Figur 1 die Vorrichtung in der Gebrauchslage am Bau;
Figur 2, 3a und 3b verdeutlichen den Gebrauch der Vorrichtung in verschiedenen Stufen;
Figur 4 zeigt eine Alternative der Vorrichtung;
The present invention relates to a device for fixing the position of two mutually spaced formwork walls, consisting of a rod-shaped support element, which is intended to be anchored in a foundation in a vertical position approximately along the center line of a wall to be erected, and a crossbar whose length corresponds to the distance between the facing formwork walls.
Such devices are known from EP-A 084 017. The rod-shaped mounting element consists of a U-shaped profile section. A through hole is drilled in each of the two parallel legs of the profile section, the two holes being aligned with one another. A freely displaceable crossbar is pushed through the two holes. The cross bar is fixed by means of a fixing pin which is struck between the cross bar and the U-shaped profile bar. For this purpose, the profile bar is provided with a notch running in the longitudinal direction.
The known device has proven itself in terms of functionality. However, there is a risk that the corresponding locating pins will be lost or missing at all.
Another device of the above type is shown in DE-C 3 823 401. The rod-shaped mounting element consists of a tube section or a full round rod. A slot is sawn or milled into this holding element about 2-4 cm below the upper end to about three quarters of its outside diameter. This slot is used to hold and fix the crossbar.
This device has also proven its functionality. However, making the slot in the tube or round bar proves to be a very expensive operation. In addition, a tool must be available for fixing the crossbar with which the upper end of the mounting element can be bent to fix the crossbar.
Devices of the type mentioned are required in large quantities and remain in the wall. Therefore, the price plays an important role.
The present invention has for its object to provide a device according to the preamble of claim 1, which is installed without fixing pins and without special tools and can be manufactured cheaper.
This object is achieved by a device for fixing the position of two formwork walls which are at a distance from one another and have the features of claim 1. Further features according to the invention emerge from the dependent claims and their advantages are explained in the following description.
The drawing shows:
Figure 1 shows the device in the use position on the building;
Figures 2, 3a and 3b illustrate the use of the device in different stages;
Figure 4 shows an alternative of the device;
FIGS. 5a and 5b illustrate the use of the alternatives of the device, again in different stages.
During the creation of the floor slab B, or a foundation, the device according to the invention, generally designated 1, is hammered into the not yet hardened concrete. The two formwork walls 12 and 13 are erected on both sides of the device 1 and pulled together by means of tensioner 10. The fresh concrete is then poured in between the formwork walls. The spacing devices according to the invention are completely covered by the concrete and are lost.
The device 1 according to the invention consists of two basic elements, the mounting element 2 and the crossbar 3. The mounting element 2 is made of an angle iron in the embodiment shown. At the lower end, the legs are cut off at an angle. The tip 4 thus formed facilitates the pushing of the device into the fresh concrete. The angle iron chosen for the mounting element preferably has a flank length of 20-30 mm.
About 5-6 cm below the upper end of the mounting element 2, triangular recesses 5 are punched into both legs 8. These recesses 5 are made in alignment in the legs 8, so that the crossbar 3 can be pushed in. The crossbar 3 is made of an angle iron or a structured reinforcing iron and provided at its ends with a plastic cap.
The web present on the mounting element 2 between the long sides of the two triangular cutouts 5 is pre-bent in production so that the mounting element 2 deforms at the construction site at the right place and the force required for this deformation is no longer too great.
A further possibility for reducing the force for the deformation of the upper region 6 results from the fact that the web 9 resulting on the long side of the triangular recess 5 is interrupted by approximately 5 mm. The remaining stubs hold the crossbar 3, and the upper region 6 of the mounting element 2 can be bent with little force. In addition, the step of pre-bending the web 9 is omitted.
About 1-2 cm from the upper end of the holding element 2, a hole 7 extending over the apex is punched. This hole is used on the construction site to insert a round bar 11 and to bend the upper area 3 of the mounting element with relatively little force due to its leverage. The dimensioning of the hole is designed in such a way that the tip of a building hammer or a chisel also fits into it.
As shown in Figure 1, the device is inserted approximately in the middle of the wall to be created in the fresh concrete. The crossbar 3 is now moved so that one end is aligned with the outer formwork wall 12. Now the upper area 6 of the holding element 2 is bent with a round bar 11 as indicated in FIG. 3a. The recesses 5 deform in this bend in such a way that the crossbar, which consists of angle iron, is deformed and is immovably connected to the mounting element.
If a profile made of solid material is used as the crossbar 3, this advantageously has a structured surface which increases the grip of the connection with the mounting element 2. It would be conceivable that the cross bar 3 is made of a structured reinforcing steel.
The device 1 according to the invention is not only extremely inexpensive in terms of material expenditure and production, but also forms a unit for delivery. No separate loose parts are required to lock the crossbar 3 in its desired position. For the application of the device 1, only a round bar 11 is required as a lever, which is always present in the form of remnants of the reinforcing steel on a construction site.
The triangular recess 5 can also, as shown in FIG. 4, be removed with the base line of the triangle from the apex 14 of the mounting element 2 and punched into the two legs 8. The kinking then takes place on the side facing away from the apex 14 of the holding element, and there are two webs 9 min, which are formed on the flanks 16. This does not change the function of the device.
It is also essential to the invention that the hole 7 made above the recess 5 in the apex region allows deformation by bending by means of a lever. If the crossbar is not completely in the right place when it is clamped for the first time, the cutout 5 can easily be widened again. Clamping by means of bending also guarantees that the mounting element does not come loose again in not fully hardened concrete. This risk existed for all elements in which the connection between the holding element and the crossbar was ensured by impact, for example with a hammer.
