Abstract

本发明公开了一种膨胀石墨改性的注塑级超高分子量聚乙烯及其制备方法。其由重量比为60~100:5~50:1~10的超高分子量聚乙烯、高密度聚乙烯和膨胀石墨组成;制备方法是将超高分子量聚乙烯、高密度聚乙烯和膨胀石墨加入到橡塑密炼机中密炼,然后通过破碎机破碎,最后挤出造粒。由于膨胀石墨在较高载荷和剪切速度下被剥离,可得到纳米分散的膨胀石墨,能和基体形成连续、均匀稳定的润滑膜,在超高分子量聚乙烯复合材料中起润滑作用,可改善聚乙烯链间的能量传递,使得超高分子量聚乙烯链段相对滑动变得容易,从而改善超高分子量聚乙烯的流动性。另外,膨胀石墨还有利于降低该复合材料的摩擦系数和提高其耐磨性。

Description

膨胀石墨改性的注塑级超高分子量聚乙烯及其制备方法
技术领域
本发明涉及一种改性超高分子量聚乙烯,具体是涉及一种膨胀石墨改性的注塑级超高分子量聚乙烯,同时,本发明还涉及一种该膨胀石墨改性的注塑级超高分子量聚乙烯的制备方法。
背景技术
超高分子量聚乙烯(UHMW-PE)是一种线性结构的具有优异综合性能的热塑性工程塑料,具有优良的抗冲击性、耐磨损性、耐化学腐蚀性及自身润滑性等性能,他已大量应用于具有上述特性的苛刻环境中,例如在纺织、采矿、化工、机械、建筑、医疗、航空以及军工等领域具有广泛的应用。但却无法克服超高分子量聚乙烯粘度大、很难流动且很难注塑等缺点,使得在一定程度上限制了超高分子量聚乙烯的应用范围。
中国专利CN1245179A公开了一种可用挤出法进行加工的超高分子量聚乙烯组合物。但由于随着十氢化萘、低分子量聚乙烯、酰胺类润滑剂等的加入,复合材料的拉伸强度与纯的超高分子量聚乙烯相比还有一定差距,且熔融指数偏低,加工流动性不好,不利于复合材料的顺利挤出。
中国专利CN1191230A公开了一种挤出和注塑级超高分子量聚乙烯改性专用料的制备方法,用超高分子量聚乙烯加入一定质量百分比的LCP、抗氧化剂和添加剂,生产出能直接进行挤出和注塑的超高分子量聚乙烯改性专用料,但是LCP价格昂贵,在一定程度上限制了其市场推广。而且随着LCP用量的增大,超高分子量聚乙烯复合材料的冲击强度和耐磨性下降较大。
发明内容
本发明要解决的技术问题为克服现有技术中的不足指出,提供一种膨胀石墨改性的注塑级超高分子量聚乙烯。
本发明要解决的另一个技术问题为提供上述该膨胀石墨改性的注塑级超高分子量聚乙烯的制备方法。
为解决本发明的技术问题,所采用的技术方案为:一种膨胀石墨改性的注塑级超高分子量聚乙烯,其由重量比为60~100:5~50:1~10的超高分子量聚乙烯、高密度聚乙烯和膨胀石墨组成;所述的超高分子量聚乙烯为粘均分子量大于200万的产品,所述的高密度聚乙烯为注塑级,选自在温度为190℃、压力为2.16kg的测试条件下的熔融指数为1~30g/10min的产品,如扬子石化产品2208J、1300J或2100J;所述膨胀石墨改性的注塑级超高分子量聚乙烯的熔融指数≥1.2g/10min,拉伸强度≥27MPa,简支梁缺口冲击强度≥62kJ/m2,摩擦系数≤0.25。
作为膨胀石墨改性的注塑级超高分子量聚乙烯的进一步改进,该膨胀石墨改性的注塑级超高分子量聚乙烯中,超高分子量聚乙烯、高密度聚乙烯和膨胀石墨的重量比为70~90:10~30:3~5。所述的膨胀石墨为体积膨胀倍数大于200倍的产品。
为了解决本发明的另一个技术问题,所采用的技术方案为:上述膨胀石墨改性的注塑级超高分子量聚乙烯的制备方法,包括混炼法,特别是先将超高分子量聚乙烯、高密度聚乙烯和膨胀石墨加入到橡塑密炼机中,在温度为130~150℃,转速为40~60rpm的条件下密炼不超过10min,然后通过破碎机破碎,最后通过双螺杆挤出机挤出造粒,得到膨胀石墨改性的注塑级超高分子量聚乙烯。
作为膨胀石墨改性的注塑级超高分子量聚乙烯制备方法的进一步改进,所述的双螺杆挤出机的螺杆温度为160~220℃,螺杆转速为80~200rpm。超高分子量聚乙烯、高密度聚乙烯和膨胀石墨的重量比为70~90:10~30:3~5。所述的膨胀石墨为体积膨胀倍数大于200倍的产品。
本发明相对于现有技术,其有益效果是:其一,由于膨胀石墨在较高载荷和剪切速度下被剥离,可得到纳米分散的膨胀石墨,能和基体形成连续、均匀稳定的润滑膜,在超高分子量聚乙烯复合材料中起润滑作用,可改善超高分子量聚乙烯链间的能量传递,使得超高分子量聚乙烯链段相对滑动变得容易,从而改善超高分子量聚乙烯的流动性。另外,膨胀石墨还有利于降低超高分子量聚乙烯复合材料的摩擦系数和提高其耐磨性。其二,制备方法科学、有效,制得的注塑级超高分子量聚乙烯具有高耐磨、高冲击强度、流动性好且成本较低,可满足注塑加工的需求。
作为有益效果的进一步体现,其一,优选超高分子量聚乙烯、高密度聚乙烯和膨胀石墨的重量比为70~90:10~30:3~5,所述的膨胀石墨为体积膨胀倍数大于200倍的产品,可以进一步提高注塑级超高分子量聚乙烯的耐磨性、冲击强度以及流动性。其二,优选双螺杆挤出机的螺杆温度为160~220℃,螺杆转速为80~200rpm,通过合理的设置螺杆温度以及转速,使物料混合均匀性好,易于注塑成型。
具体实施方式
下面通过具体实施例来对本发明做进一步说明,所有原料均来自于市场或依现有技术制备,下述实施例所述超高分子量聚乙烯选自九江中科鑫星新材料有限公司产品(粘均分子量大于200万);所述高密度聚乙烯选自扬子石化产品2208J(熔融指数3.5-7.5g/10min)、1300J(熔融指数9-19 g/10min)或2100J(熔融指数4.0-9.0 g/10min);所述膨胀石墨选自上海一帆石墨有限公司(体积膨胀倍数大于200倍)。
实施例1
将90kg超高分子量聚乙烯(粘均分子量200万)、10kg高密度聚乙烯(2208J)、3kg膨胀石墨(体积膨胀倍数200倍)加入到橡塑密炼机中,在温度为150℃,转速为40rpm的条件下密炼10min,然后用破碎机破碎,最后通过双螺杆挤出机挤出造粒,得到膨胀石墨改性的注塑级超高分子量聚乙烯复合材料。螺杆温度为160℃,螺杆转速为80rpm。所得超高分子量聚乙烯共混改性物的熔融指数1.2g/10min,拉伸强度28MPa,简支梁缺口冲击强度83kJ/m2,摩擦系数0.15。
实施例2
将90kg超高分子量聚乙烯(粘均分子量300万)、10kg高密度聚乙烯(2208J)、5kg膨胀石墨(体积膨胀倍数300倍)加入到橡塑密炼机中,在温度为150℃,转速为50rpm的条件下密炼10min,然后用破碎机破碎,最后通过双螺杆挤出机挤出造粒,得到膨胀石墨改性的注塑级超高分子量聚乙烯复合材料。螺杆温度为180℃,螺杆转速为120rpm。所得超高分子量聚乙烯共混改性物的熔融指数1.5g/10min,拉伸强度27MPa,简支梁缺口冲击强度81kJ/m2,摩擦系数0.12。
实施例3
将80kg超高分子量聚乙烯(粘均分子量300万)、20kg高密度聚乙烯(1300J)、3kg膨胀石墨(体积膨胀倍数200倍)加入到橡塑密炼机中,在温度为150℃,转速为60rpm的条件下密炼10min,然后用破碎机破碎,最后通过双螺杆挤出机挤出造粒,得到膨胀石墨改性的注塑级超高分子量聚乙烯复合材料。螺杆温度为220℃,螺杆转速为200rpm。所得超高分子量聚乙烯共混改性物的熔融指数2.2g/10min,拉伸强度28MPa,简支梁缺口冲击强度75kJ/m2,摩擦系数0.18。
实施例4
将80kg超高分子量聚乙烯(粘均分子量300万)、20kg高密度聚乙烯(1300J)、5kg膨胀石墨(体积膨胀倍数300倍)加入到橡塑密炼机中,在温度为130℃,转速为50rpm的条件下密炼10min,然后用破碎机破碎,最后通过双螺杆挤出机挤出造粒,得到膨胀石墨改性的注塑级超高分子量聚乙烯复合材料。螺杆温度为200℃,螺杆转速为160rpm。所得超高分子量聚乙烯共混改性物的熔融指数2.8g/10min,拉伸强度29MPa,简支梁缺口冲击强度71kJ/m2,摩擦系数0.16。
实施例5
将70kg超高分子量聚乙烯(粘均分子量400万)、30kg高密度聚乙烯(2100J)、3kg膨胀石墨(体积膨胀倍数200倍)加入到橡塑密炼机中,在温度为140℃,转速为50rpm的条件下密炼10min,然后用破碎机破碎,最后通过双螺杆挤出机挤出造粒,得到膨胀石墨改性的注塑级超高分子量聚乙烯复合材料。螺杆温度为220℃,螺杆转速为120rpm。所得超高分子量聚乙烯共混改性物的熔融指数3.8g/10min,拉伸强度30MPa,简支梁缺口冲击强度65kJ/m2,摩擦系数0.25。
实施例6
将70kg超高分子量聚乙烯(粘均分子量400万)、30kg高密度聚乙烯(2100J)、5kg膨胀石墨(体积膨胀倍数300倍)加入到橡塑密炼机中,在温度为150℃,转速为50rpm的条件下密炼10min,然后用破碎机破碎,最后通过双螺杆挤出机挤出造粒,得到膨胀石墨改性的注塑级超高分子量聚乙烯复合材料。螺杆温度为160℃,螺杆转速为200rpm。所得超高分子量聚乙烯共混改性物的熔融指数4.3g/10min,拉伸强度29MPa,简支梁缺口冲击强度62kJ/m2,摩擦系数0.21。
以上所述的实施例仅仅是对本发明的优选实施方式进行描述,并非对本发明的范围进行限定,在不脱离本发明设计精神的前提下,本领域普通技术人员对本发明的技术方案作出的各种变形和改进,均应落入本发明权利要求书确定的保护范围内。

Claims (3)

1.一种膨胀石墨改性的注塑级超高分子量聚乙烯,其特征在于:由重量比为70~90:10~30:3~5的超高分子量聚乙烯、高密度聚乙烯和膨胀石墨组成;所述的超高分子量聚乙烯为粘均分子量大于200万的产品,所述的高密度聚乙烯为在温度为190℃,压力为2.16kg的测试条件下的熔融指数为1~30g/10min的产品;所述的膨胀石墨为体积膨胀倍数大于200倍的产品。
2.制备如权利要求1所述膨胀石墨改性的注塑级超高分子量聚乙烯的方法,包括混炼法,其特征在于:先将超高分子量聚乙烯、高密度聚乙烯和膨胀石墨加入到橡塑密炼机中,在温度为130~150℃,转速为40~60rpm的条件下密炼不超过10min,然后通过破碎机破碎,最后通过双螺杆挤出机挤出造粒,得到膨胀石墨改性的注塑级超高分子量聚乙烯。
3.根据权利要求2所述的膨胀石墨改性的注塑级超高分子量聚乙烯的制备方法,其特征在于:所述的双螺杆挤出机的螺杆温度为160~220℃,螺杆转速为80~200rpm。
