Fig. 1 eine Ansicht der erfindungsgemässen Zweimengen-Spülgarnitur,
The invention relates to a two-quantity flushing set for a cistern, with a container filled with water as an additional weight, which is raised when the small amount of flushing water is triggered and loads the closing element and which is left lying when the large amount of flushing water is triggered.
A flushing set of this type has become known in the prior art from the applicant's EP-A-0 722 020. With this flushing set, an additional weight is raised in the case of a partial flushing with the closing device. When the locking device is raised, it is loaded with the additional weight. The additional weight causes the closing element to be brought into the closing position prematurely against the buoyancy of a float of the waste set. In the case of a full flush, the additional weight remains on the housing of the waste set. The additional weight then has no effect on the flushing and the closing element then remains in the open position of the valve until 6 or 9 liters of water have been dispensed, for example.
The small amount of rinse water is usually between 3 and 4 liters. The optimal amount of water for a small flush depends largely on the design of the toilet bowl. Too much rinse water should be avoided for economic and ecological reasons. Too little water is not permitted, at least for hygienic reasons. For the reasons mentioned, there is a need for a two-flush set, in which the amount of water in the partial flush can be easily and precisely adjusted at the installation site.
The dual-flush system according to the invention is characterized in that the container filled with water has means by which the amount of water acting as a weight can be adjusted. The amount of water acting as a weight can be adjusted in the two-set washing set according to the invention. If this amount is reduced, the amount of rinse water in the small rinse increases. Increasing this amount, on the other hand, has the effect of reducing the amount of rinse water in the small rinse.
According to a development of the invention, a slide is provided with which an opening of a window of a side wall of the container can be adjusted. When the additional weight is raised, part of the water flows out of the container through the opening mentioned and the weight of the additional weight is reduced accordingly. The larger this opening, the more water flows out of the chamber of the container during the closing process. When the window is completely closed, the entire amount remains in the container and acts as an additional weight. The opening can be infinitely adjusted, making it possible to set the exact amount of partial water. The slide can be easily adjusted on-site when the washing set is installed.
The production of the two-quantity washing set according to the invention is particularly simple when the slide is snapped out of the cup. To implement the invention, only an opening in the cup and a slide are required. If, according to a further development of the invention, the slide has an edge which overlaps the cup, this edge can serve as a handle for adjusting the slide or the opening, which allows convenient and safe operation.
Further advantageous features result from the dependent claims, the following description and the drawing.
An embodiment of the invention is explained below with reference to the drawing. Show it:
1 is a view of the dual-flush system according to the invention,
Fig. 2 is a vertical section through part of the dual-flush system according to Fig. 1, and
Fig. 3 shows schematically the setting of the opening of the window.
Fig. 1 shows a conventional drain fitting 2, which is mounted in a toilet tank, not shown here, for a toilet. In the armature 2, a closing body 3 is mounted, which can be raised on a tab 4 with a lever 6 of an actuating device (not shown further here). The closing element 3 is at the same time an overflow pipe and has a corresponding opening 5. If the closing element 3 is raised, the valve of the drain fitting 2 is open and flushing water can flow out of the cistern into the toilet bowl (not shown here). A float arranged in the drain fitting 2 and not shown here prevents the closing element 3 from falling back prematurely on the valve seat of the fitting 2. In this case, a full amount of flushing water, for example 6 or 9 liters of flushing water, can flow out of the cistern.
An additional weight 18 is placed on the armature 2, which essentially consists of a container 9 and a molded on it 8. This additional weight 18 can also be raised with a lever 7 of the actuating device. In this case, the closing member 3 is raised with this additional weight 18. When the closing element 3 is raised, it is loaded with the additional weight 18. Against the buoyancy of the float, the closing member 3 is forced downward onto the valve opening (not shown here) before the cistern is completely emptied. The structural details of this can be found in EP-A-0 722 020 already mentioned above.
The additional weight 18 consists essentially of water 19, which is located in an open and approximately cylindrical chamber 20 of the cup 9. The closing member 3 passes through a central opening 21 of the cup 9. In a side wall 15 of the cup 9 there is a rectangular window 13, behind which a slide 10 is arranged. In the position shown in FIG. 1, the slide 10 completely covers the window 13. The window 13 is closed in this case. An upper overlapping edge 12 forms a handle on which the slide 10 can be moved by hand in the direction of the double arrow 22. An opening 17 can thus be created in the window 13. The size of this opening 17 can be infinitely adjusted by correspondingly moving the slide 10.
In the position of the additional weight 18 shown in FIG. 1, the cup 9 according to FIG. 2 is completely filled with water 19. When lifting the additional weight 18, the cup 9 is raised above the water level in the cistern. If the window 13 is completely closed by the slide 10, the total amount of water 19 acts as an additional weight. However, if an opening 17 is present in the cup 9 according to FIG. 3, part of the water 19 flows out of the chamber 20 during the rinsing process. The additional weight is now reduced accordingly. The consequence of this is that the closing member 3 remains raised for longer and accordingly more flushing water can flow out of the cistern. By moving the slide 10, the amount of rinsing water can be adjusted in a partial rinse. This amount is approximately between 3 and 4 liters.
