Abstract

本发明公开一种液晶模块及其前框构造,所述液晶模块包含一背光模块、一液晶面板及一前框构造。所述液晶面板设于所述背光模块上方;所述前框构造用于抵压固定所述液晶面板于所述背光模块上。本发明的液晶模块通过采用一透明材质的前框构造,可使得所述液晶模块在外观上具有窄边框/无边框的效果,并且具有较好的固定强度。

Description

液晶模块及其前框构造
【技术领域】
本发明涉及一种液晶模块,特别是涉及一种具有透明的前框构造的液晶模块。
【背景技术】
液晶显示器(liquid crystal display,LCD)是利用液晶材料的特性来显示图像的一种平板显示装置(flat panel display,FPD),其相较于其它显示装置而言更具轻薄、低驱动电压及低功耗等优点,已经成为整个消费市场上的主流产品。然而,液晶显示器的液晶材料无法自主发光,必须借助外在提供光源,因此液晶显示器中又另外设有背光模块以提供所需的光源。
一般而言,背光模块可依其规模的要求,以灯管的位置做分类,发展出侧光式(Edge lighting)结构与直下型(Bottom lighting)结构。其中,侧光式结构的发光源为摆在侧边的单支光源;直下型结构的光源则放置于正下方。背光模块所用的灯管须具备亮度高及寿命长等特色,目前有冷阴极萤光灯管(Cold cathode fluorescent lamp,CCFL)、热阴极萤光灯管、发光二极管(Light emitting diode,发光二极管)及电激发光(EL)等。
其中,冷阴极萤光灯管具有高辉度、高效率、寿命长、高演色性等特性,加上圆柱状外形因此很容易与光反射组件组合成薄板状照明装置,因此,以冷阴极萤光灯管为主的背光源曾是背光模块的主流。然而,冷阴极萤光灯管由于管内含有汞蒸气,因此,在环保意识高涨的今天逐渐被趋势所淘汰。由于发光二极管(LED)做为背光光源比冷阴极荧光灯管(CCFL)具有节能环保等优势,因此以LED取代CCFL将是背光发展的趋势,业界通常称发光二极管的发光构造为灯条(Light bar)。
通过以LED作为背光源,液晶显示器或液晶电视更朝向窄边框的设计方向发展。然而,在常规设计下,当液晶显示器的边框越窄时,液晶模组的前框压盖固定液晶面板的地方将变得越窄小,因此液晶面板容易从框架中跳脱出来,产品的可靠性会大幅度地下降。
因此,有必要提供一种液晶模块及其前框构造,以解决现有技术所存在的问题。
【发明内容】
本发明的主要目的是提供一种液晶模块及其前框构造,以解决现有技术中,当液晶显示器或液晶电视朝向窄边框设计时,由于液晶模块的前框变窄小,使得液晶面板容易脱出的问题。
为达上述目的,本发明提供一种液晶模块,其包含:
一背光模块;
一液晶面板,设于所述背光模块上方;及
一前框构造,由一透明材质所制成,包含多个边框部及多个上缘部,所述边框部固定于所述背光模块上,所述上缘部由上而下地抵压固定所述液晶面板于所述背光模块上。
在本发明的一实施例中,所述前框构造通过卡合手段或螺固手段固定于所述背光模块上。
在本发明的一实施例中,所述前框构造是一分段组合式的前框构造。
在本发明的一实施例中,所述背光模块的面积等于或小于所述液晶面板的面积。
在本发明的一实施例中,所述背光模块包含:
一背板;
一导光板,设于所述背板上;
一光学膜片组,设于所述导光板上;
至少一发光二极管灯条,设于所述导光板的边缘,朝所述导光板发射光线;及
一胶框,设于所述背板的边缘上,由上而下固定所述光学膜片组及所述导光板于所述背板上。
为达上述目的,本发明另提供一种液晶模块的前框构造,其由一透明材质所制成,包含多个边框部及多个上缘部,所述边框部固定于一背光模块上,所述上缘部由上而下地抵压固定一液晶面板于所述背光模块上。
在本发明的一实施例中,所述前框构造的透明材质是一透明塑胶材质。
在本发明的一实施例中,所述前框构造通过多个螺固元件固定于所述背光模块上。
在本发明的一实施例中,所述前框构造的边框部下缘另包含多个下卡合部,与所述背光模块对应的多个卡槽形成卡合固定。
在本发明的一实施例中,所述前框构造包含四个直条状的分段式前框构造。
在本发明中,通过采用一种透明材质的前框构造,可使得所述液晶模块在外观上具有窄边框/无边框的效果,并且具有较好的固定强度。

请参照图1所示,图1是本发明第一实施例的液晶模块的立体分解示意图。本发明一种液晶模块100包含一背光模块10、一液晶面板20及一前框构造30。所述液晶面板20设于所述背光模块10的上方;所述前框构造30用于抵压固定所述液晶面板20于所述背光模块10上。
详细来说,所述前框构造30包含边框部(未标示)及上缘部(未标示),所述前框构造30的剖面大致形成一倒L型。其中,所述边框部固定于所述背光模块10上,所述上缘部由上而下地抵压固定所述液晶面板20于所述背光模块10上。
在本实施例中,所述前框构造30是由一透明材质所制成,所述透明材质优选是具有95%的光透过率。例如,所述前框构造30是由透明的塑胶材质所制成,如PMMA(俗称压克力)、MS(甲基丙烯酸甲酯-苯乙烯)或PC(聚碳酸脂)。然而,本发明的所述前框构造30的透明材质并不限于此,任何透明及具有一定强度的材质皆能被考虑用来制作本发明的所述前框构造30。
请参照图2所示,图2是本发明第一实施例的液晶模块的立体组装示意图。如图2所示,所述前框构造30抵压固定所述液晶面板20于所述背光模块10上,因而组成所述液晶模块100。并且,由于所述前框构造30是一透明的塑胶材质所制成的,因此其上缘部可让所述液晶面板20边缘的影像穿透,也就是说,所述前框构造30的上缘部可设计得较为宽大,因此可使得所述液晶模块100在外观上具有窄边框/无边框的效果,并且具有较好的固定强度。
再者,所述前框构造30可通过多种不同的方案固定在所述背光模块10上。如图1所示,在本实施例中,所述背光模块10包含一背板11、一导光板12及一胶框13,其中所述导光板12设于所述背板11上;所述胶框13设于所述背板11的边缘上,并且由上而下固定所述所述导光板12于所述背板11上。所述前框构造30的边框部下缘另包含多个下卡合部31,所述背光模块10对应的具有多个卡槽131。所述前框构造30的下卡合部31与所述背光模块10的卡槽131形成对应的卡合固定,以抵压固定所述液晶面板20于所述背光模块10上。
优选地,所述背光模块10的面积等于或小于所述液晶面板20的面积,以控制所述背光模块10的面积不要大于所述液晶面板20的面积,以配合液晶显示器或液晶电视窄边框的设计。
请参照图3所示,图3是本发明第二实施例的液晶模块的局部侧剖视示意图。本发明第二实施例的液晶模块100a与本发明第一实施例的液晶模块100大致相似,因此沿用相同的组件名称,但二者的不同之处在于:在本实施例中,所述前框构造30是通过卡合手段固定于所述背光模块10上。如图3所示,所述背光模块10包含一背板11、一导光板12及一光学膜片组(未标示),所述导光板12设于所述背板11上;所述光学膜片组设于所述导光板12上。所述背光模块10另包含及至少一发光二极管灯条(未绘示),所述至少一发光二极管灯条设于所述导光板12的边缘,并朝所述导光板12发射光线。另外,所述前框构造30设有多个孔口31a,所述背光模块10(例如背板11上)对应设有多个卡勾111a,通过所述背光模块10的卡勾111a与所述前框构造30的孔口31a,所述前框构造30与所述背光模块10形成卡合固定,并抵压固定一液晶面板20于所述背光模块10上。
请参照图4所示,图4是本发明第三实施例的液晶模块的局部侧剖视示意图。本发明第三实施例的液晶模块100b与本发明第二实施例的液晶模块100大致相似,因此沿用相同的组件名称,但二者的不同之处在于:在本实施例中,所述前框构造30是通过螺固手段固定于所述背光模块10上。如图4所示,所述前框构造30设有多个第一孔口31b,所述背光模块10(例如背板11上)对应设有多个第二孔口111b,通过一螺固元件40依序穿过所述前框构造30的第一孔口31b及所述背光模块10的第二孔口111b,使所述前框构造30与所述背光模块10形成螺固固定,并抵压固定一液晶面板20于所述背光模块10上。
请参照图5所示,图5是本发明第四实施例的液晶模块的立体分解示意图。本发明第四实施例的液晶模块100c与本发明第一实施例的液晶模块100大致相似,因此沿用相同的组件名称,但二者的不同之处在于:在本实施例中,所述前框构造是一分段组合式的前框构造,也就是所述前框构造包含了四个直条状分段式的前框构造30a。所述分段式的前框构造30a分别卡合或螺固于所述背光模块10的四个侧边上,以抵压固定所述液晶面板20于所述背光模块10上。在本实际例中,由于所述前框构造是以分段的方式来组成,因此使得所述前框构造30a的模具可以小型化,并且不同尺寸的液晶模块之间也有共用前框零件的可能。
综上所述,相较于现有技术中,当液晶显示器或液晶电视更朝向窄边框的设计方向发展时,由于液晶模组的前框压盖固定液晶面板的地方变得越小,因此液晶面板容易从框架中跳脱出来,产品的可靠性也会大幅度下降。本发明的液晶模块通过采用一种透明材质的前框构造30,可使得所述液晶模块在外观上具有窄边框/无边框的效果,并且具有较好的固定强度。

Claims (10)

1.一种液晶模块,其特征在于:所述液晶模块包含:
一背光模块;
一液晶面板,设于所述背光模块上方;及
一前框构造,由一透明材质所制成,包含多个边框部及多个上缘部,所述边框部固定于所述背光模块上,所述上缘部由上而下地抵压固定所述液晶面板于所述背光模块上。
2.如权利要求1所述的液晶模块,其特征在于:所述前框构造通过卡合手段或螺固手段固定于所述背光模块上。
3.如权利要求1所述的液晶模块,其特征在于:所述前框构造是一分段组合式的前框构造。
4.如权利要求1所述的液晶模块,其特征在于:所述背光模块的面积等于或小于所述液晶面板的面积。
5.如权利要求1所述的液晶模块,其特征在于:所述背光模块包含:
一背板;
一导光板,设于所述背板上;
一光学膜片组,设于所述导光板上;
至少一发光二极管灯条,设于所述导光板的边缘,朝所述导光板发射光线;及
一胶框,设于所述背板的边缘上,由上而下固定所述光学膜片组及所述导光板于所述背板上。
6.一种液晶模块的前框构造,其特征在于:所述前框构造由一透明材质所制成,包含多个边框部及多个上缘部,所述边框部固定于一背光模块上,所述上缘部由上而下地抵压固定一液晶面板于所述背光模块上。
7.如权利要求6所述的前框构造,其特征在于:所述前框构造的透明材质是一透明塑胶材质。
8.如权利要求6所述的前框构造,其特征在于:所述前框构造通过多个螺固元件固定于所述背光模块上。
9.如权利要求6所述的前框构造,其特征在于:所述前框构造的边框部下缘另包含多个下卡合部,与所述背光模块对应的多个卡槽形成卡合固定。
10.如权利要求6所述的前框构造,其特征在于:所述前框构造包含四个直条状的分段式前框构造。
