Fig. 1 eine schaubildliche Darstellung des Krafttrainingsgerätes,
Fig. 2 eine Seitenansicht des Krafttrainingsgerätes.

The invention relates to a device for body training, in particular for training the wrist and forearm muscles, with at least one swivel-mounted handle that can be actuated against resistance and with at least one counterpressure cushion intended for supporting the arms.
Such exercises are known, for example, by gripping a round bar with both hands and winding and unwinding a cord attached to it with a weight. Another exercise option is to swing the dumbbells up and down, with the forearm on the mat and a free wrist. The main disadvantage here is that the resistance can only be selected according to the existing devices, and not continuously.
Furthermore, due to gravity, the resistance is always directed downwards. The first type of exercise also puts strain on the upper arm and armpit muscles, which is not always desirable.
The present invention is based on the following objective: The resistance should be freely and continuously selectable in a certain range. It has been shown that strength training in the range of 80-100% of the maximum possible strength brings about the greatest strength increase. While changing the resistance setting, the angular position of the handles should remain unchanged. The force curve should go from a low value over a maximum to a lower value again during the movement angle of approx. 90 of the handle. This is desirable because the torque is smaller in both extreme areas of motion than in the central part.
Exercises with upper or lower grip should be possible.
The resistance to the handle should be directed downwards or upwards.
To achieve the aforementioned object, the device according to the invention is characterized in that a third arm and an arc-shaped fourth arm in a quadrilateral joint, consisting of a fixed device arm as the first arm, a second arm, on the pivotable end of which two handles are rotatably mounted on both sides Resistance element inside this quadrilateral joint is articulated on two arms. Furthermore, the distance between the pivot axis of the arc-shaped arm and the articulated support of the resistance element on the device arm is preferably substantially equal to the arc radius of the arc-shaped arm. The device arm is advantageously rotatably mounted on an upright stand arm, which axis of rotation coincides with the plane of the four-bar linkage and can be locked in different positions by 1800 angles of rotation.
The resistance force is preferably generated by a gas spring consisting of a piston / cylinder unit, which has the advantage that it allows adjustment due to the existing length limitation in the unloaded state, during which the pressure force has approximately zero value.
Further details and advantages of the invention result from the following description and the drawings, in which an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown purely by way of example.
Show it:
1 is a diagrammatic representation of the strength training device,
Fig. 2 is a side view of the strength training device.
On a stand arm 1, a horizontal axis 2 is fastened, on which a four-bar linkage is rotatably mounted, this axis 2 coinciding with the plane of the four-bar linkage. This quadrilateral joint consists of a vertical device arm 3 as the first arm, which can be rotated through a 1800 angle and is held in place by a locking pin 12 in its respective vertical position. At the pivotable end of a second arm 4, two handles 5 are rotatably mounted and on this second arm 4 one end of a third arm 6 is articulated, the other end of which is articulated at the end of an arcuate fourth arm 7, the other end of which is articulated on the vertical device arm 3. A sliding part 8 with a locking device 8a slides on this arc-shaped fourth arm 7.
On this sliding part 8, one end of a gas spring 9 is articulated, while the other end is articulated on the axis 10 of the device arm 3. The counter pressure pads 11 are attached to the device arm 3. If the practicing person presses the handles 5 downward, the second arm 4 moves the arcuate fourth arm 7 downward via the third arm 6, as a result of which the gas pressure spring is compressed against resistance.
The geometry of the levers and the articulation points of the gas spring ensures that the resulting distances between the force axes behave in such a way that a force with an arcuate shape acts on the handles 5, i.e. that the torque is low at the beginning, takes a maximum after about half the movement and returns to a lower value after an approximately right angle.
If the locking pin 12 is pulled against the practitioner and the four-bar linkage is rotated by 180 °, you can
the handles 5 are pressed upwards against force, the force curve remaining the same.
A seat 13 on a horizontal stand arm 14 allows more comfortable practice.
In summary, the advantages of the device described above compared to the known exercise possibilities can be seen in the fact that with this device the resistance can be continuously adjusted without changing the angle in the four-bar linkage and the position of the handles, the torque curve a bo.
has genetic characteristics and the resistance can be directed from top to bottom and from bottom to top.
