技术领域
本发明涉及一种具有工具库的自动工具收容机构,该工具库用于收容许多工具和容纳座(ポット)。
背景技术
近年来,在用于机床特别是加工中心的自动换刀装置中,工具(ッ一ル)的数量变得非常多。由于收容许多工具,因此,配置多个工具库。在各工具库中,利用链条将许多容纳座连接起来,在各容纳座上安装有各种工具。
公知一种自动换刀装置,其具有收容了容纳座和许多工具的工具库、用于从工具库取出安装于规定的容纳座上的工具而将其输送至待机位置的输送部件、在该待机位置处对待机中的使用前的工具和主轴侧的使用后的工具进行交换的工具交换臂。例如参照日本特开第2003-291046号和日本特开第2008-155343号专利文献。
在以往的自动换刀装置中,用爪(ッメ)抓住自配备于工具库中的工具中调出(选择出)的工具的V形凸缘部分,自容纳座中取出工具。另外,被取出工具的容纳座留在工具库中,仅将工具从工具库输送至待机位置。
在像以往那样将工具自容纳座分离而以利用爪仅把持工具的V形凸缘部分的状态输送工具时,当工具为较重的刀具或较长的刀具的情况下,工具在输送时容易倾斜,特别是在较长的输送路径上难以进行稳定的输送,而且难以以高速进行稳定的输送。
为了稳固地把持工具的V形凸缘部分,爪需要较高的刚性。
发明内容
本发明的目的在于,提供即使在工具为较重的刀具或较长的刀具的情况下,也能够不使工具在输送时过度倾斜地确保输送工具时的稳定性的自动工具收容机构。

图1表示自一个工具库一起取出使用前的工具和容纳座而将它们输送至待机位置,将该使用前的工具和主轴侧的使用后的工具交换的状况。
图2表示将被交换了的使用后的工具和容纳座一起返回其他工具库里的状况。
容纳座(也称为工具容纳座)使用能够共用于所有工具(也称为工具保持器)的部件。
在图1~2的实施例中,第一工具库10收容编号为1到50的工具12(图1和图2仅图示50个工具中的一个工具,而未图示其他工具)和容纳座14。第二工具库16收容编号为51到100的工具18(图1和图2仅图示50个工具中的一个工具,而未图示其他工具)和容纳座14。未在图1和图2中图示除第一工具库和第二工具库之外的工具库。

如图5所示,在机构的两侧在水平方向上平行地配置有两个轨道状的容纳座移动臂行走用引导件61。多个工具库10之外的其他工具库沿着该容纳座移动臂行走用引导件61排列成一列。
利用升降用驱动部71使容纳座移动臂22在垂直方向上或者上下方向上升降。
容纳座移动臂22经由2条延伸设置在机构的两侧之间的传送带73和75,在行走用驱动部77(优选包括减速器和伺服马达)的作用下,沿着2个容纳座移动臂行走用引导件61在水平方向移动,在所选择的工具库的位置停止。
能够利用容纳座移动臂22和两个容纳座移动臂行走用引导件61将第一引导部分51设定在期望的纵向和横向的位置。
参照图6进行说明。
在收容于第一工具库10中的许多工具中,编号为1的工具12被控制装置(未图示)调出(选择),利用设置于工具库10的容纳座出入位置处的液压缸55,将编号为1的工具12和用于该工具12的容纳座14一起自第一工具库10推出,沿着该第一引导部分51向图6的右方向移送。此时,在容纳座锁芯57的作用下,容纳座14被容纳座把持部59把持,直到编号为1的工具12和用于该编号为1的工具12的容纳座14到达容纳座移动臂22的下方位置。
然后,使容纳座移动臂22下降,用多个爪例如爪22a抓住编号为1的工具12的V形凸缘部分,用爪22b、22c抓住容纳座14的两处。
附图标记103表示容纳座锁芯,该容纳座锁芯用于用爪22a、22b、22c锁定并把持工具12和容纳座14。
在使容纳座锁芯103工作而处于“锁定”状态的状态下,使容纳座移动臂22向上移动而将编号为1的工具12和容纳座14一起移动至第二引导部分26的入口。
在第二引导部分26的入口,容纳座把持部65在容纳座锁芯105的作用下把持容纳座14。在容纳座14被把持的状态下,容纳座14和安装于容纳座14中的工具12在第二驱动部件101的作用下输送至待机位置100。
在使用前的编号为1的工具12和容纳座14到达待机位置100之后,工具交换臂28工作,一对把持部28a和28b转动,将存在于待机位置100的使用前的编号为1的工具12和安装于主轴30上的使用后的编号为51的工具18交换。换言之,从容纳座14卸下编号为1的工具12并从主轴30卸下编号为51的工具18,然后将它们旋转180°,再将编号为1的工具12安装至主轴30并将编号为51的工具18安装于容纳座18。
如图2所示,使用后的编号为51的工具18和容纳座14沿着引导件被向规定的工具库输送。此时,容纳座锁芯103和105、容纳座移动臂22、把持部59和65、液压缸55和其他以与将容纳座14从工具库输送至待机位置100时的顺序相反的顺序启动。
根据上述实施例,工具和容纳座在工具库与待机位置100之间始终在一起,且容纳座被支承。

Claims (7)

1.一种自动工具收容机构,其包括:
工具库,其为至少一个,其收容有多个容纳座,该容纳座上安装有工具;
输送部件,其用于在工具库侧的位置和主轴附近的待机位置之间逐个输送安装有工具的容纳座;
工具交换臂,其用于在待机位置处自待机中的容纳座卸下使用前的工具而将该使用前的工具安装到主轴上,并自主轴卸下安装于主轴上的使用后的工具而将该使用后的工具安装到容纳座上,
上述输送部件具有:
引导件,其设于工具库侧的位置和主轴附近的待机位置之间;
容纳座移动部件,其用于使安装有工具的容纳座沿着引导件移动,
上述引导件具有:
第一引导部分,其位于工具库侧;
第二引导部分,其用于在第一引导部分和待机位置之间引导安装有工具的容纳座。
2.根据权利要求1所述的自动工具收容机构,其特征在于,
上述容纳座移动部件具有:
液压缸,其用于使安装有工具的容纳座在第一引导部分和工具库之间移动;
滚珠螺杆和伺服马达,它们用于使安装有工具的容纳座移动。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的自动工具收容机构,其特征在于,
上述容纳座移动部件还具有容纳座移动臂,该容纳座移动臂使安装有工具的容纳座在第一引导部分和第二引导部分之间移动。
4.根据权利要求3所述的自动工具收容机构,其特征在于,
沿着容纳座移动臂行走用引导件排列配置多个工具库,设有使容纳座移动臂在容纳座移动臂行走用引导件上行走的驱动部件,使容纳座移动臂在被选择的一个工具库处停止,使安装有工具的容纳座在该工具库和第一引导部分之间移动。
5.根据权利要求4所述的自动工具收容机构,其特征在于,
收容于多个工具库中的容纳座的总数为几百个。
6.根据权利要求4所述的自动工具收容机构,其特征在于,
通过使用传送带而使容纳座移动臂沿着容纳座移动臂行走用引导件行走。
7.根据权利要求4或6所述的自动工具收容机构,其特征在于,
容纳座移动臂具有用于抓住容纳座的爪和用于抓住工具的爪。
