Method and device for tensioning the embroidery threads and of cords to be embroidered on fabric in embroidery machines. The invention aims to be the embroidery threads, as well as on fabric zür embroidering cords after relaxation of the same between the fabric and a Mitnehrnerwalze for the embroidery threads. rewind the cords and the partial consumption of the same in order to rewind as much onto the carrier roller as was not used up on the previously released working material.
It is well known that stitches of different lengths must always be expected, depending on the thread number and the goods to be produced according to the pattern drawn. However, the length of the working material supplied per stitch cannot be measured specifically for each stitch formation, but is always given uniformly by the lifting disc.
According to the present process, the working material (embroidery threads or cords) is now wound back between the fabric and a carrier roller for the material and partial consumption of the same by turning the carrier roller back onto the latter after it has been relaxed, so that the unused part of the working material is tensioned again.
A device is suitable for carrying out this method, which also forms the subject of the invention and is illustrated in two exemplary embodiments in the accompanying drawing. FIGS. 1 and 2 show one embodiment and FIGS. 3 and 4 show the other embodiment of the device in FIG two tim 90 staggered representations.
The driver roller 1 for the embroidery threads and, if necessary, for the cords is provided with a toothed switching disk 2 according to the first example (FIGS. 1, 2). This is switched for the purpose of delivering the required for the stitch formation and embroidery frame movement, loose work material by a pawl 3, which is dominated by a switching rod 4 be; which in turn receives its movement from the lifting disc 5. The pawl 3 is pressed against the switching disk 2 by a tension spring 6.
The spring ti is attached to a lever 7 which is connected to the pawl 3 and to the shift rod 4 and rotatable on your bearing pin 8 of the
