Description
Fig. 2 eine Seitenansicht der Einrichtung nach Fig. 1,
Fig. 3 einen Axialschnitt durch eine Scheibe und
A device according to the preamble of claim 1 is known from DE-PS 3 333 301. A disc rotating at a constant speed is mounted on a base. The disc carries two swivel arms which can be pivoted about axes parallel to the axis of rotation of the disc. At the free ends of the swivel arms, another swivel arm is attached, which carries a vertically movable gripper at its free end. This makes it possible to stop the gripper for a short time in spite of the constantly rotating disk for gripping a confectionery piece on a conveyor belt and to move it synchronously with this box when inserting the object into a packaging box that is guided past.
The present invention has for its object to develop a device of the type mentioned in such a way that it is versatile. This object is achieved by the characterizing features of claim 1.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is explained below with reference to the drawings. It shows:
1 is a schematic plan view of the device in an application for the loading of containers,
2 is a side view of the device of FIG. 1,
Fig. 3 shows an axial section through a disc and
4 shows a top view of the disk according to FIG. 3.
1 shows two devices 1 according to the invention in an application where they grip biscuits 3 that are constantly supplied by a conveyor belt 2 and place them in tubular intermediate containers 4 on each further conveyor section 5 and form stacks therein. The conveyor lines 5 guide the filled containers 4 e.g. a packaging machine 6 too.
As shown in Fig. 2, the device 1 consists of a base 10 and a plurality of coaxial disks 11 screwed one above the other on the base. Each disk 11 carries at least one arm 12 with a gripper 13, which in the illustrated embodiment serves as a suction cup for gripping the Biscuits 3 is formed. The gripper 13 is movable by means of the arm 12 radially to the axis of rotation 14 of the disk 11 in question and parallel to this axis 14. 2, the arm 12 consists of a radially arranged telescope 15 which carries at its free end a second telescope 16 running parallel to the axis 14. The gripper 13 is attached to the movable member 17 of the second telescope 16. Each disk 11 consists of a central, stationary stator 18 and an annular rotor 19 rotatably mounted on the stator 18.
The top stator 18 is covered by a cover 20.
3 shows an axial section through a disk 11. The stator 18 is somewhat thicker than the rotor 19. It has 22 pins 23 on one end face and, on the other end face 24, bores 25 aligned therewith for centering disks 11 arranged one above the other and with the base 10. Furthermore, the stator 18 has through bores 26 for Screwing onto the base 10 by means of screws 34. A plurality of electrical plug contacts 27 protrude from the end face 22, and aligned sockets 28 are thus attached to the end face 24. The aligned plug contacts 27 and sockets 28 are interconnected by lines 29, 30 connected. The two lines 29 are used to transmit the supply voltage for control devices 31, 32 in the stator 18 and in the rotor 19.
The line 30 is a data bus for transmitting control commands from a central controller 33 to the individual panes 11 and for transmitting any sensor signals from the panes 11 to the controller 33. This data bus can also be optoelectronic, with a photo receiver instead of a pin 27 and a light-emitting diode is arranged instead of the associated socket 28. Controlled by the device 31, the light-emitting diode repeats the signal received by the photo receiver.
The stator 18 also has two through holes 38 for the pneumatic supply of the rotor 19 e.g. with vacuum for the gripper 13 and compressed air for the actuating cylinder.
The rotor 19 is mounted on the stator 18 by means of ball bearings 39. A servomotor 40 controlled by the device 31 serves to rotate the rotor. A pinion 41 on the output shaft of the motor 40 engages in a ring gear 42 of the rotor 19. Two slip rings 43 on the stator 18 serve to transmit the supply voltage to the control device 32 and a further slip ring 44 to transmit control and sensor signals between the devices 31, 32 Corresponding brushes 45 are attached to the rotor 19. Alternatively, the slip rings 43, 44 can also be arranged on the rotor 19 and the brushes 45 on the stator 18. To transmit the compressed air and the vacuum, the stator 18 has two circumferential grooves 46 which communicate with the bores 38 via transverse bores 47.
Radial bores 48 in the rotor 19 open into these grooves 46 and feed a valve unit 49 which is controlled by the device 32. 3, the arm 12 is shown as a parallelogram linkage 52. The gripper movement is controlled by servo cylinders 53, which are controlled by servo valves in the valve unit 49. Linear position sensors 54 are used to return the position of the gripper 13. Instead of the cylinders 53, electric servomotors, e.g. Servomotors with threaded spindles can be used. At the end of the linkage 52, a vertical tube 55 is detachably attached, which carries the gripper 13 at the lower end. The tube 55 is connected via a hose 56 to a switching valve in the valve unit 49.
The tube 55 is of different lengths in the different rotors 19 arranged one above the other, so that all the grippers 13 are approximately at the same height. Tube 55 and gripper 13 can easily be exchanged for another gripping device, e.g. if different types of products are to be handled.
In order to keep the moment of inertia of the rotor 19 low, its housing 57 as well as the arm 12 and the gripper 13 are expediently made of a light, stiff material, preferably of carbon fiber reinforced plastic.
In operation, the device described works as follows: The position of the biscuits continuously delivered on the conveyor belt 2 is determined by sensors, not shown, e.g. a television camera with an evaluation device. The signals from this sensor are fed into the central control 33. All rotors 19 of the disks 11 rotate in the same direction, but not at a constant speed. Their average speed depends on the speed of the belt 2. The control devices 31 of the various disks 11 are individually controlled by the data bus 30 and receive the commands from the controller 33 for the movement of the servo motor 40 and the arm 12 required to grip the biscuits 3 .
The movement of the gripper 13 is controlled so that the relative speed between the gripper 13 and belt 2 is very low when a biscuit is gripped. In the same way, when the rotor 19 is turned further, the biscuit gripped is placed in the container 4 or e.g. stored in a packaging box in a targeted manner, the horizontal movement of the gripper 13 being synchronized with the movement of the containers when it is deposited.
Due to the modular structure, the device described is very versatile and can therefore be mass-produced inexpensively. In addition, the disks 11 can be assembled and checked, except for the order-dependent grippers 13, so that short delivery times for new systems can be realized. The device 1 can e.g. are also used for grouping piece goods on a second conveyor belt, for loading chocolate boxes with different pralines, for palletizing packed goods, for sorting out incorrectly packed goods, for loading a buffer store or the like. Thanks to the modular structure, additional disks 11 can also be subsequently placed on the device 1, e.g. to increase capacity.
In the exemplary embodiment shown, each gripper 13 has three degrees of freedom controlled by servomotors, namely the rotation about the axis 14, the radial distance of the gripper 13 from the axis 14 and the displacement parallel to the axis 14. Depending on the application, it may be desirable to have an additional degree of freedom , e.g. a rotation of the gripper 13 to provide its vertical axis parallel to the axis 14. This is e.g. useful when elongated products, e.g. Chocolate bar to be placed with a certain orientation.
