于修补栅极驱动器内移位寄存器的驱动控制信号,从而可避免栅极驱动损坏对显示画面的影响。
以上实施例仅用以说明本发明的技术方案而非限制,尽管参照较佳实施例对本发明进行了详细说明,本领域的普通技术人员应当理解,可以对本发明的技术方案进行修改或等同替换,而不脱离本发明技术方案的精神和范围。
Claims (11)
1.一种液晶显示面板的修补结构,该液晶显示面板包括扫描线,与该扫描线相交的数据线,设置于该液晶显示面板边缘区域的栅极驱动器及源极驱动器,该栅极驱动器包括多级移位寄存器经走线连接扫描线以输出栅极信号,源极驱动器与该数据线电连接以输出数据信号,每一移位寄存器至少包括第一输入引脚,该第一输入引脚用于接收启动信号,该输出引脚用于输出栅极信号至走线;该修补结构包括:
第一修补线设置于该液晶显示面板的边缘区域且与该数据线平行设置,该第一修补线与该走线绝缘相交设置;
驱动芯片设置于该第一修补线的一端;
当该栅极驱动器中的一移位寄存器输出的栅极信号异常时,将该第一修补线与该移位寄存器对应输出的栅极信号出现异常之走线连接,该驱动芯片输出该栅极信号至该移位寄存器相邻的下级移位寄存器的第一输入引脚。
2.如权利要求1所述的液晶显示面板的修补结构,该每一移位寄存器还包括第二输入引脚用于接收驱动控制信号,该修补结构还包括:
第二修补线设置于该液晶显示面板的边缘区域且与该第一修补线平行设置,该第二修补线经一绝缘设置的金属线与每一移位寄存器的第二输入引脚连接;
驱动芯片设置于该第二修补线的一端;
当该栅极驱动器中一移位寄存器的驱动控制信号异常时,将该第二修补线与该驱动控制信号对应之金属线连接,该驱动芯片输出该驱动控制信号至移位寄存器。
3.如权利要求2所述的液晶显示面板的修补结构,其特征在于,该移位寄存器的输出引脚电连接至相邻的下级移位寄存器的第一输入引脚,该多级移位寄存器依据启动信号及时钟信号依序输出栅极信号,其中上级输出的栅极信号作为下级移位寄存器的启动信号。
4.如权利要求3所述的液晶显示面板的修补结构,该每一移位寄存器根据启动信号生成一驱动控制信号,该移位寄存器在该驱动控制信号与该时钟信号控制下生成栅极信号。
5.如权利要求4所述的液晶显示面板的修补结构,其特征在于,该第一修补线与第二修补线由金属材料制成,且该第一修补线与第二修补线同层设置。
6.如权利要求5所述的液晶显示面板的修补结构,其特征在于,当某一移位寄存器的驱动控制信号异常时,该驱动芯片输出驱动控制信号至该第二修补线及金属线传输至该移位寄存器的第二输入引脚。
7.如权利要求6所述的修补结构,其特征在于,该第一修补线与该走线之间设置绝缘层,该第二修补线与走线、金属线之间设置绝缘层。
8.如权利要求7所述的液晶显示面板的修补结构,其特征在于,该绝缘层的材料为氮化硅或氧化硅。
9.如权利要求7所述的液晶显示面板的修补结构,其特征在于,该驱动芯片设置于软性电路板上,且该驱动芯片与该源极驱动器设置于该液晶显示面板的同一侧。
10.如权利要求7所述的液晶显示面板的修补结构,其特征在于,当某一级移位寄存器输出的栅极信号出现异常时,使用镭射技术将第一修补线与对应走线连接,该驱动芯片与第一修补线之间通过第一焊接电阻连接,该驱动芯片输出相应的栅极信号至该走线及该移位寄存器的下级寄存器作为启动信号。
11.如权利要求7所述的液晶显示面板的修补结构,其特征在于,当某一移位寄存器的驱动控制信号异常时,使用镭射技术将第二修补线与对应金属线连接,该驱动芯片与第二修补线之间通过第二焊接电阻连接,该驱动芯片输出相应的驱动控制信号至该金属线作为该移位寄存器的驱动控制信号。
