Abstract
LA INVENCIÓN SE REFIERE A UN MÉTODO PARA PRODUCIR SULFATO DE POTASIO SOLUBLE MEDIANTE RECRISTALIZACIÓN DE SULFATO DE POTASIO CRUDO EN DONDE EL SULFATO DE POTASIO CRUDO CONTIENE UNA CANTIDAD DE POTASIO, CALCULADA COMO K2O DE APROXIMADAMENTE 15% EN PESO O SUPERIOR, PREFERIBLEMENTE APROXIMADAMENTE 40% EN PESO O MÁS, Y TIENE MÁS DE APROXIMADAMENTE 0.07% EN PESO DE MATERIAL INSOLUBLE, Y/O UNA VELOCIDAD DE DISOLUCIÓN EN DONDE A 3 MIN DE DISOLUCIÓN DE 100 GRAMOS DE PRODUCTO EN 1 L DE AGUA FRÍA (20ºC), SIN AGITAR LA CANTIDAD DE SULFATO DE POTASIO DISUELTO DE MENOS DE APROXIMADAMENTE 90% Y/O UN PH DE APROXIMADAMENTE 6 O SUPERIOR COMO UN SULFATO DE POTASIO CRUDO DISUELTO AL 1%, EN DONDE EL MÉTODO COMPRENDE LAS SIGUIENTES ETAPAS: SULFATO DE POTASIO CRUDO SE DISUELVE, EL SULFATO DE POTASIO DISUELTO SE SOMETE A UNA ETAPA DE ELIMINACIÓN DE MATERIAL SÓLIDO, SE CRISTALIZA EL SULFATO DE POTASIO, MIENTRAS QUE OPCIONALMENTE SE PROPORCIONA UN ÁCIDO ANTES, DURANTE O DESPUÉS DE LA ETAPA DE CRISTALIZACIÓN DEL SULFATO DE POTASIO Y DESPUÉS DE LO CUAL EL SULFATO DE POTASIO OBTENIDO SE SEPARA Y SECA, EN DONDE EL TAMAÑO DE PARTÍCULA DEL MATERIAL CRISTALINO SE CONTROLA PARA QUE ESTÉ DENTRO DE LOS INTERVALOS PROPORCIONADOS, OPCIONALMENTE CON TAMIZADO Y/O TRITURACIÓN, PREFERIBLEMENTE MEDIANTE TAMIZADO, DE MODO QUE EL MATERIAL CRISTALINO DE SULFATO DE POTASIO RESULTANTE CUMPLA CON LAS SIGUIENTES CARACTERÍSTICAS: LA CANTIDAD DE MATERIAL INSOLUBLE ES MENOR QUE APROXIMADAMENTE 0.05% EN PESO, UNA SOLUCIÓN AL 1% EN PESO DE SULFATO DE POTASIO TIENE UN PH INFERIOR A 6 Y/O 1 UNIDAD DE PH INFERIOR AL PH DEL SULFATO DE POTASIO CRUDO, LA FRACCIÓN OBTENIDA DESPUÉS DE LA CRISTALIZACIÓN TIENE UN TAMAÑO DE PARTÍCULA PROMEDIO DENTRO DE LOS SIGUIENTES PARÁMETROS: (I) D90 < APROXIMADAMENTE 0.6 MM, (II) D10 > APROXIMADAMENTE 0.02 MM, Y (III) POLVO ASCIENDE A APROXIMADAMENTE 0.4% EN PESO O MENOS, POR LO QUE EL SULFATO DE POTASIO CONTIENE MÁS DE 51% DE POTASIO, CALCULADO COMO K2O.
