The present invention relates to a device for controlling the position of a mobile part of a motor vehicle headlamp.
More particularly, it relates to a control device which comprises an actuating rod of axis X, one end of which is intended to be connected to said movable part, and a transmission means capable of transmitting to the actuating rod the movement d 'rotation drive produced by rotation drive means, the transmission means comprising flexible tongues capable of cooperating with said actuating rod.
The invention finds a particularly advantageous application for adjusting the inclination in elevation or in azimuth of a reflector of a motor vehicle headlamp.
Already known from the prior art, a control device of this type in which the transmission means comprises flexible tongues which extend longitudinally along the axis of the actuating rod and which are linked by one end has a toothed wheel intended to mesh with rotary drive means. These tongues cooperate with longitudinal grooves provided on the outer surface of the actuating rod. Each tongue has, opposite its free end connected with the toothed wheel, a free end provided on its external surface with a groove for the installation of a circular spring. These tongues and the associated spring secure the rotation of the actuating rod with the transmission means which cooperates with said rotation drive means.
In the event of significant efforts, the tongues can escape from the grooves under the control of the spring which forms limit of end of travel torque by exerting pressure on said free ends of the tongues to ensure elastic return of the latter in abutment against the actuating rod.
The main drawback of such a control device is that the transmission means has a complex structure made up of several parts. This complex structure results in additional manufacturing costs for the control device.
Compared to the cited state of the art, the present invention proposes a new control device in which the transmission means is formed in one piece and ensures the rotationally integral with the actuating rod while allowing in the event of 'significant efforts, a spacing of said tabs with an elastic return thereof against the actuating rod.
More specifically, according to the invention, the tongues of the transmission means are linked at each of their two ends to fixed parts of said transmission means.
According to a particularly advantageous characteristic of the control device according to the invention, each flexible tongue of the transmission means extends longitudinally in a plane transverse to the axis X of the actuating rod.
According to one embodiment of the control device according to the invention, said transmission means comprises three flexible tongues.
The description which follows with reference to the appended drawings given by way of nonlimiting examples will make it clear what the invention consists of and how it can be implemented.
In the accompanying drawings:
- fig. 1 is a schematic side perspective view of the control device according to the invention,
- fig. 2 is a schematic side perspective view of the transmission means of the control device of FIG. 1,
- fig. 3 is a sectional view along the plane A-A of the control device of FIG. 1.
In fig. there is shown a device for controlling the position of a movable member, such as a reflector, of a motor vehicle headlamp.
Such a control device makes it possible to manually or automatically adjust the inclination of the line of sight of a projector by modifying the elevation or azimuth orientation of the reflector.
This control device comprises an actuating rod 200 which extends along an axis X and which comprises at one end a spherical head 201 intended to engage in a complementary housing provided in the rear part of a reflector (not shown ).
The actuating rod 200 comprises in a central part, a thread 202 intended to cooperate with a complementary thread (not shown) provided in a housing of a control actuator (also not shown) so that the drive in rotation around of the X axis of the actuating rod 200, causes its longitudinal displacement along the X axis.
In addition, the actuation rod 200 has a cylindrical rear part 203 of revolution around the axis X which extends from its central part to its opposite rear end. On the external surface of this rear part 203, it is provided with grooves 210, 211, 212, 213, 214, 215. These grooves 210, 211, 212, 213, 214, 215 extend longitudinally along the axis X and are uniformly distributed around the periphery of the cylindrical rear part 203 of the actuating rod 200.
The actuating rod 200 is produced by injection and molding of plastic material.
In addition, the control device shown in FIGS. (and in particular in FIG. 1) comprises a means for transmitting the rotational movement produced by rotational drive means which are not shown here. These rotary drive means, not shown, may for example be an electric drive motor or a manual actuation button.
This transmission means comprises a sleeve 110 of axis X, one end of which is connected to a gear wheel 120 intended to cooperate with a pinion of a manual actuation button (not shown) or with the gear of an electric drive motor (not shown).
It should be noted that preferably, the sleeve 110 and the gear wheel 120 form a single piece made for example of polyamide loaded with glass fibers or polyacetal.
As shown more particularly in FIGS. 1 and 3, the rear part 203 of the actuating rod 200 is intended to be inserted through the sleeve 110 and the gear wheel 120 of the transmission means 100.
At its other end, the sleeve 110 is provided with flexible tongues 130, 140, 150, intended to cooperate with the longitudinal grooves provided on the external surface of the cylindrical rear part 203 of the actuating rod 200.
More particularly, the sleeve 110 comprises three tongues 130, 140, 150 arranged in a triangle. Each tongue 130, 140, 150 extends longitudinally in a direction transverse to the axis X of the actuating rod and is linked at its two ends 130 min, 130 min min, 140 min, 140 min min 150 min, 150 min min to fixed parts 111, 112, 113 of the sleeve 110. These fixed parts 111, 112, 113 are rigid tongues which extend longitudinally along the axis X from an edge towards the front of the sleeve. Between two successive rigid tongues 111, 112 extends a flexible tongue 130 transverse to the axis X.
The flexible tongues 130, 140, 150 are linked to the cylindrical body of the sleeve 110 only by means of the rigid tongues 111, 112, 113 so that there is a transverse lumen between each flexible transverse tongue linked to said longitudinal rigid tongues and the edge of the cylindrical body of revolution around the axis X of said sleeve 110.
Each tongue 130, 140, 150 has an internal surface 130 b, 140 b, 150 b intended to come into abutment against the external surface of the actuating rod 200 and shaped as a projecting point 131, 141, 151 intended to s 'Engage in a longitudinal groove 210, 212, 214 provided on the cylindrical rear part 203 of the actuating rod 200. Each point-shaped projection 131, 141, 151 is located in the middle part of each flexible tongue 130, 140 , 150 located between the two ends 130 min, 130 min min, 140 min, 140 min min, 150 min, 150 min min of said flexible tab linked to said rigid tabs 111, 112, 113 of the sleeve 110.
It will be noted that the internal points or projections 131, 141, 151 of the flexible tongues 130, 140, 150 are offset two by two by an angle equal to approximately 120 degrees.
In addition, each flexible tongue 130, 140 150, opposite its internal projection 131, 141 151 on its external face 130 a, 140 a, 150 a, a recess 132, 142, 152 in the form of a portion of cylinder. axis parallel to the X axis.
The projections 131, 141, 151 in the form of a point of said flexible tabs 130, 140, 150 make it possible to secure the rotation of the transmission means with the actuating rod.
The recess 132, 142, 152 in the form of a portion of cylinder provided on the external face of each of the flexible tongues 130, 140, 150, makes it possible to give each flexible tongue 130, 140, 150 sufficient flexibility to allow in the event of significant efforts, the spacing of said tongue and an elastic return thereof in an adjacent groove of the actuating rod.
Of course, the present invention is in no way limited to the embodiments described and shown, but those skilled in the art can make any variant according to their spirit. For example, it can be provided according to a variant not shown that the flexible tongues extend longitudinally along the axis X of said actuating rod and the rigid tongues transversely to said axis X.
