Fig. 2 einen schematischen Längsschnitt durch eine Vorrichtung gemäss Fig. 1 mit der Transporteinrichtung in der unteren ersten Position;

The invention relates to a device for converting conveyed parts according to the preamble of claim 1.
Such a device has become known, for example, from DE 3 122 849. In this document, a device for transferring conveyor parts, such as workpieces and workpiece carriers, from a first conveyor track to a second conveyor track is described. Here, a transport device, which comprises two endless belts, picks up the conveyor parts to be moved in a first device of a first conveyor track, shifts and rotates them in a conveyor plane in order to deliver them again to a second conveyor track in a second conveyor direction. The second conveying direction is rotated by 180 ° with respect to the first conveying direction. The material to be conveyed is guided in a curved path in the transport device. In the area of this curved path, both endless belts rest against a group of steering rollers, the axes of which lie essentially perpendicular to the conveying plane.
In addition, there is an inner and an outer cheek on the transport device as an inner or outer stop for the material to be transported.
A transfer device of this known type has the disadvantage that it is fixedly attached at the end or at the beginning of a first or a second conveyor track. With such a transfer device, it is not possible to selectively remove conveyed parts during conveyance on a first conveying path and to feed them to a second conveying path or to leave the conveyed goods on the first conveying path. Such a function in the sense of an adjustable switch can not be achieved with a device according to the prior art.
The object of the invention is therefore to propose a device for moving conveyor parts, with which conveyor parts can be removed from a conveyor track in a controllable manner, the removed conveyor parts to be fed to a second conveyor track.
Starting from a device of the type described in the introduction, this object is achieved according to the invention by the characterizing features of claim 1.
The measures mentioned in the dependent claims allow advantageous developments and improvements of the invention specified in claim 1.
Accordingly, the height of the transport device of the device for moving conveyor parts is designed to be displaceable. With the shift in height, the transport device can take two positions. A first position in which the transport plane of the transport device is below the conveying plane of the first conveyor track and a second upper position in which the transport plane is above the conveying plane. In addition, a lifting device is provided, by means of which the two positions can be controlled.
Due to the displaceable design of the transport device as mentioned above, the device according to the invention can perform the function of a switch which can be activated. If the transport device is in the first lower position, the conveying parts, such as workpieces and workpiece carriers, remain on the first conveying path and pass through the transfer device according to the invention unaffected. However, if the transport device is in the second upper position, the conveying parts run from the conveyor track onto the transport plane of the transport device and are converted by this onto a second conveyor track by being shifted, rotated and released again in the second conveying direction.
Advantageously, the transport device comprises a stop transport element, which is arranged behind the cam transport element in relation to the first conveying direction and is designed as an endless belt. This is designed so that it runs straight and obliquely to both the first and the second conveying direction. It serves both as a transport element and as an external stop in relation to the curved path of the curve transport element for the conveyed parts.
With such a stop transport element, it is no longer necessary to attach a fixed outer cheek, which must be adapted to the parts to be conveyed, as an outer stop, which should run across the first conveyor track. A transport device designed in this way can thus be used much more flexibly.
In the event that the first conveyor track, as is widely used, consists of two conveyor sections running parallel to one another, it is particularly advantageous to arrange the transport device between the two conveyor sections. In this way, the transfer device can be inserted into the first conveyor track at any point without additional complex conversion measures, in particular without interrupting the conveyor track. In addition, in its upper second position, the transport device detects the conveying parts, in particular workpiece carriers, in the middle, and lifts them almost completely from the two conveying sections of the first conveying path without the risk of tipping.
When using a device according to the invention, a separator for the conveyor parts is preferably provided on the first conveyor track in front of the transfer device. In this way it is possible, for example, to distribute workpieces on separate workpiece carriers optionally one after the other between the first and the second conveyor track.
A target code reading device is preferably also provided in front of the transfer device on the first conveyor track. The lifting device of the transfer device can be controlled automatically by reading out a target code of each conveyor part with corresponding data processing. The transport device is automatically moved up or down so that the correspondingly coded conveyor part is automatically forwarded to the correct conveyor track. By combining several transfer devices according to the invention, naturally several targets can be approached automatically.
Without affecting the flexibility of the transfer device according to the invention with regard to the simple change of the type of installation or the size or shape of the conveyed parts, an inner stop can be attached to the inside between the first and the second conveying track without any problems. On the inside, such a stop does not have to cross either of the two conveyor tracks. However, it prevents the conveyed parts from deviating inwards from the planned transport direction.
The drive of the cam transport element is preferably coupled to the drive of the stop transport element in the transport device of the transfer device. On the one hand, both transport elements run synchronously, on the other hand, only one motor or a single coupling element is required to an external drive.
For this purpose, the endless belt of the cam transport element is advantageously guided on the underside of the transport device via a deflection roller which is fastened to the axis of a deflection roller of the stop transport element. Thus, this one deflection roller of the cam transport element serves as a coupling element for driving the stop transport element and no additional components, such as drive belts etc., are necessary. The stop transport element is driven directly by the endless belt of the curve transport element.
The drive of the transport device is preferably coupled to the drive of one of the two conveyor tracks. In this way, a separate drive motor for the transfer device is not necessary.
In a preferred embodiment of such a drive coupling, the endless belt of the curve transport element is guided at its front end with respect to the first conveying direction via a deflection roller which is fastened to a drive shaft of the first conveying path. The deflection roller thus simultaneously becomes the drive wheel and no further components are required to drive the curve transport element.
The lifting device advantageously comprises a pneumatic lifting element. Compressed air is usually available along the conveyor tracks, as it is required to control a wide variety of pneumatic machine parts, such as grippers, etc. In addition, a pneumatic lifting element is simple, among other things. can also be controlled electrically via electromechanical valves.
An embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing and is explained in more detail below with reference to the figures.
Show in detail:
Figure 1 is a schematic representation of a device according to the invention in plan view.
FIG. 2 shows a schematic longitudinal section through a device according to FIG. 1 with the transport device in the lower first position;
FIG. 3 shows a section of a longitudinal section according to FIG. 2, but with the transport device in the upper second position;
4 shows an example of a curved path region of a curve transport element in plan view and
5 shows a section through a swivel castor of the representation from FIG. 4.
Fig. 1 shows a section of a first conveyor track with two conveyor lines 2a / b. The start of a second conveyor track 3, which in turn comprises two conveyor sections 4a / b and which is at right angles to the first conveyor track 1, is shown in the lower region of FIG. 1. The conveyor track is divided, for example, into two sections, the incoming section 5 and the outgoing section 6, each of which has its own drive motor 7, 8. The conveyor lines 2a / b and 4a / b essentially consist of conveyor belts 9, which are supported and guided accordingly. The conveyor belts 9 are driven, for example, in the outgoing section 6 via drive wheels 10a / b, which are fastened on a drive shaft 11. The drive shaft 11 is driven by the motor 7.
In the interior of the outgoing section 6 of the first conveyor track 1, a transport device 12 according to the invention for moving conveyor parts is shown. A cam transport element 13 comprises a cam plate 14 and an endless belt 15. This is guided along the top of the cam plate 14 of the transport device 12 via a front 16 and a rear 17 deflection roller, which are arranged vertically and rotate about a horizontal axis. The guidance of the endless belt 15 in the region of its curved path 18 is not shown in FIG. 1. For this purpose, reference is made to the following description, in particular for FIGS. 4 and 5. On the underside of the cam plate 14 and therefore shown in broken lines, the endless belt 15 is returned in two straight sections 18a / b. Its lower horizontal deflection roller 19 is shown more clearly in FIGS. 2 and 3.
The front deflection roller 16 sits on the drive shaft 11 of the outgoing section 6 of the first conveyor track 1 and thus simultaneously serves as a drive wheel for the curve transport element 13.
A stop transport element 20 is shown in the rear area of the transport device 12 with respect to the first conveying direction F1. It comprises an endless belt 21 and two deflecting rollers 22, 23. The front deflecting roller 22 is designed in the form of a roller with an upper and lower groove and thus merges on its underside into the lower deflecting roller 19 for the curve transport element 13.
Furthermore, a lifting device 24, a target code recognition 25 and a separator 26 are shown in the top view according to FIG. 1.
FIG. 2 shows a workpiece carrier 27 which rests on the first conveyor track 1 at level 28. The transport device 12 is in its lower position. This means that both the endless belt 21 and the endless belt 15 of the stop transport element 20 and the curve transport element 13 are located below the support level 28 of the first conveyor track 1 for the workpiece carrier 27. In contrast to this, the lifting device 24 in FIG. 2 is extended upwards, with which the transport device 12 is in its second upper position, ie the upper edge of the endless belt 21 of the stop transport element 20 protrudes beyond the support level 28 of the workpiece carrier 27.
The top of the endless belt 15 of the curve transport element 13, which defines the transport plane of the transport device 12, also projects in particular in the rear area, in which it takes a curved path, beyond the level 28. The lifting device 24 acts on the cam plate 14, on which the rear deflection roller 17 is fastened via a suspension 29 and also via corresponding connecting elements 30, the deflection rollers 22, 23.
4 shows a group of four steering rollers 31a / b / c / d with the transport belt 15 attached. Such a group of steering rollers is located in the region of the curved path of the curve transport element 14 in the cam plate 14, as shown in FIG. 5. The swivel castor 31 is rotatably supported horizontally on an axle 33 via a bearing 32. An endless belt 15, shown in dashed lines, bears in an annular groove 34 running around the circumferential surface. It protrudes with its upper region 35 from the cam plate 14.
In operation, a workpiece carrier 27 is first stopped at the singler 26, where the conveying direction to be driven is determined via the target code recognition 25. If the workpiece carrier 27 is to be transported further along the conveying direction F1 on the first conveying path 1, the lifting device 24 is activated in such a way that the conveying device 12 is in the lower first position according to FIG. 2. The workpiece carrier is then transported over the transport device 12 by means of the two conveyor lines 2a / b.
If the workpiece carrier is to be moved in the second conveying direction F2 of the second conveying path 3, the lifting device 24 is caused to raise the transport device 12 above the support level 28. The workpiece carrier 27 is seated on the endless belt 15, which protrudes from the cam plate 14, at least in the curved path region of the curve transport element 13. It is already rotated slightly before it hits the endless belt 21 of the stop transport element 20. Both circulating endless belts 15, 21 now rotate the workpiece carrier and simultaneously move it in the direction of the second conveyor track 3.
Due to the inner stop 36, e.g. with very light conveying parts 27 prevents conveying parts 27 from moving too early, i.e. before the stop on the stop transport element 20, turn and leave the first conveyor track 1 without sitting completely on the second conveyor track 3. Finally, the workpiece carrier is placed on the conveyor sections 4a / b of the second conveyor track 3 and transported away by the latter in the second conveying direction F2.
In the meantime, the target code of the subsequent workpiece carrier could already be determined, so that the lifting device 24 can now in turn set the transport device 12 into the corresponding first lower or second upper position.
In the present exemplary embodiment, the front deflection roller 16 of the curve transport element 13 via the drive shaft 11 of the first conveyor track 1 is at the same time the drive wheel for the cam element 13. The drive of the first conveyor track 1 is thus coupled to the drive of the curve transport element 13. Via the lower deflection roller 19, which is formed in one piece with the deflection roller 22 of the stop transport element 20, the endless belt 21 of the stop transport element 20 is also driven via the endless belt 15. The drives of both endless belts 21, 15 of the transport device 12 are thus coupled to one another and thus run synchronously. A separate drive motor for the transport device 12 can be saved via the drive coupling by means of the deflection roller 16 to the drive shaft 11.
Since the transport device 12 is located entirely within the two conveyor sections 2a / b of the first conveyor section 1, no modification measures are necessary on the first conveyor track for the installation of this transfer device. The stop transport element 20 replaces an otherwise required stop cheek delimiting the curved path, which would run across the first conveyor path 1 and generally has to be adapted to the corresponding workpiece carrier, and at the same time effectively supports the transport of the workpiece carrier.
By connecting a number of conversion devices according to the invention in series, any number of targets can be controlled fully automatically, depending on the configuration, only the corresponding target code having to be specified on the respective workpiece carrier 27.
