背景技术

图1示出了导管装置和组件的示例,该导管装置和组件可以(但不必)与在此描述的抗菌成分结合起来使用。然而,当与在此描述的抗菌成分一起使用时,导管装置可以提供消毒和/或治疗效果。
如图1所示,封装件100包括与导管104结合在一起的一个或多个不同部位的清洁装置102。封装件100可以包括透明的柔性聚合物封装,该封装允许用户在使用之前观察并检查封装件的内容。清洁装置102和导管104可以被分别密封在封装件100的独立的隔间,或者,它们可以被一起密封在封装件100的共同的隔间。清洁装置102可以用于在***导管104之前对导管***部位进行清洁。根据一个实施例,清洁装置可以是一块材料,例如一块织物、棉签或海绵。根据一个实施例,清洁装置102可以是清洁帽、保护帽,或二者都是,如下文进一步所描述的。

图2A、图2B以及图3A-图3C示出了若干示例性的端口清洁和保护帽的细节。每个帽都由诸如(但不限于)聚乙烯、聚丙烯和/或共聚物材料的材料制成。帽还可以包括防紫外线的材料或试剂,以在储存、运输等期间保持过氧化氢的完整性。额外地或替代地,帽自身可以装在包含有紫外线防护材料的封装中,以抑制过氧化氢的分解。

边缘206被设计为“非接触式边缘”,边缘206从保护帽200的主体的周边径向延伸,从而在使用时使用户的手指与保护帽的内表面发生接触的可能性降到最小。在所示出的实施例中,能量导向器204被径向布置在保护帽的开口的外侧,而在边缘206的外部边界的内侧。这确保了边缘206在导能器204内侧的部分在使用之前保持在无菌状态。非接触式边缘206提高了边缘206在导能器204内侧的部分即使在使用时也依然保持无菌的可能性。在其它实施例中,导能器可以被布置在边缘206上的任何地方(例如在中央(如图所示)、在边缘的靠近开口的内周边或者在边缘的外周边)。

图3A-图3C分别示出了IV端口保护帽的若干变体300A、300B以及300C(总的称为保护帽300),用于与外直径(OD)不同的IV端口连接件(例如,凸形连接件)一起使用。这些实施例的保护帽300是滑动配合的帽,因为它们在具有不同OD的IV端口连接件(因为不是所有的端口连接件都有标准化的OD)的上方滑动并且牢固地配合在这些IV端口连接件上。

根据一个实施例,导管组件包括抗菌成分。与在此所描述的方法结合起来使用的示例性抗菌成分可以包括(例如)2010年9月1日提交的美国专利申请12/874,188中(Tennican等人名下的)所描述的那些,在此通过引用将该专利申请并入。在这种情况下,抗菌成分可以包括水(H2O)、浓的无毒螯合剂(例如,乙二胺四乙酸(EDTA)(例如,二钠EDTA、二钠钙EDTA、镁EDTA、镓EDTA)或柠檬酸钠(或酸、盐、衍生物或其它形式的EDTA或柠檬酸钠))、短链一元醇(例如,具有分子式C2H5OH和实验式C2H6O的乙醇)、以及浓的小分子氧化剂(例如,过氧化氢(H2O2))。在一个具体的示例中,成分可以基本地由水、EDTA、乙醇以及过氧化氢构成。然而,在其它实施例中,其它抗菌成分可以与本申请所描述的装置结合起来使用。
取决于具体应用的需要,抗菌成分可以是液体形式或凝胶形式,并且可以与一个或多个载体或稀释剂结合。例如,在抗菌成分用作手部杀菌剂的应用中,抗菌成分可以在凝胶中。再如,如果抗菌成分用作清洁剂、冲洗溶液或刺激剂,抗菌成分可以是液体形式。在这种情况下,多种组分的浓度(例如,所期望的消毒水平)可以取决于成分是否被直接应用到活组织或医疗装置,和/或是否避免对成分被直接或间接(例如,通过成分被应用或已被应用到的医疗装置)应用到的组织产生刺激。在又一个示例中,抗菌成分可以包括润滑剂(例如,甘油)、表面活性剂或乳化剂(例如,单月桂酸甘油酯(GML))等或与其结合,并被应用到***进病人身体的导管、气管导管、镜(scope)、仪器或其它设备。
在其它实施例中,对于针对局部感染和/或尿道、膀胱、输尿管、肾盂中恶性前的和恶性的病变的治疗处理,抗菌成分(例如在此所描述的这些)可以通过导管或通过经由膀胱镜或输尿管镜或肾镜直接观察被输送。
在又一些其它实施例中,抗菌成分(例如在此所描述的这些)可以用作刺激剂来冲洗导管,以防止菌膜的生成和/或粉碎结石的形成。
尽管本申请对具有具体结构特征和/或方法步骤的实施例进行了描述,但是,可以理解的是,权利要求不一定被限制到所描述的具体特征或方法步骤。相反,具体特征和方法步骤仅仅是一些落入本申请权利要求范围的解释性实施例。

Claims (22)

1.一种导管组件,包括封装件,所述封装件包括导管和至少一个清洁装置,
其中,所述清洁装置是清洁帽、保护帽或二者都是,以及
其中,所述导管具有至少一个端口。
2.根据权利要求1所述的导管组件,其中,所述封装件是透明的。
3.根据权利要求1所述的导管组件,其中,所述导管和所述至少一个清洁装置中的每一个被分别密封在所述封装件的独立的隔间中。
4.根据权利要求1所述的导管组件,其中,所述导管是导尿管。
5.根据权利要求1所述的导管配件,其中,所述封装件进一步包括抗菌凝胶润滑剂,所述抗菌凝胶润滑剂涂于和/或包含在所述导管的末端区域。
6.根据权利要求5所述的导管组件,其中,所述封装件的一部分沿着所述导管的长度被紧密地熔合到导管中间的外部,以防止所述抗菌凝胶润滑剂从所述末端区域移开并覆盖所述导管的另一区域。
7.根据权利要求1所述的导管组件,其中,所述导管的内部的至少一部分包含有抗菌成分。
8.根据权利要求1所述的导管组件,进一步包括涂抹器材料,所述涂抹器材料包含在所述至少一个清洁装置的内部。
9.根据权利要求8所述的导管组件,其中,所述涂抹器材料包括抗菌成分。
10.一种使用导管的方法,包括:
提供导管组件,所述导管组件包括封装件,所述封装件包括导管和至少一个清洁装置,其中,所述导管具有至少一个端口;
打开所述封装件,以去掉所述至少一个清洁装置;
将所述导管安装在泌尿道导管***部位;以及
用所述至少一个清洁装置清洁所述端口;
其中,所述导管和所述至少一个清洁装置中的每个清洁装置被分别密封在所述封装件的独立的隔间中。
11.根据权利要求10所述的方法,其中,所述封装件还包括至少一个保护帽,所述方法进一步包括用所述保护帽盖住所述端口。
12.根据权利要求10所述的方法,其中,所述封装件进一步包括抗菌凝胶润滑剂,所述抗菌凝胶润滑剂涂于和/或包含在所述导管的末端区域。
13.根据权利要求12所述的方法,其中,所述封装件的一部分沿着所述导管的长度被紧密地熔合到导管中间的外部,以防止所述抗菌凝胶润滑剂从所述末端区域移开并覆盖所述导管的另一区域。
14.根据权利要求10所述的方法,进一步包括涂抹器材料,所述涂抹器材料包含在所述端口清洁装置的内部。
15.根据权利要求14所述的方法,其中,所述涂抹器材料包括抗菌成分。
16.根据权利要求10所述的方法,进一步包括通过所述端口获取抽样。
17.一种对泌尿道部位施用抗菌成分的方法,包括:
提供导管组件,所述导管组件包括封装件,所述封装件包括导管和至少一个清洁装置,其中,所述导管和所述至少一个清洁装置中的每个清洁装置被分别密封在所述封装件的独立的隔间中,并且所述导管具有至少一个端口;
打开所述封装件,以去掉所述至少一个清洁装置;
将所述导管安装在泌尿道导管***部位,所述导管具有至少一个端口;
用端口清洁装置清洁所述端口;以及
通过所述端口施用抗菌成分。
18.根据权利要求17所述的方法,其中,所述封装件还包括至少一个保护帽,所述方法进一步包括用所述保护帽盖住所述端口。
19.根据权利要求17所述的方法,其中,所述封装件进一步包括抗菌凝胶润滑剂,所述抗菌凝胶润滑剂涂于和/或包含在所述导管的末端区域。
20.根据权利要求19所述的方法,其中,所述封装件的一部分沿着所述导管的长度被紧密地熔合到导管中间的外部,以防止所述抗菌凝胶润滑剂从所述末端区域移开并覆盖所述导管的另一区域。
21.根据权利要求17所述的方法,进一步包括涂抹器材料,所述涂抹器材料包含在所述端口清洁装置的内部。
22.根据权利要求21所述的方法,其中,所述涂抹器材料包括抗菌成分。
