Abstract

Description

本发明涉及一种用于将液体介质相对于气体介质、特别是大气进行密封的轴密封,该轴密封含有一个由弹性体材料制成的环形密封唇,该密封唇以一个连续的密封带紧贴在轴上,同时,有一个圆锥形的环状突出部从该密封带朝着要密封的流体介质伸展,该环状突出部在工作状态与轴构成一个角度。
在这种类型的轴密封(DE-AS    1525882和DE-AS1101074)中,液体介质由具有较高粘度的润滑油构成。此外,该液体介质不具有比气体介质高的压力或所高甚微,这样,密封带的这边和那边处在差不多相同的压力状态。因此,这种公知的轴密封的任务是要避免润滑油通过密封带与轴之间的间隙进入气体介质的空间,因为这样会导致润滑油损耗。
出于这个原因,圆锥形的突出部与轴之间的角选成45°或更大一些,这样就在很大程度上避免形成可能降低密封带加在轴上的压紧力的润滑剂楔状结构。
然而,在液体介质是低粘度的情况下,例如液体介质由水构成而且水的压力比气体介质的压力大,如在船的螺旋桨轴的轴密封的情况下,这样的措施被证明是不利的。
在这种情况下,通过不良的润滑介质-水对密封带进行润滑是不足以保证密封唇有足够的寿命。
本发明的目的是在给定的情况下使密封带有足够的润滑,从而保证 密封唇有足够的寿命。
按照本发明,这一目的通过如下方案实现,该环形密封唇设计成通过将所述角度按所述液体介质的粘度来选定以促使液体介质有目的地穿过该密封带与轴之间的缝隙渗漏以实现润滑,圆锥形的突出部的角度最大为12度,液体的粘度越低,该角度就越小。
按照本发明,通过很尖的圆锥角,可以使水有目的地穿过密封带与轴之间的缝隙进行泄漏,由此,尽管水的润滑性能很差,也能保证有足够的润滑。
泄漏的水进入含气体的空间并不是十分不利的,因为泄漏的水通过比较简单的和公知的输送装置能够无困难地排出。
最大为12度的小的圆锥角因此对予期的输送起作用,因为在轴与圆锥体之间形成一压力楔,该压力楔使密封唇按流体动力学原理“浮起”,也就是说将其扩大,这样就构成液体导向含气体的空间的预期的泄漏。
虽然唇环式密封已成公知(DE-AS  1248399),在其中采用了很尖的4-8度的圆锥角,然而这密封并不涉及符合条件的圆锥体,而是涉及一种在安装之前存在于密封唇上的圆锥体,这种圆锥体在工作状态下由于弹性变形而在轴上消失,仅仅在压紧力方面起作用。
按照本发明的一个实施例,在圆锥形突出部的表面上设置按流体动力学原理作用的输送槽,该输送槽设计成将压力较高的流体介质向压力较低的流体介质输送。由此,预期的流向气体介质的介质流得到支持和加强,这在一定条件下是符合预期要求的。
此外,输送槽采用一种斜度朝向密封带的螺纹的形式,并且该输送槽以至少一个头的螺纹围绕着突出部的周边。
这样,人们可以用简单的方式,通过相应地改变螺纹的斜度来使输送槽的输送强度适应于各种情况的需要。
在附图中示意地示出本发明的技术内容,这些图都是以剖面表示。
图1示出按照本发明的一个无输送槽的密封唇。
图2示出按照本发明的一个有输送槽的密封唇。
图3示出一个带有两个在轴向上先后设置的密封唇的密封装置。
在图1中所示的密封唇具有一个压紧部1、桥接部2和唇部3。该唇部3以一个在本实施例中形成倒圆边棱的密封带4紧贴在轴7上。一个圆锥形的环状突出部5从该密封带4朝要密封的介质W的方向伸展。该环状突出部与轴7构成一个角度很小的锐角α。该圆锥形的环状突出部5的朝向轴7的表面是光滑的。该唇部3在朝向气体介质G的一侧同样设计成圆锥形,这一圆锥体在轴向上显著地短于朝向液体介质的圆锥体,这一较短的圆锥体对于本发明的唇部功能来说是不重要的。
在图2中所示的密封唇含有跟图1所示的密封唇同样的结构组成部分,唯一的不同点在于,这种圆锥形的环状突出部分5在其朝着轴7的锥形表面5上设计成多头螺纹形式的输送槽6。
从图3可知,按照本发明的密封唇不但可作为单个的密封件,而且可以成两个或多个隔开一定距离相继装入普通结构的密封装置中。在所示的密封装置中,跟要进行密封的介质W相邻的密封唇用1、4、5表示,而与气体介质相邻的密封唇用1′、4′、5′表示。

Claims (3)

1、一种用于将液体介质相对于气体介质、特别是大气进行密封的轴密封,这轴密封含有一个由弹性体材料制成的环形密封唇,该密封唇以一个连续的密封带紧贴在轴上,同时有一个圆锥形的环状突出部从该密封带朝着要密封的流体介质伸展,该环状突出部在工作状态与轴构成一个角度,其特征在于,在液体介质是一种低粘度的液体和在液体介质的压力高于气体介质的压力的情况下,该环形密封唇设计成通过将所述角度按所述液体介质的粘度来选定以促使液体介质有目的地穿过该密封带与轴之间的缝隙渗漏以实现润滑,该角度最大为12度,液体的粘度越低,该角度就越小。
2、按照权利要求1的轴密封,其特征在于,在圆锥形的环状突出部的表面上设置按流体动力学原理作用的输送槽,该输送槽设计成将压力较高的流体介质向压力较低的流体介质输送。
3、按照权利要求2的轴密封,其特征在于,输送槽采用一种斜度朝向密封带的螺纹的形式,并且该运输槽以至少一个头的螺纹围绕着环状突出部的周边。
