背景技术
通常,显示装置是可通过使用从光源发射的光在液晶面板上形成图像而在上面显示各种图像的图像显示装置。
现有的显示装置用在诸如广告标志、指路标志、交通标志等的各种标志中,以实现对城市居民进行通告、促销、指路和信息发布的目的。
显示装置利用使用例如投光器或荧光灯这一类照明装置的各种类型的表面光源生成装置,以在低可视性的夜间期间增强可读性。表面光源生成装置的实例包括使用荧光灯的表面光源生成装置,和适用于LCD液晶面板且利用例如灯的发光体的表面光源生成装置。
使用荧光灯的表面光源生成装置用于使用多个荧光灯来生成表面光源,这些荧光灯在由不透明丙烯酸材料形成的广告标志中以某些间隔间隔开,并用所述表面光源照射形成在广告标志的前表面上的字母和设计。

根据本发明的一个方面,一种具有框架部件的侧发光型显示装置包括:显示组件,其用于在使用从光源发射的光显示图像时将光引导到显示组件的侧表面;透明框架部件,其用于环绕并固定显示组件,且被引导到显示组件的侧表面的光透射通过所述透明框架部件;以及侧显示部件,其位于透明框架部件的侧表面上,且用于使用被引导到显示器的侧表面的光显示图像的信息。
显示组件可包括用于反射从光源发射的光的反射部分;以及用于使用由反射部分反射的光显示图像的显示器。
光源可由光源固定单元一体式地固定。
光源固定单元可包括:在一侧具有开口的透明壳体,以预定间隔布置于透明壳体的开口中的光源安装部件,其中多个光源以纵向方向设置在光源安装部件上;以及以液体形式喷射到开口中且已凝固的透明材料,透明材料用于将光源与光源安装部件一体式地固定。
光源可以是包括于透明框架部件的上部或下部中的边缘型光源。
透明框架部件可将被引导到显示组件的侧表面的光用作侧显示部件的背光。
对应于显示组件的外径的安装孔可形成于透明框架部件中,且显示组件可***到安装孔中,且通过涂覆到显示组件的外边缘上的透明粘合剂将显示组件固定到透明框架部件中。
光放大诱导单元可埋入透明框架部件中,以在显示组件的侧面的横向方向上有效地引导光。
刮痕部分可形成于透明框架部件的前表面的预定区域,且小型液晶面板可安装于刮痕部分中,以使用从光源引导到透明框架部件的光显示小图像。
侧显示部件可以是液晶面板,或上面绘制广告设计的透明或半透明面板,且漫射膜可进一步设置在侧显示部件的后表面上。
有益效果
在根据本发明的具有框架部件的侧发光型显示装置中,显示组件的四侧可与透明框架部件固定,且从显示组件发射的光可被引导到透明框架部件的侧表面,以使用侧显示部件显示图像,借此有效地利用透明框架部件的侧表面。
根据本发明,显示组件可***到透明框架部件的安装孔中,并使用环氧树脂、树脂等将其与透明框架部件一体式地固定以为显示组件提供硬度,借此防止显示组件发生扭曲或弯曲。因此,可省略现有技术中使用的带槽框(前壳体),且在本发明中可减少侧发光显示装置的厚度、重量和制造成本。
根据本发明,可使用光源固定单元便利地且容易地固定光源。
此外,根据本发明,透明框架部件可包括光放大诱导单元,以增加显示在侧显示部件上的图像的亮度。
另外,根据本发明,刮痕部分可形成于透明框架部件的前表面或后表面上,且小型液晶面板可安装在刮痕部分中,以分离于显示部分显示小图像。

具体实施方式
在下文中,将结合附图描述根据本发明的实施例的具有框架部件的侧发光型显示装置。
在描述中,为了描述清楚和便利起见,图中所说明的线的厚度或组件的大小进行了放大。此外,本文中所使用的术语是通过考虑本发明的功能界定的,且其含义可取决于用户或操作人员的意图或先例而变化。因此,应基于本发明的整个上下文界定本文中所使用的术语。
图1是根据本发明的实施例的具有框架部件的侧发光显示装置的分解透视图。图2是根据本发明的实施例的具有框架部件的侧发光显示装置的组装透视图。图3是沿着图2的线A-A截取的组装横截面图。图4是根据本发明的实施例组合的显示组件和透明框架部件的放大横截面图。
图5是根据本发明的实施例的光放大诱导单元嵌入于透明框架部件中的状态的透视图。图6是沿着图5的线B-B截取的组装横截面图。图7是根据本发明的实施例的边缘型光源用于具有框架部件的侧发光显示装置中的状态的横截面图。图8是根据本发明的实施例的小型液晶面板安装在形成于透明框架部件的前表面上的刮痕部分中的状态的透视图。
参考图1到8,根据本发明的实施例的具有框架部件的侧发光型显示装置10包括显示组件100、透明框架部件200和侧显示部件30。
显示组件100用于使用从光源2发射的光来形成图像,并将光引导到显示装置10的侧表面。用于显示组件100中的光源2可以是通过在显示组件100中布置多个点光源(例如发光二极管(light-emitting diode,LED)等)形成的直接型表面光源,以直接发射并漫反射光来制成表面光源,或可以是通过如图7中所说明地在透明框架部件200的下部中嵌入光源2形成的边缘型表面光源,以朝向显示组件100的一侧的方向(在图中为朝上方向)发射光并漫反射光来制成表面光源。
图1到6说明直接型显示装置。图7说明边缘型显示装置。然而,显示装置仅为实例,且直接型光源和边缘型光源都适用于本发明。
当稍后将描述的反射部分110是半透明的时,显示组件100可通过将部分光漫反射并发射到显示组件100的前表面,漫反射并发射部分光以透射到其后表面,以及将部分光发射到其侧表面,在所有方向上(例如朝向显示装置10的前表面、后表面和侧表面)从光源2发射光。
显示组件100包括反射部分110和显示部分120。
反射部分110用于反射从光源2发射的光。反射部分110是其中重复地形成V形不规则体的反射片。反射部分110可以是仅朝向显示组件100的前表面反射光的全反射片;或是由半透明材料形成,且用于朝向显示组件100的前表面反射部分光,并将部分光透射到显示组件100的后表面的反射片。
也就是说,当反射部分110是全反射片时,仅朝向显示组件100的前表面和侧表面反射光。当反射部分110是半透明反射片时,通过在所有方向上(例如朝向显示组件100的前表面、后表面和侧表面)反射和透射光来引导光。在本发明的附图中,描述了一种壳体,在该壳体中,反射片反射部分110是半透明反射片,通过在所有方向上(例如朝向显示组件100的前表面、后表面和侧表面)反射并透射光来引导光。
显示部分120使用由反射部分110反射的光来显示图像。
显示部分120布置在显示组件100的前表面和后表面中的至少一个上,以与反射部分110隔开,并在显示部分120与反射部分110之间形成空隙,并使用由反射部分110反射的光来显示图像。
液晶面板优选地用于显示部分120中。在一些情况下,显示部分120可用于广告标志、指路标志或包括字母或设计的交通标志。显示部分120可用于使得字母或设计雕刻在透光丙烯酸类树脂上。
漫射部件130可设置在反射部分110与显示部分120之间。
漫射部件130可包括用于广泛地漫射光,使得无法看出呈多个点形式的光源2的漫射膜。
参考图1、3和4,光源2由光源固定单元140一体式地固定。
通过光源固定单元140,多个光源2(均为LED型)可以预定间隔布置并一体式地固定以制成一个光源,从而使得多个光源2可容易地组装到透明框架部件200的安装孔210中。
光源固定单元140包括透明壳体142、光源安装部件144和透明材料146。
透明壳体142包括在其一侧开放的开口143。透明壳体142是具有在其前表面或后表面处开放的开口143的空的矩形壳体。透明壳体142可由例如丙烯酸类树脂的透明塑料材料或透明玻璃材料形成。
光源安装部件144以预定间隔布置于透明壳体142的开口143中,并在纵向方向上设置多个光源2。光源安装部件144可以是柔性印刷电路板(flexible printed circuitboard,FPCB)。其中可安装光源2的任何支撑结构可用作光源安装部件144。
多个光源安装部件144可在水平方向上以预定间隔布置,且多个光源2可在纵向方向上以预定间隔布置于多个光源安装部件144中的每一个中。因此,光源2可以均匀间隔布置于显示组件100中以均匀且有效地发射光。
布置在光源安装部件144上的光源2可在后向方向上发射光,且布置在显示组件100的后表面上的反射部分110可朝向显示组件100的前表面反射部分光,将部分光透射到显示组件100的后表面,并将部分光反射到显示组件100的侧表面,借此在所有方向上引导光。
呈液体形式的透明材料146被喷射到开口143中且被凝固,以一体式地固定光源2与多个光源安装部件144。透明材料146优选为树脂。然而,呈液体形式且在一定时间量之后凝固并具有透明性质的任何材料可用作透明材料146。
透明材料146被喷射到开口143中,以便与透明壳体142的边缘齐平并平坦化光源固定单元140的相对表面。因此,由反射部分110反射的光可以直线方向传播。
透明框架部件200用于环绕并固定显示组件100,且将光引导到显示组件100的侧表面。安装孔210形成于透明框架部件200的一体型四边形框架的中间部分处,并穿过透明框架部件200的前表面和后表面。
透明框架部件200可由压克力材料或透光钢化玻璃材料形成。
透明框架部件200将被引导到显示组件100的侧表面的光用作侧显示部件300的背光。
对应于显示组件100的外径的安装孔210形成于透明框架部件200中。
参考图4,显示组件100***到安装孔210中,且通过涂覆到显示组件100的外边缘上的透明粘合剂220将显示组件固定到透明框架部件200中。呈液体形式且在凝固时能够维持透明状态的任何粘合剂可用作透明粘合剂220。透明粘合剂220可以是树脂。
在显示组件100***到透明框架部件200的安装孔210中之后,使用环氧树脂、树脂等将显示组件100与透明框架部件200一体式地固定以为显示组件100提供硬度。因此,可防止显示组件100发生扭曲或弯曲。因此,可减少根据本发明的侧发光显示装置10的厚度、重量和制造成本。
参考图5和6,光放大诱导单元230可嵌入于透明框架部件200中,以在横向方向上有效地引导光。
光缆和光导管中的至少一个可用作光放大诱导单元230。光放大诱导单元230在横向方向上耦接到透明框架部件200的安装孔210的内侧表面,且因此暴露于框架部件200的周界上。因此,侧显示部件300可将光放大诱导单元230用作放大的表面光源以高亮度显示图像。可放大光的任何组件(例如电缆、光导管等)可用作光放大诱导单元230。
光源2可以是包括在透明框架部件200的上侧或下侧中的边缘型光源。
图7说明如下状态:边缘型光源2嵌入于透明框架部件200的下部中且以朝上方向发射光,显示组件100的反射部分110将光反射到显示组件100的前表面、后表面和侧表面上。
参考图8,刮痕部分240可形成于透明框架部件200的前表面的预定区域上。
使用砂纸等在预定区域上形成刮痕部分240。
可通过在刮痕部分240中安装小型液晶面板250、反射通过由刮痕部分240折射而被引导到透明框架部件200的光,并将反射的光用作小型液晶面板250的表面光源来显示图像。
也就是说,可使用砂纸等在预定区域上形成刮痕部分240,且直线传播到框架部件200的侧表面的光可由刮痕部分240引导成以90度的角度折射,以便将所述光用作表面光源。
刮痕部分240可以是字母或数字,该字母或数字用作制造公司的图标或产品名称,或用作广告。在此情况下,小型液晶面板250并不安装于刮痕部分240中,而是仅使用刮痕部分240。
当显示组件100的显示部分120具有100英寸或更大的大屏幕尺寸时,可能不能在接近显示组件100时看到图像,因此可在透明框架部件200上形成刮痕部分240,并可将小型液晶面板250安装到刮痕部分240中,以经由小型液晶面板250在较小屏幕上显示图像。
替代地,显示在小型液晶面板250上的图像可能不同于显示在显示部分120上的图像。
侧显示部件300设置在透明框架部件20的侧表面上,以使用被引导到显示组件100的侧表面的光显示图像的信息。
侧显示部件300可以是液晶面板、TFT液晶面板或上面绘制广告设计的透明或半透明面板。
漫射膜310进一步设置在侧显示部件300的后表面上,从而使得可广泛地放大显示在侧显示部件300上的图像以清晰地看到所述图像。
可使用透明粘合剂将侧显示部件300固定到透明框架部件200的侧表面上,或可以其它各种方式进行固定。
因此,在根据本发明的实施例的具有框架部件的侧发光型显示装置中,显示组件的四侧与透明框架部件固定,且从显示组件发射的光被引导到透明框架部件的侧表面,以便使用侧显示部件显示图像。因此,可有效地使用透明框架部件的侧表面。
在本发明中,在显示组件***到透明框架部件的安装孔中之后,使用环氧树脂、树脂等将显示组件一体式地固定到框架部件上,以为显示组件提供硬度,借此防止显示组件发生扭曲或弯曲。因此,可省略现有技术中使用的带槽框(前壳体),且可减少根据本发明的侧发光显示装置的厚度、重量和制造成本。
此外,在本发明中,可使用光源固定单元便利地且容易地固定光源。在本发明中,透明框架部件包括光放大诱导单元,以增加显示在侧显示部件上的图像的亮度。另外,在本发明中,刮痕部分可形成于透明框架部件的前表面或后表面上,且可将小型液晶面板安装到刮痕部分中,以分离于显示部分显示小图像。
虽然已具体参考本发明的示例性实施例示出并描述本发明,但本领域的一般技术人员将理解,可以在不脱离所附权利要求书所界定的本发明的精神和范围的情况下进行形式和细节上的各种改变。
因此,本发明的范围由所附权利要求书界定。

Claims (10)

1.一种具有框架部件的侧发光型显示装置,包括:
显示组件,用于在使用从光源发射的光显示图像时将光引导到所述显示组件的侧表面;
透明框架部件,用于环绕并固定所述显示组件,且被引导到所述显示组件的所述侧表面的所述光透射通过所述透明框架部件;以及
侧显示部件,设置在所述透明框架部件的侧表面上,且用于使用被引导到所述显示组件的所述侧表面的所述光显示所述图像的信息。
2.根据权利要求1所述的侧发光型显示装置,其中所述显示组件包括:
反射部分,用于反射从所述光源发射的光;以及
显示器,用于使用由所述反射部分反射的所述光来显示图像。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的侧发光型显示装置,其中所述光源由光源固定单元一体式地固定。
4.根据权利要求3所述的侧发光型显示装置,其中所述光源固定单元包括:
透明壳体,具有在所述透明壳体的一侧开放的开口;
光源安装部件,其以预定间隔布置于所述透明壳体的所述开口中,其中多个光源以纵向方向设置于所述光源安装部件上;以及
透明材料,其以液体形式喷射到所述开口中且凝固,所述透明材料将所述光源与所述光源安装部件一体式地固定。
5.根据权利要求1或2所述的侧发光型显示装置,其中所述光源是包括于所述透明框架部件的上部或下部中的边缘型光源。
6.根据权利要求2所述的侧发光型显示装置,其中所述透明框架部件将被引导到所述显示组件的所述侧表面的所述光用作所述侧显示部件的背光。
7.根据权利要求2或6所述的侧发光型显示装置,其中对应于所述显示组件的外径的安装孔形成于所述透明框架部件中,且
所述显示组件***到所述安装孔中,且通过涂覆到所述显示组件的外边缘上的透明粘合剂将所述显示组件固定到所述透明框架部件。
8.根据权利要求2或6所述的侧发光型显示装置,其中光放大诱导单元嵌入所述透明框架部件中,用于在所述显示组件的横向方向上有效地引导光。
9.根据权利要求2或6所述的侧发光型显示装置,其中刮痕部分形成于所述透明框架部件的前表面的预定区域上,且
小型液晶面板安装在所述刮痕部分上,以使用从所述光源引导到所述透明框架部件的光显示小图像。
10.根据权利要求1所述的侧发光型显示装置,其中所述侧显示部件是液晶面板,或上面绘制广告设计的透明或半透明面板,且
漫射膜进一步设置在所述侧显示部件的后表面上。
