Abstract

技术领域
本发明涉及根据所附独立权利要求前序部分的一种用于排屑加工的铣刀,铣刀刀体以及要安装到铣刀刀体上的可转位切削刀片。
背景技术
铣刀是公知的,其包括铣刀刀体,该刀体设置有多个可转位切削刀片。各个可转位切削刀片包括多个主切削刃以及与各个主切削刃相关联的副切削刃。副切削刃与所关联的主切削刃形成直角。这种公知的铣刀特别用于工件上直角转角的铣削。这种公知铣刀的缺点是切削深度受限于主切削刃的长度,这是由于当切削刀片安装到铣刀刀体上时,切削刀片上同一切削刃的副切削刃被径向地定位在主切削刃的外部。

发明内容

本发明的又一个目标是,根据本发明的铣刀中所设置的根据本发明的可转位切削刀片在其使用期间必须被分度四次。
本发明的另一个目标是,定向可转位切削刀片,从而使得它们能够通过中心螺钉来固定,该螺钉具有相对较长的锚定长度。
至少,本发明的主要目标是通过由所附独立权利要求描述特征获得的铣刀以及可转位切削刀片的方式得以实现。本发明的优选实施被限定在从属权利要求中。

具体实施方式
如图1和2所示的根据本发明的铣刀包括铣刀刀体1,其在图1中的前向端部具有多个切削刀片座,其中接收有对应数目的可转位切削刀片。各个可转位切削刀片3具有中心孔4并且通过中心螺钉5被固定到相关联的切削刀片座中,所述中心螺钉5由所述中心孔4所接收。图1中绘制有铣刀的中心轴线C-C,所述中心轴线C-C还限定了铣刀的旋转轴线以及其轴向方向。铣刀的旋转方向R在图1中用箭头表示。
中心螺钉5沿着铣刀的轴向方向延伸,然而中心螺钉5并不平行于旋转轴线C-C。可转位切削刀片3因此以相切的方式安装到铣刀刀体1上。
铣刀刀体1被形成用于在其后端与刀具连接装置或类似物相连接,如图1所示。
从图2所示的铣刀的侧视图中可以清楚看到,当可转位切削刀片3安装到铣刀刀体上时,可转位切削刀片倾斜,即可转位切削刀片的中心轴线与铣刀的中心轴线C-C并不平行,所述切削刀片的中心轴线与相关联的中心螺钉的纵向方向相一致。
在下面描述的图3-6中,出于清楚的原因,仅绘制出切削刀片3。在图3所示的侧视图中,切削刀片3的主切削刃和副切削刃形成直角。图3中可清楚看到,用第一直线L1表示的切削刀片座的底面与第二直线L2形成某一角度α,该第二直线L2垂直地朝向铣刀的旋转轴线C-C延伸。切削刀片的刀片座底面成角度的原因在于切削刀片中仅有一个转角应当是起作用的,也就是说,剩余的三个转角应当轴向地位于直线L2的后面。为了解释而非限制所提到的效果,角度α的大小可为5°。图3中还显示了铣刀中心轴线C-C与切削刀片3中心轴线C1-C1之间的角度β1。图3所示的侧视图中该角度约为8°。
图4所示的侧视图取自与图3中位置相垂直的位置。图4中,切削刀片3的主切削刃11的轴向刀面角被绘制出来,所述角度由γ表示。轴向刀面角γ为正角度并且在侧视图中所示大约为7°。图4中还显示了铣刀中心轴线C-C与切削刀片3中心轴线C1-C1之间的角度β2。图4所示的侧视图中该角度约为7°。
图5所示为沿着图3中V-V所得到的截面图。主切削刃11的间隙角由λ1表示。该角度处在5°≤λ1≤15°的区间,优选λ1值为大约8°。
图6所示为沿着图5中VI-VI所得到的截面图。图6中,切削刀片3的修光刃的间隙角由λ表示。其中该角度处在5°≤λ≤12°的区间,优选值为6°。
图7-11中详细显示了根据本发明的可转位切削刀片3设置在根据本发明的铣刀1中。可转位切削刀片3的中心轴线C1-C1在图7,8,9和11中绘制出来,所述中心轴线C1-C1还限定了可转位切削刀片3的轴向方向。各个可转位切削刀片3均包括顶面7和与其平行的底面9。顶面7的面积大于底面9的面积。顶面7和底面9通过四个侧面10A,10B,10C,10D合为一体。可转位切削刀片3的中心孔4通向顶面7和底面9。
通常,可转位切削刀片3具有截棱锥的形状,其中顶面7对应于大的基面,而底面9对应于小的基面。当根据本发明的铣刀刀体装备有可转位切削刀片3的时候,各个可转位切削刀片3的底面9抵靠各个切削刀片座的支撑面,所述支撑面基本上横向于铣刀轴向C-C延伸。
四个主切削刃11A,11B,11C,11D形成在两个相邻侧面的相交处,所述侧面基本上沿着可转位切削刀片的轴向C1-C1延伸,然而与轴向C1-C1并不平行。另外一种表述方式是:主切削刃11A,11B,11C,11D从顶面7朝着底面9延伸。与截棱锥相类似的截棱锥形状的侧切削刃,即相邻侧面的相交处,组成了根据本发明的可转位切削刀片3的主切削刃11A-11D。然而,在所示实施例中,各个主切削刃被径向地设置在所述相交处的内侧。在顶面7与侧面10A,10B,10C,10D的相交处形成有副切削刃12A,12B,12C,12D,所述副切削刃基本上横向于可转位切削刀片3的轴向C1-C1延伸。图7-11中所示的根据本发明的可转位切削刀片3包括四对切削刃。

上述实施例中,可转位切削刀片3具有四个主切削刃以及四个相关联的副切削刃。然而,在本发明范围内,每个可转位切削刀片可以具有三个主切削刃以及三个相关联的副切削刃。
根据本发明的铣刀的所示实施例在正的轴向角度下加工工件。这个角度也可选成负的角度。

Claims (14)
